The Best NFL Player of Every Decade - Sport
Meant to say "Jim Brown was the only NON-quarterback" at 6:05. Our mistake haha!
NFL AGAIN?
He did!😂
Dk
Hey who edits your videos
Lol
Well jim brown is a quarterback now apparently.
Yes now a guy that retired more than 50 years ago has changed positions that totally makes sense
he didnt mean to
I’m guessing maybe it’s a typo on the script.
Read pinned comment
Fun fact as a kid I went to the same school (H.S turned elementary school ) as Mean Joe Greene and grew up in the same town the man is a legend and has his own field man was a beast
1980s might be the most difficult era to decide. Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Lawrence Taylor, Jerry Rice, etc.
For me, it’s LT. Mike Haynes also deserves a shoutout.
My uncle gave me a Lawrence Taylor rookie

LT is the best of the 80s
LT
Did he just call jim brown a quarterback?
I literally just saw that then looked at the comments lol
Yep lmao. Technically Jim Brown was listed as a Fullback.
Yah I herd that
Yes yes he did
Yeah I looked at comments as soon as he said that
Ah yes, Jim Brown. The best Quarterback of the 60's.
😂😂
yessir
@Ethan G it’s a reference to the typo in the script at 6:04
If Jim Brown told me he was the greatest QB of the 60s ... I wouldn’t argue.
He would be no match for the greatest tackler ever... Joe Montana.
Nobody:
Tom Brady:🤚✌️
You said that Jim Brown was a Quarterback 6:01
Yea lmao
He meant yo say our only non quarterback on the list

YES IM SO GLAD U INCLUDE OTTO! EVERYBODY FORGETS HIM
I don’t I knew about him before
Brady dominated the 2000's and Manning.
Tom Brady takes 2000 and the 2010 Brady had 3 rings to manning 1 ring held the touchdown passing record and had the most wins overall.
He will probably take 2020s aswell
Super Bowl wins are a team accomplishments. Outside of 2007, Peyton was far better in the 2000s.
Makes no sense…. Better include how many rings every player has when comparing them to another play of same position. (So by that logic: Eli Manning >>> Aaron Rodgers & Drew Brees
One guy had waay more MVPs - - Sheriff Peyton
@@Ballsohard_97Brady had the Super Bowl MVPs.
1990s if Barry Sanders played on a halfway decent team, the NFL would have had to just fold cause he would have been unstoppable if defenses couldn’t stack the box. Even then, he was barely stoppable.
As a Lions fan growing up I saw him play every week. No lie, some of his most jaw dropping runs ended up being 2 yard losses. It took the whole defense to finally corner him. Lol
Also he quit in his prime
@@JayTide Walter Payton was much better than Barry Sanders
Don Hudson was insane and underrated during his time, and no one knows about how he played multiple positions and was so successful. i appreciate you having him on the list. AND Otto Graham! AND Jim Brown!
For me personally the 80's and 90's need two each.
80's. Joe Montana and Lawrence Taylor.
90's. Jerry rice and Barry Sanders.
You know they know nothing about football when you see in the thumbnail, Joe Montana is standing in front of the Chiefs logo.

Did you watch Peyton in the 2000’s ? I know you love Brady but he wasn’t better than Manning in the 2000’s
@Boss Killa having more rings doesn’t mean he played better Manning was the best QB in the 2000’s anybody watching football back then will tell you that
@@semionjohnson1351 agreed
Tell me youre a casual without telling me youre a casual.
Manning had a better season than Brady practically every year other than 07
Thanks man I really appreciate you for doing this even tho I didn’t ask you to
I'd argue that Lawrence Taylor was the best player of the 80's. He literally changed the way teams ran their offences, became only the second defensive player to be named MVP, earned a record 3 DPOY awards, and was selected to 8 First Team All-Pro teams. I love Montana but come on, the 80's was Lawrence Taylor.
They should have done offense and defense. LT, Reggie White and Ray Lewis all belong here
Andre Tippett was EVERY BIT as good, or even better than Lawrence Taylor. If you took the time to study the both of them, and ACTUALLY look at Tippett's stats, you'd know this. But LT got all of the glory because he played for Bill Parcels, and the Giants, in the Big Apple - the media center of America. In the meantime, Tippett was playing for some terrible New England teams, and he didn't have the talent surrounding him on defense that LT had.
COMPARE their stats, and you will see VERY similar numbers, even though Tippett played in 30 less games than LT.
Where’s LT he’s the best defensive player of all time?
exactly what I was thinking. + he called Jim Brown a Quarterback
it’s him vs montana in the 80s and i guess he thought montana was better
@@abdourahmanmahdi1544 they corrected theirselves in the pinned comment dumbass

