- I've gotten a few questions on if it's possible to use the Mevo Start with Zoom. The answer is YES, but with some caveats. Lemme show you how it's done and what the current issues are.

Are you able to get the sounds from the mevo mic to translate through zoom on NDI mode?
Quick question. I have Mevo start, pc, obs, canon G50, atem mini. I want to do zoom meetings and allow for screen share to pc for products I have available. Do I still need NDI?

I don't see Mevo in tray but I do see it as a camera option in zoom. I select in zoom but the feed doesn't show.

Do you know why I'm unable to launch the .exe file. Anytime I try to run it, it says runtime error. I'm on a PC that is managed by a group policy cause I attempted to connect on my personal mac computer and had no issues - thinking that might be the issue.

Yes! This apparently works only with the Mevo start, not other Mevo models. Just follow the tutorial to know how to get it working.

Hi. Appreciated your vid. I've done everything you said ... download ndi ... settings on Mevo to NDI mode ... set NDI virtual to Mevo ... and I just get a black screen. Any advice?
Hrmmm.... assuming you're using a Mevo start, my first gut assumption is that Zoom and the Mevo don't have the most up to date software. Try updating everything?

I believe they updated it like weeks after this tutorial. Nothing new in steps, just it finally works again 😅😅😅
RE: MAC directions: Please be more clear with OBS use and E-Cam use. So what does a person do from there? How do you get it out there after that? Lots of jumping around.
Do you think the next Mevo going to have that option ? For streaming on Facebook with zoom ?
Good question. I personally feel they won’t bother making it an official specific option in their app and firmware but they will just keep support for NDI and allow users to connect to Zoom, which can then stream to Facebook.
So the Mevo mic is present in the the zoom session, correct?
Can additional mics be added via the Mevo Mic App?

Did you get it to work? It should work. Check your cable and the mevo audio settings if not.
My Mevo start keep jumping off line while I'm recording to the SD card and im not on no streaming network. What do I do im scared to even go LIVE (Help)
It only happens when you are recording to the SD card? Definitely shouldn't happen since the SD card recording happens in the background pretty superfluously. Could be a faulty unit.
How did you get the camera to crop/zoom while in the Zoom session?
using the phone app (or iPad app) you have that capability. I would love to see Mevo/Logitech work with some of the streaming apps to bake this into their apps so you don't have to have have a separate phone app running. I am configuring my Mevo Start system and have found some very good and slightly annoying features, but for the price (I got mine on black Friday for a great discount), I will have a video on my channel soon.

Oh I haven’t used it in a loooong time for zoom but last I checked it was working with this NDI trick.

Zoom can output to Facebook live actually :-). May be a payed plan thing though. Not sure 🤔🤔🤔

Hi Maria. I don’t have the Plus on hand to look into this, as this tutorial is focused on the Start. I would look into making sure you’re on the latest firmware and are using the Mevo 2.0 app. Do let me know if that was the issue or not. Thanks!

How do you get the Mevo app on your computer?
Unfortunately the app is currently phone-only.
Slow down! You totally ignore how to get into the mevo app in order to select. You just indicate turn it on. As though the user is there by default.

This is sucks, how about using the Mevo start alone, without a computer? this is terrible, such a expensive camera and I can't even livestream directly to Zoom without a computer, you have to be kidding, I really regret buying this cameras, unfortunately purchased 2 of them, because I was promised it will work with any streaming platform in a near future, which was a lie.
the only way to use it without a computer is with the expensive Vimeo plan of $79.00 per month, that almost $1,000.00 per year.
Such a big thing of announcement for a little update, with the actual situation, we the pro wedding videographers, don't have the leverage to add a extra personal to handle all the hustle of computers and extra equipment to deliver a product, a regular mobile phone can do.
Eye roll. Not sure where you think this would for for weddings. Try using the right tool for the job.
