This is the first video I watched from this channel. It crossed my mind that they did it on purpose. You will always remember this is the one you watched.
I just started working as floor associate at Home Depot and im watching your videos so that I can be better at helping customers đ
Damn they ainât train u? đ€Ł
â@drulamane The requirements to work at lowes, home depot etc are a pulse and a clean drug test.
99.999% of the people working in those places know NOTHING about anything they sell...
And the companies aren't wasting money to train people...
Same lmao
5 minutes into the video I decided to hire somebody to re-tile our bathrooms. Your video made me appreciate the amount of workmanship into tile work a lot more.
Same lmao
Same lol
Its enjoyable...until you are in your late 60's. Gonna have to rebook my acupuncturist and massage therapist soon. !
I think this is the most detailed Iâve seen and you covered every step. Thanks!
Your editing skills are FANTASTIC! You have the same ideology as most children shows..lots of transitions perfectly timed for right when my attention span goes out. Keeps me interested. I love it! I think Iâm going to do my tile job on my own.
The consistency of tile that you are doing throughout your house is really nice. Thank you for showing common obstacles and how to overcome them with simple solutions, as well as other ways to solve a problem when a tool happens to fail. The house projects are looking great! Keep up the great work and well-produced videos to make the process much less intimidating.
Great job Tyler. Good info. I have one suggestion. Knee pads. Take it from a 62 year old that didn't use them. My knees are not in good shape.
I saw him wearing knee pads at one point. But yes definitely good advice!
Knee pads or a knee pad. For sure a requirement. This coming from a 42yr old hvac guy
Thanks for this. I just bought tile for my whole house and I haven't tiled before. I was going to do hardwood, but I got the tile at a steal.
Excellent video, about to re tile our entryway and haven't layed tile in about 15 years so this was a great refresher!
Thank you for taking your time to explain why youâre doing each step but also keeping the video concise! Feeling much more confident!!
I am looking at these videos to prepare for my future
Thanks Tyler, I just installed my first tile floor and your guidance help me a lot
You didn't only install the tiles, also made a craft out of it đ I thoroughly enjoyed when watching your skills and tips at building the tiles. CONGRATULATIONS
Well done! Thanks for the refresher. I've installed tiles before but you reminded me of a few tips that I had forgotten like having fresh water around at all times and not using the dirty part of the sponge on the tile with grout. Doing a tile job today. Appreciate the refresher. God bless. đ
Thank you. I have an unexpected tiling project for our remodel. My cousin gave me this video and I feel much more confident about what I have to do. Thank you!
Looks like you're living up to your name again! DIY Tiler! Hehe! Great job as always, Tyler!
Well done Tyler! Impressive detailed instructions. Definitely subscribing to your channel. Videos like yours are the reason I ever downloaded CZcams. Please keep up the great work!!! Thank you!!!
Tyler, your enthusiasm and clear friendly instructions make you a jewel in the diy world. Just see on shining!
What kinda board was that you layed
Best diy tile work Iâve ever watched. Wonderful and detailed job
Best no BS video about how to tile fo DIY'ers I have seen to date. Thanks man!
I'm going to tile an outside fountain and this information is really helpful for cutting round sides of a tile. Great job.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. Ditra really is a phenomenal project. Great work, and attention to detail!
Tyler, honestly...this was amazing! Thank you.
Tyler just a heads up, the toilet valve looks to be a threaded type. So you do have some options and I would suggest to use the ball type not gate type of shut off valve since the gate type will eventually stick (sometimes) then when you go to shut it off then it can start to leak. Anyway, after replacing all my gate type shut off valves with the ball type (they do make them nice chrome so they don't look any different) it makes toilet or faucet repairs so much easier.
Yeah I was going to mention that water inlet was actually a compression fitting and threads on and off
Thank you for showing us in basic terms. Your job turned out beautiful . Keep up the instructional videos .
Im very impressed with your video. Great communication and organized. Thank you
Thanks for the info. I happen to be putting down 6X24 tiles with wood grain pattern. I just picked your video at random. Time to lay some tile in my new cabin. I did wood floor yesterday.

Excellent video! I learned so much. Thank you.
Perfectly done, love it.
Hey, thanks for teaching us Mr. Tyler!
Very enjoyable watch ....You did an amazing Job... Floor looks great .
Man, dude! You make this look so easy.
Amazing work !!
Impressed onceâs again. Like youâre stile. Greetings from Norway by Koos
Awesome video. Thank you. I feel confident that I can do it. Yay!
The colder the water the slower it sets, and more open time. And you need diamond grit hole saws for porcelain tile. The laser is cool but it's quite easy to just measure over and make a pencil mark on the set tile to line up your next one.
I will be saving this video to use it when I tile my house. Very good tutorial!
Good video. Clear explanations without talking too much.
Thanks, I had questions around the toilet and water feed thanks for posting man.
Real good. The tip on how to use the sponge is worth the price of admission alone.
Nice job! I have to do tile tomorrow and I hope I can make it right like that Iâve never done it before
Thanks Tyler. This was very helpful!
Wow, great work. I have the exact same tiles but in 8x48. đ
So Tyler became a tiler. Iâll see myself out.
That floor is very well done. Iâll have to give this a try myself when we redo our floors.
The fact that your name is tyler makes this 10x better
Hi Tyler thank you ,bought some wood oak effect porcelain tile for my kitchen do I need any specialise flexible adhesive for grout? I it difficult to get a colour beige can normally grout be used?

Good job
Ah, man, Tyler... If my wife sees this I'm ruined, haha... If she does, I'm flying you to Vermont to do ours! Phenomenal work, solidly built and looks great!
So did he work there?
Hi:
1) How many hours did it take you to do this floor?
2) How many hours do you think it would take a guy who has never laid tile to do the same job?
3) Is it easier to tile with 4x4 inch tiles rather than those much larger pieces you used? What are the pros and cons of using smaller tiles vs larger pieces. (Some tile is 24x48 inches! And $50-$80 each, so I would hate to damage those. And it seems it would be difficult to use a tile saw with such large pieces.
4) when laying travertine should I fill in all the tiny holes with grout or leave them open?
5) could someone use a pastry bag with the grout? And squeeze the grout into place? So you don't have to wash that grout haze off--- like 4 or 5 times. It seems a never ending process to get the tile clean at the end. Any tips on that, getting the tile clean? So you aren't washing the floor over and over and over!
6) if tiling a shower should the tiles be a different size on the floor vs the walls? Style wise, would it look better? What would you do in your shower: Use different size tiles on the floor and walls, or use the same size on both surfaces?
Thanks a bunch for your insights!
Thanks dude. It looks GREAT. That helped a lot.

Hello and thanks for the vid. I must redo the bathroom and I need to water proof and set tile. Do I need spacers of both 1/8 and 3/16. Or can I just use 3/16?