Montana is better that’s why but I think Any other decade other than 2010 he would’ve won
It’s kind of ironic that joe Montana played for 49ers and chiefs
@@randalmccarthy9795 i guess because they played in the sb idk
How is it Ironic? Cowboys vs Indians?
🤷🏿♂️
For everyone asking why it’s ironic, Joe Montana was the greatest quarterback of all time in NFL history, and he played on two teams that have historically given Tom Brady(the greatest quarterback ever) a hard time.
@@michaelterrell5061 bro that’s not the reason. It’s because they both played in the super bowl last year
Who will be the best of the 2020's?
Henry or mahomes
Cam Newton with a upset
Mahomes
Idk
Mahomes
In the 2020’s there’s so much raw talent I have no clue who to pick. Atm it looks to be Patrick Mahomes but there’s still monsters like Aaron Donald, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Joe Burrowe, Justin Herbert etc to still make a claim.
We love u guys
Brady still won 2 more super bowls than Manning did in the 2000s...and also went undefeated 2007 regular season
Because he had elite defenses that made his life extremely easy. Team accomplishments don't make you a better player. I seriously don't get why more people can't understand this.
Maybe they just didn't want any repeats
@@tedfio1tedfio1 Let's see, the Giants beat them 17-14 in 07 and 21-17 in 2011. Those sound like good defensive performance to me in super bowls. Maybe if Brady hadn't been out clutched by a career .500 QB they could have won those games.
@@tedfio1tedfio1 Good thing Montana stepped up and won those games. Be embarrassing to be considered the best QB of your generation and play 3 flat out bad games in the super bowl. Brady is far from perfect and gets way too much credit.
@@moopert86 Well said. 90% of football fans fall to this idea that team accomplishments > individual ones.

I would have chosen LT for the 80's, but Montana was a great choice too
For the 1980’s it should’ve of been Lawrence Taylor
Individually yes, Montana was successful with a great TEAM
I would’ve liked to see offense and defense for each decade.

R.I.P. Jim Brown
LT got the 80s hands down
4-0 SB record, 3 SB MVP'S, 0 INT'S in those 4 SB wins, highest postseason QBR in the history of the league (1989), 2 NFL MVP's, led the Niners to an 18-1 record capped with a win in Super Bowl XIX... IDGAF what anyone says, that man is the greatest Qb to ever wear an NFL uniform...Joe The G.O.A.T....
6-3 SB record, 4 SB MVP’S, less than 200 total ints in 20 years, 44 playoff games played, 3 NFL MVPs, Led the Patriots to an 18-1 record in 2007. Over half of the stats you listed Brady has done better
@@adrianpena800if montana had the protection of modern football he would have better numbers than brady. Defense’s literally resorted to sending joe to hospital to win the game come playoffs. Look up the stats on that. And regular season took its toll naturally too.
Different sport now, especially for qbs. Cannot compare.

Brady was, by far, the best in the 2000s, 2010s, and it seems like he might be in the 2020s again. This list is missing Johnny Unitas.
Don’t forget Joe Namath.
Bart Starr
Nahhh definently not 2020s, even if he wins in SB 57 he’d retire in 2023 and have 2 SBs in this decade and there are other QBs that could win in the next 7 years

Brady was so much greater than Manning in the 2000s
Red Grange went to the high school in Wheaton illinois which is the same one I went too. The football field is named after him.

10 years from now: 2020's Patrick Mahomes!
Aron Donald sped
I'm not a Chiefs fan, but the 2020s are absolutely looking like Mahomes' decade. To have accomplished all the things he has in only 3 years as a full-time starter is incredible. Barring injury or something else unforeseen, the 20s will probably be his decade.
@@flibbidyx2 ur so stupid people think that he’s the best defensive player of all time he is much better than mahomo
@@owenwondrash5058 Best defensive player ever? Lawrence Taylor would like a word with you. Listen, Aaron Donald is amazing, but QB is the most important position in the game. That's even more true in the modern era, where the rules favor the passing game. To have an MVP, Super Bowl ring (and SB MVP) and now making another SB appearance in just 3 years as a starter is almost unheard of. There's a reason they just gave Mahomes mountains of cash.
Otto Graham’s numbers were that good for that long for a running QB?
Brady deserved both 2000’s and 2010’s
For the 2020’s I’m going with Pat Mahones

The object of any game is to win. Last time I checked, Manning won one ring in the 2,000's (with superior skill position players around him). Brady won SB XXXVI, then back-to-back 14 win seasons (and last back-to-back titles) in '03 & '04. Manning's great regular season stats bely the fact that he was mediocre in the clutch.
