I like how you are so committed to minimalism that even your voice is monotone.
Thanks, Zanskarma! Staying minimalist in all aspects ;-)
I'm a simplicist and my simple mind and lifestyle help me a lot in navigating my confused self through life. Kudos to those who know how to utilize and appreciate whatever they have before they get more stuff to function. In the world full of different people, ways of thinking, needs and wants, that's a rarety.
Totally resonate. Extreme minimalism = carving my unique path, staying true to myself, and dodging the never-ending consumer race. Recognizing that most jobs and obligations center around creating, consuming pointless products or services. Back to basics, I'm still in the loop, but hopefully, a tad less than before.
@@minicalm Rock on, Sir.
1:18 If anyone is interested, the mat he's kneeling on near his laptop is called the "Forclaz Trek Pad Outdoor Foam Seat" by Decathlon.
Good eye. Simple sit pad. Thanks for sharing!
This is pretty extreme, but I remember when we were displaced from a fire that our home was being repaired so we were living in a hotel because all of our stuff was in a storage.. we would go back amd stay the night at our home some nights and all we had was our inflatable mattress and blankets in the center of the room.. mind you we were a family of 6 sleeping in 1 room for the night, it felt so nice, fresh and everyone enjoyed eaxhtothers company so much
Fascinating … I think it would be incredibly calm but I don’t think I’m quite ready to go this extreme! ❤😊
Calm it is. When ready, way reveals itself naturally. Presence is pivotal, not possessions. Thanks for your comment!
I don't think I'll ever be ready. I have scissors in almost every room in case I need to cut something. I have extra towels in case family comes over and decides to shower. And it goes on...
minimalism is the best decision I ever made 🌱
Once the minimalist path taken, there is no way back
If you put the food bags in one of the cupboards, your kitchen will not look so cluttered.
Indeed, but practicality won over aesthetic in this situation
Man, the whole video and some of the comments (like this one) are really making it hard to figure out if this is clever satire or serious.
@@phantagirlable it was about 50/50. Sorry, I'm a bit of a wiseass.
Nice Video. Look forward to more
More simplicity to come. Appreciate the interest.
Love this. I sit on a black zabuton at a low small folding camp table. I have a meditation corner with zafu, zabuton, incense and candle. Sleep on a matress on a tatami on the floor. The only furniture is a desk and chair for wfh. My clothes are for camping and hiking, meditation and office work. I like how Ghandi lived on the floor with mats and a floor desk. More space to live. Thanks for your video.
Cool👍. Your words resonate with me.
Thanks Angelina! I appreciate your comment. I'm glad you found resonance in my words. Minimalism has a way of speaking to many of us, doesn't it? Feel free to share your own minimalist experiences or any tips you might have! Nils
I truly enjoyed this !
Glad you liked it. I appreciate your comment.
I love this, refreshing and revolucionary video. I am a minimsliat too in the path to become an extreme minimalist.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Wishing you all the best on your path to embrace minimalism to its fullest. Stay committed, but find the balance that works for you.
It makes me feel peace. Thank you very much.
I would be so happy to see more of your videos from your home as well if you ever decide to do that, the clips from your home look a lot like mine and I love seeing how other people live with less 😊 beautiful work you are doing here! As a fellow ADHD person, I can confirm clear spaces make a clear head ❤
Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad we can relate as minimalists, especially with ADHD where clear spaces do help provide a clear head. And you're right, I should share more of my actual home too. I'll definitely make a video touring my real minimalist living space. It's motivating to connect with others embracing simple living with open minds and hearts. Appreciate you!
minimalism comes very easy for rich people like you, who have rich friends. for normal people, we need to keep stuff to make sure that we don't need to buy it again in emergency. so u r v privileged
I don't own a lot of things. But every day I see that there is something to sell and to get rid off.
I like your life style. When I travel, i need only 8 kg backpack, no matter for how long I travel. So my goal is to have not more than 1 car of items (including the winder wheels).
Cool, so you can focus on even better things or ventures
One of the best Minimalism Videos i have Seen in the last time. I Hope See more of your
I will absolutely strive to create more of "less" in the future ;-)
Poe's Law, literally no clue if this is satire or in earnest
Let’s view it as a social experiment.
