- The news that Bob Saget died from a “massive head injury” is hitting home for another stand-up comic. Fifty-one-year-old Heather McDonald was performing for a sold-out crowd when she suddenly became dizzy. She fainted on stage, cracking her head on the stage with a sickening sound. Her injuries were eerily similar to Bob Saget’s, but she went to the emergency room. Mystery still surrounds what Saget hit his head on. Police have closed the investigation, so the question may never be answered.
I was once working at an assisted living home, I heard screams of help coming down the hallway, I ran to each door opened all of them and checked until the last one, I see one of my ladies on the floor bleeding holding her arm, She was 98 blind confused and scared, I was too I was 19 at the time, I ran away to go get help and I ran back and sat with her until help came. I had to force the facility to bring her to the hospital that night because I could tell she was slurring her words, she just wasn’t the same, she went to the hospital overnight they said if she was in bed alone at the facility she would’ve died. She had a stroke. she’s still alive today. Be aware and speak up!

My older cousin fell and hit his head when he was playing tennis, and he went to the hospital, but they didn't find anything serious. He was dead 3 days later.

There was a British tourist - a young guy who was on holiday in Thailand I believe. He tripped up a kerb and fell over, then got up feeling ok. He died in his sleep that night. I don't believe the doc when he says nothing in a hotel room can cause head trauma - he could have literally tripped over his own trousers and fallen, catching his head on a furniture edge.

I feel in my own shower once. It was a new apartment and tub floor was extremely slick. Literally had to pull down the shower curtain to break my fall. Ot happened so fast but I was so close to smashing my head on that tub floor.

Yup and my entire family got their vaccinations and boosters (including my 89 year old mother who is legally blind, has a pacemaker, fights a chronic infection, and is disabled) and you'll never guess what happened to us...... Absolutely nothing. We're all fine. Oh except we're not in the ICU fighting to breathe. After all of her vaccinations, amazingly my mother is still legally blind, has a pacemaker, is fighting a chronic infection, and is disabled. I'm more concerned about her underlying health conditions than I am about a perfectly safe vaccination.

I never cared much for Bob Saget, but if he was my brother, I'd be demanding the police investigate this. His skull was severely cracked from the front to the back, and from the back to the front. That's not some simple slip and fall. Something's not right here, it sounds like the family doesn't want it looked into.

Just seems like a lot of things in this don’t add up. I mean wouldn’t he have noticed an injury to his head if he had literally fractured his skull. A concussion is one thing, but he had major fractures. Also, for someone to hit their head that hard, I would think if it was on a surface, except for like the marble or maybe tile, it would’ve maybe left something on the furniture. Or maybe blood or something. Seems like the police need to do a deeper search.

The photo shows several bumps on the ba k of his head, side of his head, and top of his head. Hes been hit over the head and murdered THEN, put into bed! Check the cameras in the hotel..At the door, in the hall, or elevator. Do a 2nd autopsy, PLEASE! A few weeks before he had been interviewed, and eerily said, you will probably find me in bed DEAD. Was he fearing for his life? His net worth was well over 200 million at his time of death. Who wanted him dead? You dont get all those injuries from falling and hitting your head. A dr said the injuries were like hed fallen 30 feet onto his head. Back, top, and right side...Thats murder!! IMO...
As someone who had a hard fall in a hotel shower and nearly dislocated my jaw, I’d beg to differ with the doctor who says hotels have no ways to do that.

That tile floor looks really hard if you landed and hit yourself on it. The daughter of a family friend slipped and hit her head in the shower and ended up passing away from the hit. She was only in her 30’s.
Too many questions. This needs to be investigated with law enforcement; get footage of his last moments hotel check-in, did anyone ever go into his room, pull the cameras, last appearance footage, did he say anything about a head injury to his friends or his wife, pull phone and text records, and etc. The case should be re-opened. Anything else seems like gossip. Without proper investigation this is why people start to create sacrifice conspiracy theories. How is this case closed?!

