One of the most bizarre matches ever in tennis. Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios definitely share one of the most controversial matchups in tennis history.
Despite the score, this match has some insane tennis featuring the most badass umpire in tennis history, Muhamed Lahyani. - Sport
Kyrgios biggest opponent is Kyrgios.
+trash umpire
absolutely .he beats himself.
Yes. He should have just forgot some annoying incident in the first game. He is still complaining about it in the second set. It was just a point. Doesn't matter much, if he was wrong or right.
Kyrgios biggest opponent is his mum who didn’t educate him to become a decent man
A clown that never won a major vs a true champion with big heart and 22 majors. No comparison
aus open 2022 doubles? thats a major
@@bongcloud2141 lololol half because it's a team. I find it strange that people defend this arrogant person. However I'm not sure you're serious
100% 🔥
he was ranked nr 13 in the world at one point. we are 8 billion. that clown, arrogant and whatever you call him has a wikipedia page long enough. he accomplish a lot in his life. so look in the mirror, deeply. and see the the poor arrogant clown.
@@bongcloud2141nobody cares about doubles . In fact you are confirming he needs somebody else to carry him. Kyrgios is a 7 year old . Big mouth . Some confuse his big mouth with having a “ strong personality “.
Class vs No Class.
Mentality of a spoilt child. A big baby.
Kyrgios : just an empty brain
Kyrgios’ legacy will have nothing to do with his tennis…which is quite sad for a tennis player.
Kyrgios was his own worst enemy. He self-destructed 3 points into the first game of the final, and the one bad call just allowed himself to lose the plot. He was pretty much shaking his head in disgust constantly from that point onwards in every game. The one bad call didn't change the direction of the match... he changed it himself by playing stupidly out of resenting his own lack of self-belief. Nadal sensed his mental fragility in that moment and had all the confidence in the world to sniff it out and exploit it for the rest of the match. One of the biggest mistakes ever by Nick by letting himself down and letting Nadal free himself up.
Kygios can shoot incredible point - world class - but there is no consistency. Nadal have consistency, cold head and magic.
Kyrgios have incredible talent and incredible weak head.
Are we even comparing here? Come oon 😂😂
Well that is the different between the real champions like rafa, nole and Roger.. And kyrgios. He can have an amazing game but his mentality sucks.
Never tired to watch Nadal's game. Miss him playing on the court.
Rafa 💉💉💉💉
Always tired to watch Kygios games.
5:53 I love how the ref is not only telling Nick the rules here but also encourages him to get over it and to focus on the next game like a coach or a Team mate would do. Maybe he has some kind of empathy for Nick here. Not Sure if he is allowed to try to encourage Nick due to the ref's demanded neutrality but it's very kind. Maybe he also did that to try to maybe get rid of Nick's bullshit from there on 😂
Funnily enough, Mohamed Lahyani got suspended for two tournaments after encouraging Nick in the 2018 US Open! (source: wikipedia)
Great match, Nadal at his best and Kyrgios at his craziest! 😎
He needs to hire a mental coach. Big baby grow up
that "it slipped out of my hand" is as credible as "it's an accident" when someone gets caught for cheating
It was obvious BS, which was the point. He was just baiting the umpire. He's a child.
whatshisface (nick k.) is and has never been an asset to tennis i only watched because of nadal the other person isn't worth the time
That's pretty salty to say, whether you like Nick or not, he has brought a lot of fans to the game.. I am much bigger fan of Rafa, Roger and Novak but Kyrgios deserves some respect..
No worse than John Mac.
@@kenkozawa9810for being a spoilt child on the court? Yea lots of respect for him.
@@ethandebruyne9206calm down, video is from the 2017 lmao
Nick pulls in more fans than any other players lees the top 3
Haha, even the translation was aswjelikfuliwi at 7:36😂
Kyrgios is a shame.
As a tennis player Kyrgios has wasted his talent, but maybe his actual goal was to become a celebrity. If that is the case then he has been successful.
Kyrgios is so weak minded. To let one questionable call in the first round let him basically give up on the entire match.