J'adore !
Merci !
So calming❤
Happy to provide a peaceful moment! 🌟 Thx for your comment.
love it
Thank you
I'm minimalist but this is too stark for me. I like some things around to feel cozy.
Less is more, but bare is too bare, for some ;-)
i would add a work desk, chair, monitor, ergonomic sofa. i would also add more dishes, and wash them quickly in dishwasher. other than that , this is good.
It’s like apolcalyse being twisted 😂
Hi. Good video! It’s hard to find real extreme minimalists. 👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Your curation of minimalist video playlists is spot on! For me, extreme minimalism is like peeling away layers of my bustling mind, bringing peace.
Minimalism is not owning nothing. You can still have some furniture and possessions. Minimalism is an intentional life not a deprivation life.
@@trekkie-catMinimalism and Extreme minimalism is very different. Extreme minimalism is like a nomad life, owning almost nothing, able to pack and move in 30 minutes or less. We have a facebook group of 13000 people who are or who are trying to be Extreme-minimalists😊
@@candy.yankovska I know they are different. I'm more the cozy minimalist
@candy.yankovska I think you'd find Sagelife Minimalism very interesting. She's also extreme minimalist and although I do think I'll go too extreme, she does give me food for thought.
Magnifique
Thx dad.
Is this empty home, inspiring you to declutter more when you go home?
I always find that when I am away from home.
I live as an extreme minimalist [and still decluttering lol] with my toddler.
It is possible.
I've already decluttered my personal possessions to the maximum, but I can't force minimalism on my family or go against their wishes for collective furniture and belongings. It's about finding a balance that works for everyone.
@@minicalm Oh. I wasn't sure if you had already. Are they intentional about their stuff?
Intentionality with possessions can vary for each individual. What one person deems essential, another may see as clutter.
But he still has to go home when the wife returns. 😢
Freedom balance key. Solo retreat reset needed. Family time cherished too. Camping harmonizes isolation/togetherness.
It’s too extreme for me 😂 bt like to keep things simple as possible , unfortunately we need to have things
I would need a bed and a couch or possibly one of those chairs that folds out into a bed
Why do you feel you need both a bed and a couch or a mixed one?
@@minicalm comfort…. Also have herniated disc’s in my neck and back from a fall several years ago and even though I love laying on flat surface, I have trouble long term laying that way. Inflatable is semi-comfortable though
How do you deal with the echo? Do you hear your neighbors? Do they hear you (talk, walk)?
The echo was quite unusual at first, but I've grown accustomed to it over time. The neighbors upstairs are very quiet, and the building has good insulation, so I haven't received any complaints during the days I've lived in this minimalist space.
This is how I want to live, but husband said NO.
Interesting. I'm curious about which gender tends to be more drawn to extreme minimalism, men or women?
You can have a foldable sitting style food table
We can have a lot of things...
Thank you for your comment! Appreciate.
hola
me parece muy interesante, porque de alguna manera la vida minimalista hace referencia a esta bella frase: "el silencio es el leguaje de dios, lo demás es una mala traducción"
Delicia frase al encontrar paz y plenitud en lo esencial. Saludo amigo.
When will your friend be returning and furnishing their apartment?
No way back, he went to live to the countryside and will soon rent this apartment
not a fan view , sorry
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Everyone has different tastes, and I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and share your opinion 🙏
Don't you worry that your friend will be back soon?
No, it was a nice experiment, I am happy to live with my family in my minimalist (not extreme) home, I love the experience though.
Was this directed by Wes Anderson
I am not a cinephile but enjoyed your comment ;-)
But he could wash the dusty floor I don't think he has a bucket and mop
Due to a recent kitchen renovation, there's a bit of dust. I wanted to make the video first before cleaning. Check out my other video with my cleaning essentials: czcams.com/video/GvuN_ym06s4/video.html
What City?
Concón, a coastal city in central Chile
@@minicalm ok
No way Ii can live like this with my partner
Each journey is unique! Maybe start with minimalism lite: one less chair, one more adventure!
This shit is absolutely perverse. Minimalism is for the rich.
Or maybe Minimalism can make you rich, financially or mentally
Now this is stupidity
