3022$ + your work. Nice bike, and I finally get a realistic idea of what a machine like this would cost. Iâve been back and forth, between a bike like this and a comparable electric bike. Either way I looked at the project it was going to cost some $$$.
What I ended up doing(for now), I picked up a 1980 Yamaha 185cc street bike(ugly mofo) with hardly any use 1500 miles for 1000$. I started with, paint, tires, handle bars, shocks, and Take off all the plastic, and anything that is not needed, strip it down as much as possible. General tuneup, grease, filters, oil etc. As it is rideable 1500$. To make it nice would be another 500$. Plates&insurance 600$..Canada we have to. So Iâm into it about 2100$. Another 30 hours work and 500$ and Iâve got something Iâm not embarrassed to ride. I still like your setup because I could put it easily in the back of my truck to take out to ride, or just a slick setup for around town.
Good vidjoe, and you detail the real cost. Enjoy , it looks like it would be a blast !
Bro thats dope. Theses bike are not supposed to replace Motorcycles, its at the end of the day something you create with your hands and have fun with.
I built a motorised bike all in for 100 odd quid not thousands this guy is crazy eBay is the one
@@1212341234alan I built a 212 on an identical frame with color shift paint for 500 American! Dude might as well plan on keeping it! Online shopping is a helluva drug!!
To build a bike like this not 3grand bro lmao it not a dirtbike motor super cheap online there not much to em js
@@demonic2534 Canada everything hard to get and $$$$
"Yes officer, its 49cc stock."
Lol
technically...
If it got pedals, Its legal for streets
Im 13 and police got caught me with 125cc bicycle no ticets or sth
With gearbox 4
Stop trying to get me in trouble with my wife! Iâm dreaming of doing this on some fat tires.
đ€
đ€Łđ€Ł me too
@Brantley Edwin you're definitely right, nobody cares since that's not possible
Fat tire builds are really problematic! Good luck
The motorized bike game has gone so far since I was into it ten years ago. Back in the day there was only one guy to have successfully swapped a puch moped head and jug on his bike (with heavy machining). The biggest problem back then was the cranks were so unbalanced which they probably still are but not as bad. No I see this bike and Iâm like omg. Brings me pure joy the see the hobby has progressed . Cheers man great bike
For your steering setup, the reason it keeps coming loose is because you need to get some spacers in-between your headset and the bottom piece of the fork where it sits. they like a couple bucks for a whole set and that should completely fix your issue.
Wow !
Best walkaround Iâve ever seen.
Thanks
I second that đŻđđœ
I like the way you go about building your bike and are so willing to share your experience and all the details and descriptions of your machine. It is obvious your pride in constructing the bike. Your attitude is inspiring to me as I am near to finishing my own motorized bicycle. Ride safe.
Good, thank you. Good luck
looks awesome, don't let a tweekers steal it
the reason your headset keeps coming loose is: Loosen up the top crown of the fork, take off top cap, take off stem, then put a spacer/spacers under your stem so that the stem sticks up about 5mm above the steer tube! then you leave the clamp bolts on the back of the stem loose while you tighten up the top cap bolt (not that tight just enough to pretension the bearings) when you tighten the top cap bolt you want to make sure it is tight but not binding so you steer left and right make sure it is ok... Make sure the bars are straight inline with the tire then tighten up the stem cinch bolts on the back of the stem, finally tighten the top crown on your forks (should be loose during these steps) and finally it will stay tight!! I can't believe no one has said anything thus far!
Hello mr marcus, great motorized, bike, real looks good, outstanding, keep sharing your motorized, bikes, experience, & upgrades, & rebuilts. Thanks, from panama, joe.
Will do.
Really cool bike! Thanks for sharing. The fact that you pieced all this together is impressive and a testament to your ingenuity and patience. I agree with you on the thumb throttle after getting a minibike with a twist throttle. Very cool build, sir! đ
Thank you very much!
This is dope, brother. Definitely keep creating cool stuff like this đŠŸ
Will do.
I didn't know "thumb throttle things" exists. I ordered it right now and I will use to clutch lever. Huge thanks to you!
Np, your gonna love it. If u have a Different carb from the stock one it should fit prefect.
That's an awesome bike i don't know how you could part with it after all that work đ
God bless you and stay safe out there đââïž đŹđ§
Really dope of a build. Your approach and execution. Very unique and nicely done.đđŒ
Great video and the bike looks really beautiful. I bet it sounds great at high rpm .thanks for sharing .nice work
Thanks for watching!
@@LifeofMarcus What is the cc"s? In my street and strip car I run washer fluid cheaper and better than 30 below or water wetter. Washer fluid has alkahol in it and won't freeze. No heat in winter but you do not have a heater core. Cooler running more compression you can run and better gas mileage.