He needs psychological help.
Never have I once seen a person throw a bottle at something so hard the label sticks to it 🤣🤣🤣
I was a believer that one day when NK would put apart his issues he would become a world class champion but that Wimbledon final against ND proved me wrong.
If Kyrgios concentrated on tennis instead of acting like a snotnose punk, then maybe he could get somewhere?
We have been so fortunate to witness the Big 3, a trio of phenomenal competitors and 3 stellar human beings on and off the court. Nick just undermines himself. He loves the negativity but it doesn’t translate to better performance.
And he's rewarded by getting to commentate at Wimbledon... 🤔
Nadal is a gentleman and a legend of the sport, Kyrgios is an infant!
5:38 umpire was even coaching him but he's still thinking about 1 lost point - that's pathetic. First unfair ball kept him disturbed for the rest of the game
Kyrgios was like a child having temper tantrums yet weirdly for some reason he had a high opinion of himself although he has never won a major. He covered his failures by behaving badly. That is all he is known for now.
Rafa ❤🎾😍👏🏼🙏🏼🏆
Class vs Ass
NICK ALWATYS TRIES SOOOO HARD TO BE RELEVANT. IF EVER THERE WAS OMEONE THEY SHOULDNT ALLOW TO PLAY TENNIS ITS THIS GUY .
I wasn’t aware that children could play against adult’s in world tennis tournaments?
nick can make a great shot but can’t be a great player.
He is a great player but he won’t be a great champion. If he wasn’t great he wouldn’t be able to beat the top players if he his head is screwed on right.
He's beat all the great players though
when the tennis crowds stop applauding idiots like him. THEN they'll act properly. McEnroe should have been suspended/banned when he acted appallingly . . nothing was done.
Kyrgios was always nothing more than a mongrel in tennis shoes.
did he learn how to drink yet?
How annoying is K! Just keep silent and play. Act like a pro!
“Oh no you can’t hold me accountable for my behavior, someone in my past made me feel bad and now I have to be an insufferable cunt the whole time”.
When was this match, like 2017? Kyrgios always had massive talent but was his own worst enemy. He could have been great if he had a great coach. He had a really unique game and variety of shots, when he hit flat forehand he hit as hard as anybody who ever played. Of course it would not always go in, but still, huge weapon.
He is uncoachable - he is a bully, a know-it-all, and an eternal victim. He needs therapy before he needs a new coach
@@Gregisms True, good points. A coach might not have been able to reach him, although in some cases any kind of mentor can serve as a therapist to some extent. All therapy is about creating self awareness in the end.
MIentras el payaso estaba llorando todo el rato, protestando en cada punto, tirando la raqueta al suelo, perdiendo los papeles, Nadal estaba haciendo su trabajo en completo silencio, que diferencia entre uno y otro...
Kyrgios better get some big-boy pants if he wants to play Nadal.
Kyrgios antics are legendary
He shouldn’t be allowed to play such tournaments: he has no etiquette no class he is a brute
Omg the umpire is so kind he is even coaching nick telling him to concentrate back to the game but he was still complaining like a 5 year old child, c’mon act like a professional
great
So much respect for umpire … having to deal with all the egos❤❤
Kyrgios looks like he's not grown up yet.
22 Grand Slams vs ZERO Grand Slams 😂
Oh o, our tennis patient.
Nick has as much talent as anyone who has ever played this game. No doubt about that. But he's a head case, so there's that.
The biggest opponent was all the woh, woh woh
To be fair that missed call would rattle anyone playing Nadal in a final. Especially in that circumstance
Um but he’s acting like a 5 year old child and he should just dealt with it
If he would just focus on the game a bit more instead of himself
Kyrgios the greatest sickness tennis's ever had?
Kyrgios is just a big mop, and the place of the mop is in the closet.
The GOAT.
Kyrgios, your the REAL JOKE. Your out of your league playing against Nadal.
No class...kyrgios is a clown
A child playing an adult...no contest.
