My favourite bit in these Lego games is that if you play the Death Star level in Free Play, you can actually take the route Obi-Wan takes in the story mode which ends with you fighting Vader in the Death Star hallway.
Also, since in the story mode he’s already fighting Obi-Wan when you enter the room, he’s casually looking at his watch and tapping his feet when you enter in Free Play since Obi-Wan’s not there.
Edit: if any of you try to do this, I recommend using a jet pack character to get over the ledge. Even with Jedi jump it’s pretty difficult to cross.
Also, Vader isn’t a secret boss or anything. The fight’s pretty tame. You know when you get bored and start lightsaber fighting with your cousin in the cantina? Yeah, it’s basically that.

Okay, from what I could find, Padmé’s death sound is a high pitched version of the scream she makes when she gets clawed (game’s wording, not mine) during the battle in the Geonosian arena. What’s weird is that it WAS in the correct pitch in LEGO Star Wars 1, so it’s incredibly baffling how it was inexplicably pitched up for the complete saga release.

The thing I noticed as an adult when playing this game is what makes it so fun is that; everyone has memories of when they would see a movie as a kid and you and your friend or sibling would go play and just reenact the movie. Either outside running around or inside with toys.
And this is a video game that took Legos, that a lot of kids played with and turned what felt like playing in a bedroom with toys and reenacting the movies into a video game where you were actually able to reenact the movies... with Legos. It went full meta for it to combine that toy like feel and imagination into a video game with scenes and characters of the movie and whatnot.
Unrelated to anything but it’s honestly so awesome how the Wii opened up gaming to so many people who had parents who saw it all as being terrible beforehand. It’s not looked on in the best light now but I’d argue it’s one of the most influential consoles ever on that merit alone.
Of course.
It’s only because people apparently care about graphics and M-ratings more than actual gameplay. The fact of the matter is, Nintendo won the seventh-generation of consoles and they’re winning the ninth too (the Switch has already outsold the Wii). Period.
@@Gemnist98 I mean it was literally the one way the Wii was framed at the time as its shortcomings with only No More Heroes and Madworld as the High Profile exceptions. That and it rapidly becoming The Shovelware Console.

Boss Palpatine has more health than Boss Dobby?
How is this possible...
Also, not only do bounty hunters toss Thermal Detonators, when the Extra power "Bounty Hunter Rockets", both Fett characters fire backpack rockets instead of Detonators, which is based on the ONE scene in Episode II while Obi-Wan and Jango Fett are fighting, Jango fires a single rocket and that's it.
Which was based on the original prototype for the Boba Fett action figure, which had a launching rocket. It’s a video game based on a toy referencing a movie referencing a toy. It’s like poetry, sort of. They rhyme.
He forgot: the fetts can *hover* that is the single most important ability ever.
The Boss Dobby bit is an RTGame reference btw

Schaffrillas is out here talking about how Lego Star Wars adapts the movies, but I'm just out here thinking in my head listening to the music:
_And now it's time for Silly Songs with Larry, the part of the show where Larry comes out and sings a silly song. Larry will be performing the traditional Argentinian ballad: The Dance of the Cucumber, in its original Spanish. Bob the Tomato will translate._
Is it weird that I have a version of that song that I edited through Audacity so that it was seamless without Bob's English or any abrupt cutoffs?
@@cti23gy46 nah it's just weird that you haven't posted it
Exactly!
that orange kangaroo rat thing is the most underrated character
¿Miren al tomate, no es triste?
fun fact: the jango, obi-wan, and anakin death sounds were actually sounds they made in attack of the clones
I think the Obi Wan's death sound comes from Phantom Menace before Darth Maul does his backflip
Padme's is when she got scratched by that "Nexu" but higher pitched/sped up
Yoda as well
How was Anakin's death sound made?
I rewatched the movies and jangos death sound is hilarious
Well this is now quite sadder, knowing his brother is dead...😔
When I was a kid playing Lego Star Wars with my younger brother, I would lead us over past the Gonk droid, and, while walking by, press the “Y” button on his controller turning him into the famed slow walker. This was followed by force pushing him into a wall so he couldn’t swap to any other character, I would repeat this process a couple times and then run into a level of my choosing 😂
Gonk.
"oh he's rating the death sounds..."

Fun Fact: there are actually 360 minikits in total so the "200 more minikits than golden bricks" is 100% accurate
And yet, you can't get all the Gold Bricks without all the Minikits
10 minikits in each of 6 levels in each of 6 movies is so much replayability, even without factoring characters, extras, challenge mode, red and gold bricks

When you spend over 500 hours on this game just hear Yoda's death grunt
I remember as a kid playing this with my dad and laughing so hard at IG-88's death noise, it was by far my favorite, and my dad thought it was funny too until he realised he had to stop me from killing myself as IG88 and making us loose all our studs.

Not mentioning the torture that was the podracing level is criminal
The original version of the level is the only one that's really difficult, though it is included as a bonus level in the Complete Saga
I remember my little brother asking me to do that level for him because I was such a pro and omg did it boost my fragile ego
@Evan Jon I did it first try yesterday. I thought it was easy
i'll be honest, that one is fun. it's just hard to beat. zooming around in a lego podracer is just plain awesome
