This whole series on the F30 from the beginning has been great. Love to see Matthew ducking in now and then.
Thanks man, wish I had more time to play and less to go to work haha
I’m still loving this project. I can’t wait to see the final results!👍🏻
Yup me too, kinda exciting
Idk about you but man this was so satisfying to watch
Haha glad you enjoyed
Once again Nick, you totally redeemed yourself. Super clean install on the noise reduction stuff. She's coming along!! Great episode!! 👍😉👌💪
Thanks man
Ayy up Nick,Another good vlog
I identify as a prius on the Truck 😁😁 love this guy
That is a classic.
That is a classic.
My Prius identifies as a Diesel
Can't wait to hear what she sounds like after it's all put back together.
Me too
Any before and after impressions?? You’re the man Nick!
Looking good my friend 🔥
Thanks
I've seen people make a shift boot out of the sound deadener for there floor shifter and that really does a number on sound from through there. Just goes right under the stock shift boot. I know this is pretty much tied up now but it's not a hard area to get to.
Me gusta la renovasion
One can really see that you have tried a few times now Nick
Quickly and securely mounted 👍👌
Haha yup
When will your next dash swap video be posted?
Was it easy to know where you had to splice on wire harnesses
Looking fresh boii
Thx
Did you ever progress any further than episode 4 on the dash install? Looking to do pretty much all the same conversions you're doing on my truck, only mine is not a dually. Great videos man, keep it up.
Looks pretty awesome!!
Does the thickness of the sound deadening interfere with the fitment of the ceiling liner?
Good job sir!
Thank you
very talented and patient
Thanks you
If you can make the original dash pad fit I would definitely keep it. If you dont you will always be wondering if you couldve made it quieter haha.
Yup lol
Once you got it all back together was it worth it to take all that out and do the Kilmat? Been watching a few videos and get mixed reports, but you are the first I’ve seen to add nioco as well
Does this just install or is there any modification and did you use the mcnasty kit
Does the panels fit alot tighter after using that?
Probably an obvious question, but I am wondering how you dealt with the a/c lines when you removed the hvac for the truck? Do you have to evacuate the refrigerant? How hard are those lines to disconnect/reconnect?
👍
Are you going to use the newer Column with the Column helper as well? Your video's have been super helpful as I am getting ready to attempt this as well.
Yes I will, received the column helper, Will start in this soon
I forgot to mention, living on wheels has the noise test of before and after on his truck so u might want to compare to that. It's on his video when he installed killmat
Unfortunately not quite as simple of a compare since I am running single shots and he still has split shots. I anticipate his truck will be a lot quieter than mine is.
@@LivingOnWheels yeah ur probably right....I know the truck sounds much more krispy...but haven't noticed a noise difference in mine
We see what results I get
I'd put it back on, if it fits ok. The more the merrier!
I agree
To replace the dashboard this is not something i would do but
ou have encouraged me to sound insulate my truck I have 01 250 7.3
Honest if you have a set of hands pull the dash, one person it’s tougher yes
@@FixItNick yes and if I would do the same as you then it would be very expensive for me because I would have to order everything and have it sent to Europe
The results?
Naw I’d leave it out. Don’t see it being any better with installed!! Other than in the way...
Did you ever finish this ?
I’m continuing again now, sorry put it aside for a while had way to much going on in life lol
na leave it off