@@LifeofMarcus Awesome build ...I'm thinking some good front suspension forks & a suspension seat post to go with that seat would make a big ride improvement.
The water pump driven off the magneto belt & pulley gave me an idea for a gas/electric hybrid 2 stroke....Instead of a water pump underneath, put a 100W or 200W small generator/alternator in place that charges a smaller (lighter) e-bike lithium battery pack. Add a 500w or 750w geared hub front motor (smaller, lighter, lot's of torque)....Ride mainly with the gas 2 stroke engine only (while it charges the battery pack)...For steep hills or quick acceleration use both gas & electric and for areas where you can't ride a gas bike or want to be quiet use the electric only. Hopefully with a geared hub motor & smaller battery pack, it wouldn't add a ton of weight to the bike.
Wow. Looks absolutely turbo, very nice piece of hardware. Its alot of money but if you've got a passion for something, its always worth it in the end, even for the experience.
Thanks,
Wow nice bike Marcus (Marcus here too) it's way out of my affordable range but is awesome and has to be a good rider as well. I recently built a bike myself, more of a budget build though. I got a free Huffy Beach Cruiser and my friend gave me an 80 cc engine kit, just a cheap one, but it is total fun. I'm out for two tires, tubes and rim liners for around $52 total cost. Not bad for a poor boy. Just found your channel and subbed. Stay safe out there.
A piece of art bro, and excellent, no bullshit instructional video, thanks!
Videos only getting better
Love this bike. I can't believe that thing needs a 35 pilot lol that's awesome
Thanks
Love this vids keep up the great work đ
Thanks
Yes
I know im late to this bike build but here it is. I snapped up a seat post with a spring in it, love it. Was about $10. I asked a police what they wanted to see and he said just stay off the sidewalks and signal your turns so I got a wireless turn flasher for $15. Headlight, rechargeable battery so i can ride all day and get caught out still riding in the dark. I only got a big tank because where i live you need max range. Love that. Great build, stay safe. Also....learn to weld if you need to pay $300.
Bro this a beautiful bike. I like the gold anadized detailes it's a nice touch. The whole bike looks sweet. I'm considering building a bike but i usually go all out. I'm into the rc hobby and i don't want to sell anything for extra cash but i should. Thank you for the details.
Air I put in the tire .59 cents per psi
It should be free if u walk up and ask em to turn on the air, i think the government makes it so air is free because some people dont wanna fill their tires if it costs money and stuff happens but im in california so it might be diff for you, they make it so u can pay for air but u can get it free if u ask em to turn it on, its like a secret
Iâd have some kinda front fender on it or get splashed with nasty water if it rains at all while riding, but other than that I wouldnât change nothing else about it. Nice bike!
I dont ride in the rain
Brother Man,
Outstanding build, I am a new subscriber. I am impressed. Most motorized bikes are built using very cheap Walmart bicycles.
This is the first build I've seen featuring a water cooled engine.
If I had 3 g's to spend on a bike, You would be boxing that one up.
I will be following Your platform to check out more of Your projects.
Peace, Long Life and Power.
Raymond Mack
Thanks again for everything, much appreciated. Everyone always cheap out on building a bike. But i wanted something reliable that also looks good.
Nice looking ride, a little suggestion, some blue silicone coolant lines (available at any truck dealership) would color match your ride well, almost a perfect match to be honest.
Really a good job.
Nice build
I'm glad you like it
I use the same chains, I have snapped a master link on one once, but the actual chain, I haven't broken one either.
Wow. Im Curious to how you did that.
@@LifeofMarcus I don't know it pulled it apart and then ripped it into. But it was on a transmission chain. On a 79cc 4 stroke. My transmission chains wear out a lot faster than the drive chains. Moving a lot faster and nowhere near as long. It was only once and I expect them now.
Greatly enjoyed the build review. Thanks, stay safe
Thanks, i will try to
Great video man and one of the best motorized bicycles I've seen
U killed it bruh!!!
Hey Marcus! I have to give ya a A+ For the Build, The Style And The Setup.... Also Very Glad To Be A Member Of Your Channel Cause I myself I'm A Welder An I'm Getting Ideas On How I Want To Build My Bike Cause HEY FOR US BIG GUYS WE GOTTA PUT THE MONEY INTO THEM TO MOVE OUR BIG BUTTS!!!! I Can't Wait To See What Else You Come Up With.... Ran L Dayton Ohio
Thanks bro for the words. This summer i will have my bike up and running. Its super cold here and i dont want to be outside.
Interesting video, been wondering what kind of investment was needed.
Should do a detailed video for your next build; step by step.
Starts out at about 400 for 25 mph and the more Power speed or reliability you tend to spend a lot more. And i will indeed do a step by step video
@@LifeofMarcus Does that include cost of the bike? You could probably get away with half that cost, but reliability/safety will not be of concern, which is somewhat concerning.