He was initially mad for a call that’s like 1/16th of an inch wrong? There’re video challenges available so why whine? Tennis players can be the whinniest pro athletes on the planet imho.
How do you pronounce his name? Is it Cringe-ios? 😂😂😂
Quite simply the biggest child that ever picked up a tennis racket. Terrible he ever even made one penny given all the childish BS he displayed over the years. Saw him at the US OPEN a few years ago...pure athlete though
despite the scoreline, you cant deny the quality that both players produced, this match was far more competitive than the scoreline suggests
Kyrgios should play League of Legends instead. He'd fit right in perfectly.
He’s robbing his own bank account 😢
Million dollar talent and ten cent brain
Un giocatore di tennis che gioca con la calzamaglia....mai visto prima.
Also wonder if anyone noticed but nick is not confident in himself he did not celebrate his own victory like other players when won a point
What a player Nadal is. Also a gent havingl to face that idiot and stay calm and focused.
A Greek tragedy, Nick.😮
I m only watching cos it says “humiliated”
Too bad, he could beat Nadal if he gets out of his own way, that's a hell of a game Kyrgios has!
An ordinary player should take it grateful for playing against GOAT.
If Kyrgios had Jannik Sinner's focus and discipline, he could have won a slam by now. Talent is not everything
Probably multiple grand slams imo
The best chair empire that ever lived.????....LOL, is he your cousin or what? Girl, please...
6:20 what is Lahyani doing?
shielding his eyes from the sun so he can see whether the ball lands in or out
Kyrigos would have been o top tier player li he stopped arguing and clowning about.
Que pesao el Kyrgios este!
What a BABY
Kyrgios is such a crybaby
Where Nasal humiliated Nick?
Man v boy, cultured v uncultured etc - basically it was a man versus a very small child !
Boy has learnt it from John McEnroe!
There is just so so much talent in Nick. That serve alone is a real thing of beauty. Such a shame he goes through these shenanigans over and over. He seems to have calmed down a bit, but still too much showboating for my liking.
en verdad todos eran devotos de nadal
Sheer entertainment.
Kyrgios should just go join the WWE.
Krygios has no manners and no class. He makes the sport feel cheap.
Kyrgios is biggest clown in tennis history
He has the skills to go forward but his infantile attitude pulls him back ........
he was is big enemy, cause he had all the skill to be top 3 but for modern tennis spent time complaining take off the concentration you need to get results, is service was fantastic
How is this humiliation? Wasn't a blow out and the ref was legit being bad. In games against a top opponent, a ref really can decide the match. Ky is right that it's not "just one call". The ref sounds so dumb for saying that. Should Ky be swearing? Obviously not. That makes it look way worse.
What a clown he was. He has grown a bit now tho. Has more respect. But there is a reason he never won a GS (so far). Just terrible attitude.
je lui aurai donné un carton jaune qui aurait aussi glissé de ma main!!
Greek Freak for sure..
Is he a basketball fan? He seems to have picked up Lebron's mannerisms.
jaja Min 8:20
i am glad he is not in the courts anymore but i don't understand he is one of the commentators at the Tennis Channel giving his opinion , that is patheticni just change the channel or lower down to mute the volume . his appeal also is disgusting uugg...
Kyrgios joker. Lol
Tantrum
I disagree with most everyone. How happy would *you* be to ace Nadal even once?
But he wasn't happy to ace Nadal, he was too busy acting as if the World was against him because a line judge was human.
I absolutely hate people like this. They just whine and complain and try to bully their way to victory. I understand challenging the calls, but this is ridiculous. His parents were probably doing this at every match when he was a kid (because their son was special) and he's modeling that behavior.
That little snarky smile and tounge out only when things go his way temporarily show this guy has the emotional intelligence of a 4 year old.
John McEnroe started this childish rebellion behaviour on court, now others are copying him.
People shouldn’t be surprised.
Kyrgios is a disgrace to the great Australian tennis tradition. Great skill in a petulant whiny little school boy!
Kyrgios is the biggest upstart in tennis. No doubt he did not achieve anything significant in his career. Self righteousness does not win.
