Option B, seems more practical than a half bath in a studio.
Opt B for me! Brilliantly illustrated and explained. Nice work!!
I prefer option B. I don't think that a unit this small needs two bathrooms. That would just be a hassle. I also like that there is now a desk area. Both are huge improvements over the original layout which is mindbogglingly bad.
I like the entrance to the bathroom in option B.. Nice work!
Very nice. I prefer B, for a small unit I think it makes more sense to have only one bathroom… Btw, have you considered working with more “traditional” plans? I love open concepts but it’d be interesting to see what you can do with something different.
Awesome video!
I prefer option B. I'd rather have one bathroom accessible to everyone, and additional storage areas. One thing I do when designing, is add pocket or sliding doors -- not a fan of swing doors, especially since nowadays there are so many pocket/sliding door options. Also, I would prefer to see a consolidated utility/laundry room -- the extra wall/door between these two spaces seems like a waste of space, IMHO -- it's easier to work in a more open utility/laundry room if any of the appliances breaks down. I've been in this situation, LOL!!
Great job on both options though.
i think option B is better in terms of if someone wants to watch TV while cooking or doing other stuff in the kitchen.
A! Guest bathroom is a must have. I like how the kitchen, living, and dining are connected. Not very fond of B, because there are many wasted spaces. But both are definitely much better than the original plan. Good work!
Though some commenters feel otherwise, I think the guest half-bath is unnecessary for a studio apartment. Plan B would work for me. If you could forgo the stools at the island you could push the couch right against it, making the "conversation" area a bit more roomy.
Wow. Brilliant layouts. Option B unless two bathrooms are needed.
Option B for sure. I think its necessary to have study/work space in studio apartment.
B.
Thanks for the class
Option B is better. The second bathroom is good but when it comes to the home office or bathroom I pick the home office.
I prefer option A, but a study/workspace area is essential.
I would prefer “B” because of the workspace. Also having two bathrooms in a studio apartment seems unnecessary. I do prefer the lounge layout in “A” because of the social aspect, as well as seating towards the view. Because of the TV in the bedroom, I might forgo one in the living room, or have a projector with drop-down screen setup.
A. Wondering whether a sliding door would work better for the powder room.
What makes the original designer do all those non-90 degree walls? Is it to the maximise the area? I like plan B- if the ‘service’ wall is well designed the apartment will look really sharp.
A. I wouldn’t want to be limited in the size of TV I could place in the space. If I didn’t have a lot of company I’d forego the guest bath and put in a study workspace.
I’d also love to see these layouts fully rendered!
B for sure
Love the content pro ❤️ keep it up
I have a plan for you how can i send it?
I prefer the second idea (B)
B! But why not a full frosted glass panel on the bedroom? Two openings are kinda redundant.
B - I don't like how you would have to cross through the living space in A since the TV is on the island wall.
Is it commen on Amerika to not only rent ore buy a apartment whit furniture. But alsow to not move it around. Like you buy it this way and thats the way it will be?
Definitely B. I'm not a fan of many things in A.
Plan A is more elegant but plan B is more practical.
First one 😁
