Awesome match 👌👌👌. Excellent tennis by both the players. First set was a back to back fight which Kenin won. The second and final set was dominated by Osaka. Congratulations 👍👍👍. Kenin better luck next time.

Kenin might be the only girl who doesn't follow her serve ball toss right away, she has a little delay which is really weird lol...

Kenin won the Australian Open after this, which was a grace and a gift from other players.
Kenin is a talented player completed at the age of 21, but now looks full.
However, Naomi, 22-year-old, is full of problems, but she is already a two-time GS champion.
There is still a lot of growth. Also, as you can see from this match, Naomi has exceptional physical ability and strength.
When Naomi raises her gear, Kenin doesn't keep up. Maybe that's the difference between Naomi and Kenin.

The server did a good job but it also depends on the receiving side. In the US Open, Leylah read Naomi's serves better and Leylah was quicker on the receiving end. The result was Naomi didn't get many aces as usual and eventually lost the match to Leylah.
Osaka Backhand is the most amazing thing in modern tennis.

For those who are interested in why Naomi did so poorly in 2021. Compare this Naomi to the 2021 Naomi. There are clear differences between them. The 2020 Naomi was energetic, tactical, and mentally tough. The 2021 Olympics and US Open Naomi were physically competing but mentally not there. The 2021 Naomi even moves slower than the agile 2020 Naomi. Naomi requires psychological help. If not, Naomi will descend into a mess and will even have trouble with her daily routines.

I always think Kenin's ball toss is odd in that she throws up the ball whilst her head is still down.
Maybe she’s checking her foot position to guard against foot faults. Just an idea....
its bizarre; almost as bizarre as that male player who does a vertical half halt when he does his ball toss; distracts the opponent...

This match even though she lost since Sofia up well for the Australian Open would she won.
I hope these two play at the French Open or at least on the clay-court the girls I think that would be a very interesting match even though Naomi obviously has so much more power and the best serve in women's tennis.
I was rooting for Kenin she grew on me. She played very well overall but Osaka service helped her to stay in the game. Great outfit too Sofia ✓

players need to STOP shaking hands at end of match with each other and the umpire; just wave!! ball persons need to disinfect each ball as it comes back to them before handing them to players...Ive played with a mask on plenty of times in bad air conditions; its only a 5% impediment...

@@Alyssasrealm I played fine with a mask; everyone else got a burning throat! no i wasnt kidding! the media reports a virus WHEN its told or allowed to do so by the health officials! over a million people left wuhan on or before their holiday and then went to all parts of the world including australia so u think the virus wasnt in australia in january? ya it was; u just didnt hear about it until later WHEN the health officials allowed it onto the media stream there.. i play tennis with gloves n disinfectant works fine.
Osaka has defeated both the 2019 USO and 2020 AO champions, if only she didn't have those mood swings in some matches, and always losing to Belinda. I am sure she could of defended both slams. Anyway, whenever tennis will be back, let's see how she picks up after such a long break. She should play Rybakina next.
