    Hi Tess great video really digging the bike and the awesome scenery. Quick questions as your 5 foot 4" can you still ride the medium with the dropper fully extended ? and how did you find the reach ? did you feel you were lent over to much,or that your arms didn't have enough bend ?
    Regards T x

    I am curious if the wheels from TRYP 30c are good enough for the bike. what is your experience on them? are you satisfied?

    Tess, that was a fantastic review, very detailed, loved it. I was wondering how the 29er wheels feel for you, because we are the same height. I just bought a 2020 Giant Trance 29er, and havent ridden it yet do to snow where I live. Just want to know how the 29er feels to ride as a shorter stature person like me

    • @slopesripper
      @slopesripper Před 3 lety

      @bikerdhill Good point from you. I think, 27,5 inch wheels would b better option for Tess, as far as playfulnes/finesse of the Laufey goes.

    Thanks for good video! I got the Laufey H10 two weeks ago. The big difference between this and a lighter hardtail is the ability to run wider tyres . Maybe I can fit 3 inch wide 29 tyres. Now I use 2.8 inch wide spiked tyres which was great on 4 cm deep snow.

      Hi, could you tell me, if you could fit those fat 3" ? How is it ? I am looking for a bike, and can buy an H10 with the Z2 bomber fork, or the stoic for even more "bomby" riding with a RockShox Pike Select, I believe the Stoic is fittable with 3",atleast some of them.

    If you liked the wider tires on the Orbea Laufey you might try a little wider tires on your IBIS with a better tread pattern for your riding than the Rekons.

      My Laufey (old one in 27.5+) weighs 31.97 pounds. Never a problem. Been looking to lose some pounds on the bike, but was cheaper to lose some extra pounds on the body :-). Great bike. Had a Specialized Crave in 29 before, but never so much fun as on the Orbea. Would like to compare the old one and the new one.

    In my searches, some 2.6 tires measure out to 2.4-2.5 no matter the rim & WTB has one or two 2.6 tires that measure out 2.7 on most rims. Worth measuring into as friend found out their 2.8 tire measure out actually to 2.5 & they have wide rims. It seems like one of the little know secrets is bike tire manufactures have very lax tolerances for width.
