I've had this pedal for about 18 months and learnt some stuff I didn't know before 😆 I think Scotty was wrong about the expression pedal being able to control any parameter on the Ocean Machine because I'm pretty sure that you can't use an expression pedal to control the overall volume, i.e. doing volume swells, which is a bit of a pain......at least that was the case when I tried using my expression pedal to make volume swells and couldn't set it to control the volume. I might be wrong but I'm 99% sure that you can't set an expression pedal to control the volume. In fact, I found an expression pedal to be a waste of time with the Ocean Machine. Yeh you could use one to control the shimmer, but I personally think that the shimmer sounds crap on this, as do the special effect delays such as Crystal, Liquid, Galaxy, and so on, which was disappointing for me because I was looking forward to using them. It's still a good pedal though, half of the delays on each knob are well useable, as are most of the reverbs. 👍
Man thank you for saving me.. im about to buy this, im looking for reverb/delay pedal combi that can do volume swell bcoz i want to use it with my rc 300 to create ambient looping..