Tools, lubes, and etc. might add another 100-150, so your number is more comprehensive I suppose to the first time buyer with no prior equipment.
Awesome bike !!! Great thorough breakdown.. awesome awesome bike. Has great character. Sweet customs..ya did.
Thanks for watching
I know it was expensive but it is the best performing motorized bike I have ever seen...good job!
Just Google motorized bike assembly reviews on CZcams and to find a motor on Amazon just Google 100cc 2-stroke motors 49 cc 80 cc anbull is one company,, I think there's another one all too but yes mostly from China
At 10k subs u gotta do a bike giveaway
I will think about that. That wont be very easy to do
Just discovered you & your channel. Keep up the good work! Bike way cool! (but u knew that!)
That's some serious FrankenCycle my friend, Big Ups! Nice Setup! đź
Much appreciated
Awesome build my guy! I got a 49cc 4 stroke that I love, got about $450 in it, but it's more a cruiser than a speed demon.
Keep it that way. No reason to go faster. Me personally i like to do both.
ye i got a 49cc 4 stroke and about $400 in Ima try to make it a speed demon
Yeah Iâll think Iâll just buy the $100 kit on amazon.
Lol, nothing wrong with that
Sameeee
Sick bike and awesome video bro, that bike must feel awesome to ride

Is that a Doug Owens clutch if so how do I get one? đ„
Yes it is. You will have to message him on fb for one
Darcy Hemeon makes the SAF super clutch, I have one and it never slipped once. motoredbikes.com/threads/s-a-f-super-clutch.56769/#lg=attachment95052&slide=0
There's a place called you bolt USA they have a lot of stuff and they have a new app allies Express check them out
I just got a flex muffler with a silencer for $30 it was $60 on Amazon from the USA not China you get to choose USA or China get it quicker

Nice build! Nice to gather around some parts on a low budget and build something beautiful and fun. Love the caferacer styling and blue color.
Thanks
@@LifeofMarcus Painted an MTB frame today. Color blue turned out to be the same kind, French racing blue, thought it would be lighter đ Nice coincidence
I'm a newbie to this whole motorized bicycle thing I only have a 49cc but I'm loving it and I can see how people can get addicted to these things cuz I'm becoming that way very fast.
That is one nice motorized bike and yes they are not cheap at all but well worth it that motor is off the hook .Awesome job.
Thx
Thank you for the break down. People think thing's are cheaper than they really are. Don't forget to add in your labor time for the build. Even though it's yours
Itâs crazy expensive. Its the little things that add up

Nice build my man. Looking sweet...
Absolutely love the bike. Great work Bro.
Thanks bro
Nice Work Attention to detail Looks Badass !!
Thanks
This bike made us what we are today. And we mean. Mean torque that it is. More bikes Marcus!
It's definitely worth it. Awesome build.
Nice build. I'm into mopeds but that looks like a nice build. And you don't flinch, you get what you need I see. ;-)
Pretty much. At some point in a build you just want to do it right. Most times i dont look at the cost.
The prices Your quoting are insane to eBay best advice ever
Love the looks of this bike. Question though if you spent a good amount on the front forks why not get suspension too? Wouldnt it be a smoother ride?
Thank you! I was wondering that same thing!
Thanks and be well.
Sincerely,
Alicia from Sweden
I'm in the process of collecting the parts for my 'all out' build based on a schwinn chopper and a CNC case Minarelli vertical hybrid so it's interesting to see there are other passionate people out there with deep pockets lol.
If you haven't painted the exhaust already, or keep the idea for future builds - have you considered ceramic coating instead of normal high temp paint ? I treated various exhaust-related components using this process during my big-horsepower Nissan Skyline project and it's amazing !!! Not only does the final finish looks great, ceramic coating helps big-time in controlling temperatures ! Especially the radiated heat. It's not cheap but if you powercoated your frame then you can afford to ceramic coat your pipe. Try it !
My pops did the silver color coating on his headers and the floor went from too hot to be barefoot comfortable to no problem in the summer heat. That stuff really works! I forget the company name. Not cera coat.
Bruh that's wild. Also crazy seeing the pedals still on it!
Yeah i know. đ€«
I have seen a lot of half done projects. I have never seen a project so well thought out and finished as yours. If you built an airplane, I'd buy it.
Looks cool...I love the water cooling
Informative and great content. Keep it up
Thanks will try to.
Badass bike can't wait to get out and ride found a awesome group to ride with Arizona Motorized Bikes
That is one sweet ride. I like the wheel and brake setup.
Me too! brakes stop on a dime.
Nice bike!,always wanted to build one but not really that fast!,lol that's a little too fast for me! I have everything I need, except the motors which I had just sent away for,one was about 150.00 dollars and the other was close to 300.00 dollars, but yours is really a nice ride,I hope mine turn out just a little like yours. Thanks for the number crunching helps out alot to see what it takes to start and finish a project like that!. thank you again, great vid. Peace
Np, later Randy.
