Hi!Thanks for the comments...the engine was original.I just changed the exaust to make it sound a "bit" louder lol The suspension kit is ProComp 9000 shockers (4" or +8cm front and 6" or +12cm rear) and Scorpion Racing coil springs (+5cm front and +8cm rear).That was a good suspension combination.The shockers adjust softer or harder by themselves.Very confortable... lol
Only until 1990 (if i'm correct) and after 1994 we have 4 doors Range Rover. Between those years they were all 2 doors. About the V8's, all the one's here in Portugal from 1991 have from factory the 3.9 EFI V8 engine.

@KidLovesMar well, i'm sure this range rover is from 1991 because it was mine. I don't know how about the rest of the world but here in Portugal there were 2 door Range Rover's until 1993. In 1991 the diesel were the VM's engine and after 1992 or 1991 they came with the 200 tdi engines and after 1994 the 300 tdi engine but with 4 doors.

The idea of a 4 door came in the 72, and only in 1980 it came out as land rover showed the first 4 door RR. 2 door models were still produced, although, over the years, changes were made, and in 1986 came the first Turbo diesel engine (VM), first a 2.4 litre, than came the 2.5 litre, only in 1992 the 200 tdi was made into prodution. As for the v8, it was a 3.5 carburettor fed until 1984, from 84 to 1990
I ended up passing it by. I've heard consistently from Range Rover enthusiasts that they're maintenance hogs and I just don't have the time and money to put into it right now. My priorities have recently changed and I'd rather put the $2,500 into a good microphone or preamp that requires almost zero maintenance and will eventually pay for itself and then some.
5 grand in what currency? If your on about £5000 then that's more than enough. I'm thinking of getting one myself, can pick them up for the UK easily for under a grand. Which is a bargain considering what you're getting...
That's cheap, we pay the equivilant of $2.27 a litre... the solution over here is to buy one with an LPG gas conversion (which there's alot of) as that fuel sells for way less than half the price. Those little suzukis are supposed to be very good off road, though I think I'd rather have the class of a range.
@CavvyStudios I think were the only ones here who have a brain and speak english. I wouldnt know about buying a range rover because i am looking for one myself! What i am going to do is buy a cheap $500 one and fix it up :)
I'm thinking about getting a 1995 Range Rover County LWB for $2,500. Does anyone here know if there's anything I should look for in it and if that's a good deal? It's got the running boards, brake light guards, etc. Beluga black with tan leather interior.
Hi tbkawa!The exaust is the standard one.I just took both off (mid and rear)mufflers and placed a "silencer/abafador" in the place of the mid muffler. Send me some pictures of your V8 to my email MiltonCosta84@hotmail,com it's a 3.5,right?
