Custom Kids Furniture // X-Carve Contest

I'm enrico, I'm an engineer.
I like to apply engineering concepts to the art of woodworking and DIY in general, to make stronger, lighter, smarter and more resilient objects.
My biggest passion is building toys and furniture for kids and with kids.
I like to use poor, natural and sustainable materials, like wood and plywood (which is engineered wood), white and atoxic glues, water based paints... No epoxy or weird stuff like that…
I won't use anything my little child could not touch or use on his own.
I like to build furniture that grows up with the kid: this is a set with a small table and a chair for little kids, but you can use it even for bigger kids. And later it can become a coffee table.
My idea is to create customized objects from a web cart, on demand, for every kid.
You like planes? We'll customize your furniture with aircrafts.
You love Space-X? Here is an amazing falcon heavy bed for your room!
You like dragos? Imagine how scary and funny your bed could be!
Tables and chairs use a modular set of structures, so the production is optimized.
And I can carve anything the kid chooses from my online store.
You choose it online, I’ll customize your set, you receive it at home.
But using hand tools, every new shape means effort, errors and time.
A X-Carve would help me serializing the production even if every single piece has different decorations and shapes.
