- What if there's a better way to sit at a desk than in a "normal" chair? I set out to find a solution to this question in this video. I am building a version of the kneeling chair called Varier Balans designed by Peter Opsvik.

Is there a difference in stability/durability from bending wood to CNC machining it curved?
That one wrench being turned the other way from all the others in the back is driving me nuts

Maybe there should be something a bit more substantial to place your feet on? Or is it comfortable the way it is?
its really comfortable. Im a fair bit longer than most people so thats why my feet reach the ground

Thanks! I would probably print the design on paper and glue it to the plywood and cut it with the bandsaw/jigsaw and clean it up with a sander. Thats what I have done in the past at least and it worked fine
