All audience were cheering for Barty/Bertens but Hsieh/Strycova manage the pressure and win the match, that's what we call fighting spirit.
They were able fight against all odds... the audience was even against them. Awesome win!!

Greatness til the end. It had everything. Long crosscourt rallies, short volley rallies, scrambling and trick shots. And you didn't know who was going to win in the end. GREAT pick
To lose the first set 6-3, up in the second set 4-2 and you got a chance to make it 5-2, only to find yourself going to a tie breaker. Barely win that 9-7 and to win the 10 point tie breaker. That is strong and mentally tough.

Love watching little half pint Barra 🐝 So quick and has to be one of the fittest on tour along with a killer volley. Also both Hseih and Barra together are just perfect.

I'm fifteen minutes into the video and realized what a delightful viewing experience I was having. Then realized it's because there are no commentators saying inane things! 😂 Give me Chris Evert to comment on a match or no one.

I really thought Hsieh and her partner would lose. It is a good thing I watched till the end. What a nerve wracking match! Anyone could have won by the time the tiebreak part was being played.

So miss Bertens + Barty in doubles which could be such a joy to watch. They so often seemed to be having so much fun.

Excellent tennis!!!👌👌👌.first set was dominated by Barty and Bertens. Second set in the tiebreak 1- 4 down great come back by Strycova and Hsieh to win the set. Super tiebreak was a neck to neck fight. But the champions made it. Congrats Hsieh and Strycova.👍👍👍
Kiki was tired (from single matches I guess). Ashley is smart, her forehand is so strong (and net). At the start HS were rushing, trying to come up with "something", in the second they calmed down. In the end, Hsieh raised her level for a few points, which helped HS team; noticed her funny biceps gesture? :-) I was happy to see HS prevail in the end: great *team* work over great two single players, and the final match point highlighted their team work: Barbora chased an unimaginable ball and Su magically reached and pushed it over the net, to win the match!
Solid all around games for both sides .
Amazing that Ash Barty retired so recently. Admire someone who is comfortable knowing when they've done enough to move on.

Bertens is playing in top doubles because of the way the game has developed into one up one back. Her volleying and net play is well below the other three on court. Ash would carry anyone at doubles of course....she has the lot.

1. That match point - wtf did Hsieh do? It’s so out of this world. Awesome save by strycova there i thought her lob would go out but it didn’t.
2. It’s so cute that Hsieh’s and stryc didn’t even jump up for joy at the end. Were they shell shocked or still winded from the point. Regardless it came out as classy and not in your face , even though they had every right to.
Agreed. Hsieh magician-like skills and Barbora's tenacity. Together they're an awesome unit. They compliment each other perfectly.

Barty played really well. Unlike Gigi she made a number of mistakes. Her volley wasn’t effective.
It’s Kiki... And I thought she was getting better and better at the net. But it goes to show that a great single player is not automatically also the best double player..
In this game...Kiki Berten plays ....not really good ...made double faults...

think that's why they lost Ash trying hard to impress Kiki and couldn't focus. I bet the shower after the match was uh, interesting.

Additional note- Strucova is exceptionally well done on her roles and duties. Hsieh- just too much for her partner to carry on. 1:24 just too soft and not readiness.
Both won by luck.