I had a coworker with a severe brain Injury from hitting her head getting into or out of the car. It really doesn't take as much as you think like getting hit by a car or falling off a ladder it can happen in your own home. Can think not much of it but go to sleep and as the slow bleed builds up can put you into a coma and die before you ever even knew something was seriously wrong.
Brain injury is much different from skull bashing.
I fell and hit my head on concrete years ago. I suffered a major concussion but I thought I was ok. All I wanted to do is sleep. My sister witnessed my fall and she knew that I needed medical attention so she kept me awake and I was rushed to the hospital. I collapsed in the emergency room and fell to the floor, thereby hitting my head again. Luckily, I was admitted to the hospital and treated for a head injury. I now suffer from severe migraine headaches but at least I survived. So, it is very important to go to the hospital when you hit your head, even if you feel ok. It sounds like Bob probably would have survived had he not gone to sleep but got medical attention. But, other theories as to what happened to him have surfaced and we may never know what really happened. I pray that Bob rests peacefully and my prayers go out to his family and friends. 🙏❤️
Similar scenario- uncle who is 6’ 3” bumped his head on the doorframe of his car.. didn’t think anything of it but 1 week later had terrible headaches and lost control of his legs.. he was rushed to the hospital and was immediately sent into emergency surgery-massive brain bleed and a badly fractured skull. He is very lucky to survive. It is quite possible he bumped his head some time before, but didn’t think it was that bad and brain bleeds can be slow, like my uncle’s.

Thanks for mentioning. I hope to be more watchful next time I bump my head. Every once in a while, I accidentally bump it on something metal. 🥴 Hope to never do that again. Also, guess we should pay good attention to others when they bump their heads too, because they may think they're just fine and not be. So glad he survived! Praise the Lord.

She had fallen and hit her head. Her brain bleed was stopped w/medication (she required stitches to the back of her head). Thank goodness my step-dad was w/her. RIP Bob... 🙏🌌💜

Similar situation with Liam Neeson's wife, the actress Natasha Richardson. She hit her head hard during a ski accident, but refused medical assistance. She appeared fine at first but was rushed to a hospital a few hours later and died a couple of days later, due to brain bleed.

Heart disease ran in his family for all we know his blood pressure could have spiked or dropped causing him to faint. He could have been over worked and tired, maybe not have eaten anything that day and the same result would happen.

She had recently been boosted and Dr. Drew explained to her that he doesn't know what's going on with the boosters but some people seem to be having a very difficult time with them and they're causing a variety of side effects like fainting. That's not me saying that. That's Dr. Drew. If you have an issue with it, talk to him. I'm just curious if maybe Bob fainted and that's how he got the bumps.

He may have had a pretty good post-show adrenaline rush going too. It's unfortunately way common for men in their 50s-60s to not realize they need immediate medical attention. Also unsure if he was a drinker, because that can mask pain too.

Several neurosurgeons admitted having serious doubts. This kind of injury is seen after severe accidents - sure, he could have had one outside, but that doesn't explain how he was able to get into bed afterwards, with a fractured skull. This happened to my boyfriend once, he fell down an escalator and had similar injuries, but he fell unconscious immediately. If it's true that such head trauma can't happen in a simple fall, then how did he get into his room - or was someone else involved?

I was a police detective for over 20 years! Typically when there is trauma to more than one side of the head that is an indication of a homicide!
I had a friend whose estranged husband was involved in shady things (trafficking). That happened to him. He was strong as an ox truck driver. They were saying he fell in his apartment. She asked for an autopsy and they said "No"...she asked the hospital for his clothes. They said they didn't have them. She came back the next day and they handed her his laundered clothes.

How would a 6'4" 225 65 y.o. man have a fall from a standing position that hit something with such force and velocity that it caused such massive fractures to his skull, but not injure any other part of his body? I wish an orthopedic surgeon would have weighed in. He would have reflexively tried to break his fall, and there would've been injuries to his wrists, hands, elbows, hip, or legs. There would have been contusions, other hematoma such as in his leg. My mom fell off a dining chair that she was standing on and had a hematoma from her hip to her ankle. It's really a question of physics as well. Would a fall from the height of 6'4" be sufficient to have caused such massive injuries? And also, how would he have been able to get up, climb into bed and neatly arrange himself under the covers, with his left arm crossing his heart?

