This video is 🎉👏🏻love the drill and explanation of this. By far one of the best golf videos I have seen in years!!!!!! ❤
Love this
This is an excellent lesson. Thank you

Awesome drill. It's something that I struggle with. Thanks so much!
Happy to help!
Brilliant 😊
Jon! An excellent video on properly release of the club. I like your recommendation of a swing that is in to out and out to in to get the release. I think too often I take the club on a straight back and straight through motion. I know better and that it should be on a arc motion. I'll have to pay more attention! Good Job Jon!
Thanks John. Hope you’ve had a great Christmas. Keep up the practice in 2023
Wish I had known this years ago.
Hope it helps! Swinging at the target is an issue for a lot of golfers!
Can you make one video with overhead view to see how club is moving in relation to body?
Yeah I would like to, need to find out how to mount on the ceiling. Not sure it would be zoomed out enough with ceiling height also!
What happens in backswing? Is it same forming an arc?
Yeah, the hands and club need to follow a slight inward arc. Ideally with the Clubhead outside the hands in the first move.
Same wit driver?
Yes, although as longer shaft, clubhead further from body, the club won’t move as inward as quickly but same feel!
Nice. A neglected part of the swing.
Inside to inside ?
Yeah, in to square to in is a very neutral arc. Depends on what shape you’re trying to achieve though!
It would be nice to see overhead view?
increase your recorded volume
Maybe an issue your end? It’s plenty loud enough on half volume on all everything I’ve viewed on and not an issue anyone else has raised.
Yes I agree. I am watching on a laptop. CZcams volume is max and I have increased the laptop volume almost to max. However, I can hear it and the the video instruction is very good. I have recently found the courage to use this passive release exactly as described, and it has transformed my ball striking to a level I never thought I could ever achieve.
I have wasted so may years with hands being too active resulting in the flip. I cant believe the difference this method can make for full shots are chipping.