I just pulled the trigger on a hopped up kit from BikeBerry!đ€ đșđž
Really nice bike dude đ
The single lever dual brake set up is brilliant
Peace and love new to the channel I have a gas bike but itâs wack lol I really like ur bikes my bro â keep the videos coming I can watch ur bikes all day
Bet. Thanks for the sub. And soon you will get there on having a cool bike too.
Nice.... what carburetor are you running? Wanna boost my top speed..I'm doing 45mph. which one should I get?
Amazing job man.
Thanks
Love the water cooled engine ! Never saw before !
Awesome job!, thanks for the entertainment
Np
The bike that looks like yours I ordered from bikeberry mine has front suspension only thing it doesn't come with is a motor but I have one of those to put on it the Phantom
Aye nice build! iâm rebuilding my schwinn rn, just repainted it waiting on the new motor 5hp 36t sprocket, 3 spoke mag wheels 1.75â kevlar tires and a stage 3 clutch assembly from Ryan Darra (RDManu) and thatâll be the build for the season until i get my new frame and we can switch everything onto over the winter
That would be a dope setup.
dont know why but i always love a good motorized bike build. holy shit thats awesome!
It was worth it but at the same thing it wasnât. But i just wanted to do something different
That one of the baddest bikes I've seen . good job homeboy...
Nice ride! Thanks for the info, great vid
Glad you enjoyed it!
Super nice job Marcus
Sweeeett bike !! as for cost...up here in Canada, car insurance for most ppl is $1900-$2600 per yr,an how much a ricer spends on a exhaust system or body kit ect. soo ignore these haters who says you spent too much cause at the end its how good you feel riding your bike. good luck man ! ride safe !
Your right about that and thanks
Damn, that's dope AF dude!
Thanks dude
Why do you need the exhaust spring? Is that the only thing holding it to the engine?
Nice speed demon you got there dudeđ good work on ur project
Thanks
Question... Could you use a stick mountain gear set up on these? 1-6 speed- and just pull the clutch when you shift the gear/sproket size?
Thank you so much for sharing! I imagined a very good set up like you have would cost $$$$ but well worth it. Where on the internet can you find that kind of engine? Any help thanks in advance and EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!! Keep it coming....Aloha!!!!
I have seen a schinn form comfort seat with a tail light built-in and your ride is sweeeet Marcus
Thanks
@@LifeofMarcus I did pull the trigger for the seat from USA , thanks Marcus
Nice review and finally one with a good expansion pipe!
I found that you overpayed the welder by allot, i create expansion pipes for my 2 stroke toys and tools with a oxy acy torch all the time, if i would live near you i would probably do a much better job for less money tbh.
I also found it disapointing that the welder didnt weld a exhaust bracket to fix it to the frame or engine..
None the less great video/review of your nice bike,
I like it but personally i would have gone for a shifter bike and i would also add a silencer on that pipe because with out it the sound is really loud and sharp to the ears
And i would also have gone for a front fork with suspension.
Good video!!
Yeah i do agree with you. After building this i would have changed alot about it
Nice bike and nice video good job man you got another subđ
Thanks
I'm very impressed..love it
Beautiful man!!!!
thx
Beautiful bike awesome set up !âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Thanks
Sounds crispy đ
Great job mate looks awesome
Thanks
You built a beautiful machine Marcusđđđ»âš
Thanks
Im a welder, welded pipe, steel, aluminum, etc., they charged you to much for the welding, dont let that person weld for you any longer.
The only thing that would make it look better would be braided lines and AN fittings. Looks sharp man
Wow man keeps getting better and better !!
I have looked to buy this motor and canât find it any where.. any help here ?
Ryan sells them on his site link is ( rdmanu.com/products/copy-of-case-reed-am6-race-motor?fbclid=IwAR1VssAWlUm3MxUo5zew62dooVhqIJsS_CpyrI5Uv7meeiSfT04SGWAj4aY) this is a complete setup
Thats a hell of a build, man!
Thanks
Have you driven it long distance like camping with it exploring the roads or trails with it I've seen a lot of videos showing some motorized bikes on bike packing some with a predator engine an some with a 2 stroke engine some even got the whole tear drop campers on them some even got the whole basic camping gear setup do you know how long before it runs out of gas miles per gallon top speed weight capacity... is it more then reliable is it durable for dirt bike trails as well same engine same concept same speed same direction
Nope, havenât took it long distance yet, i would stay anything that is hand built is not always reliable. It hasnât been stressed tested.
My bro got this bike hooked up itâs expensive but itâs worth it that bike is fire đ
They can get really expensive. Sometime its not worth it. Its all about the what kind of bike you want at the end