I would say - bathrooms can be deadly, my bro had a colleague on an overseas trip who went to the bathroom of his hotel room after dinner and slipped, hit the back of his head on the edge of the sink, no blood or visible bruising at that point. He told his roommate it wasn’t too bad and he’ll just sleep it off. The next morning he was stone cold, dead from a fractured skull and massive brain bleed. Very sad, he was a fit 32yo due to be married the next month. Instead, they buried him two weeks before what was supposed to be his wedding day.

This makes me kind of mad that my parents never took us to the doctor for anything. When I was about 9, I had one of those banana seat bikes. Went up the curb, but I was sitting too far back and lost my balance. The bike flew back and I cracked (not literally) the back of my head off the pavement. Hurt so bad.

My husband had the same injuries this Dr was stating; frontal lobe, occipital lobe, and temporal lobe fractures due to a fall from a height of 15 ft. He was not expected to live but did. He was in the hospital for 42 days.

How do they know that someone didn’t hit him several times and lay him in his bed. Unless there was cameras outside his room, idk how they know it was accidental.

No, Mr Saget was murdered. No fall, no accidentally hitting of the head would produce (3) skull fractures to (3) different locations to his skull. Only a fall from 20-30 ft would produce this type of injury or someone hitting Saget from the back of his head in an ambush style killing, then stricking him on the side of his head and then just above his eye socket. The assailant placed Sagets body in the up position with arm across chest. I believe his wife had him killed. His wife is now trying to keep any further information from getting out to the public.

It isn't that he couldn't have seriously injured his head with a fall in a hotel, it's the fact the back of his skull was literally shattered and he had fractures all the way to the front of his skull. Like it was hit with a baseball bat.

I remember in 8th grade science my Science teacher had a massive seizure in the middle of class, uckily he fell on some students desk so he didn't hit his head hard. He came back a few months later telling us he was greatful for the seizure because he found out he had brain cancer. It was so scary though.

As a former Home Health Aide, I have had to assist clients into and out of tubs/showers so as to prevent serious accidents that can also cause blunt traumas to the head. I believe as large and tall as he is, I think he fell forward possibly hitting his head on the showerhead knocking him backwards in the shower then temporarily passed out, got back up but didn't realize how severe his accident was and just went got in the bed. There is a video where Mr. Saget predicted from his on mouth that he would be found in dead bed; so he may have had unwitnessed accidents in the shower before and said nothing about them. My condolences to the family. RIP Mr. Saget.

The amount of force required to fracture the occipital bone is much greater than the amount of force needed to scrape your hands, break your wrists, or injure your elbows when you try to brace yourself from a fall. It's not adding up. They should have consulted with an orthopedic surgeon as well as a neurosurgeon.
@@carollipton4584 There had to have been bruising no matter how it happened. Also, there had to be a contusion of some sort. We know he had bruising around his eye sockets. A flat fall onto a marble floor with no hands to catch the fall could produce his injuries. Remember, he was 6'5". If he fell backwards onto the marble he could easily have sustained those injuries.
Decades ago, a famous actor, Jeff Hunter had a fall in his home and died as well.

Just this week, both my husband and I fell at different times and due to different reasons. My husband ended up in the ER with a brain bleed. I was lucky, just a bloody and bruised nose. He slipped on ice & I fell and hit my face on the edge of furniture. For both of us, it happened so fast and hurt like hell. We consider ourselves very lucky to still be alive.

I once gave myself a concussion by squatting down then suddenly standing up underneath the kitchen cabinets. Rang my bell so hard I had hallucinations. I was very lucky it wasn't worse. My point being head trauma can happen anywhere.

After much badgering by my wife, yes. At first I refused to go and laid down in bed. After a while I thought I heard her cooking; I specifically smelled the aroma of frying bacon coming from the kitchen. I staggered to the kitchen and found it empty and the stove cold. My wife was sitting on the couch reading a book. I asked her where was the bacon she was cooking; she looked sideways at me and told me to get in the car or she would call 911 for an ambulance. All the way to the ER, the triage, and the examining room, I could smell bacon everywhere. The doctor was concerned but fortunately my head scan was clear. Relieved, he laughed and said the next time I have hallucinations to call him and we'll go have some BLTs together! 😂
I suddenly feel lucky to have survived my kitchen cabinets. I have more than once stood up only to slam into a cabinet. I just laughed it off due to embarrassment. I think I will take it more seriously from now on.

My mom was dehydrated from the flu. One moment she was talking to me and the next she just collapsed in the bathroom. I ran in and she was laying there unresponsive. I called 9/11 immediately. She started trying to move and I told her not to even get up. She ended up messing up two disks in her neck, getting a severe concussion, and getting a black eye.
Bob Saget had COVID at time of death. There is evidence that a symptom of COVID is low blood pressure, which can cause dizziness upon standing, and can result in trips and falls.
I had Covid last month and one of my early symptoms was dizziness. I got out of my truck and I started feeling dizzy like I had been spun around. I didn’t know I was sick from Covid until I started having other symptoms and got tested.
The same thing happened to a childhood friend of mine! Her death still haunts me to this day and I think about it constantly. She was really smart, took AP classes all throughout high school, never drank or partied & that was partially due to the fact that her parents were SUPER SUPER STRICT! It was either her first or second week of college when she went out drinking with her friends, fell backward and hit her head on the sidewalk and died that night. I know this has nothing to do with Bob Saget but I always think, maybe if she drank a bit in high school like the rest of us and didn't go ALL out when she arrived to college, she would still be alive today. All that hard work in high school was for nothing and I always wonder where she would have been today if this didn't happen. So so tragic. If you hit your head, please go to the hospital! It's better to be safe than sorry.

Its not easy to fracture your skull. Its very strong. Hitting your head getting in or out of a car, or bumping it on the trunk lid doesn't seem likely, especially multiple fractures. And it would be extremely painful, certainly to the point that any rational person would know they needed to go to the hospital.

I agree. I've been assaulted twice with my head bashed into cement until I passed out. I survived with no visible trauma. Something sounds odd to me in his case, and I'm incredibly lucky.
my brother sister in law died like that. she was around 24 years old and healthy. her husband said she closed the trunk but it hit her head. she was ok but later during the night she wouldn't respond.

Man I fell on my roller blades while not wearing a helmet. I hit m head so hard my left arm,hand and leg was tingling. Felt like got hit with a bat. I fell while skating a park. Wide sidewalks. My body fell on the grass that was lower grade than the side walk...my head hit the con concete..hard. I try to stay aware of my surroundings. While I was approaching the area I fell, I noticed a young dude resting by a tree. When I fell I was gonna lay it off for a bit but my body going numb made me say "help". I had my hand on my head so when I removed it he saw the huge knot on the back of head. He started asking me questions to make sure I was conscious. What's my name what's 2+2...asked if I needed 911..told him if I start shaking call em....got my self together enough for him to be able to help me up and sat down for a bit. A lady past by and gave me some water then I skated back to my truck lol....never got checked tho...prolly should go get checked🤔....ok I'm done. Bye.
With his injuries now revealed and the rumors circulating, it really makes you wonder how such serous head trauma could’ve occurred. It’s an unfortunate mystery we’ll never truly know. A possibility I though of is if he had a sudden loss of consciousness and fell backward into a hard counter top, bedpost, or end table. The type of injuries sustained left him concussed, very confused, and unable to think clearly. Concussions make you very lethargic which is probably why he wanted to get himself into bed. Just such a freak accident we’ll never truly get the answer to.

Seeing this might end up saving someone else's life. I could see myself hitting my head and thinking it hurts but it isn't that big of a deal and telling myself if it still hurts tomorrow I will go to the Dr and get it checked out. Now I think Id get it checked out and Not go to sleep.
