i own both consoles and the PS3-PS4 was unbeatable when it comes to expensives but all had so far is cross gen titles or remasters it needs some proper first party exclusives

The fact that I can have game pass and play my games on a meta quest, iPhone, Xbox, pc. Sony doesn’t even scratch the service of playability. Yes Xbox is dead. But the software isn’t. Windows alone is a monster. I can’t imagine Xbox ip’s everywhere. They will dominate under our noses…
Unfortunately, gamepass is a double-edged sword in a circular model economy.
Gamepass offers gamrs day one (but the cost is high, so they need to convince people to subscribe and keep it there).
While at the same time producing and delivering their own exclusiv games, which are also on gamepass ( again, it cost a lot)
Also, they need more games, so they need to produce more themselves or they can buy studios with talented people and expect them to make a ROI quicker while and doing budgets cuts,depending on what they need. (Again, more money spent)
For all of it to work, it is necessary that the machine keeps running.
If one of those components does not work, then all of it won't work.
Whic puts microsoft on a tough spot. Sure, money is not an issue, but at some point, they will need to make a profit to keep investors.
So they don't have a lot of solution left either they releas banger after banger or they become 3rd .
Or they take another huge risk and come up with another innovativ plan.
Xbox does not have the final word on a lot of the decisions, Microsoft does.
As soon as they revealed game pass I immediately said that this will be bad for them…

What xbox is doing way worse, with gamepass, no one will pay for games. It's bleeding the gaming industry, yes great for kids, but not for triple A games. This is why prices for games is increasing, barely anyone is buying them.
Idk about you but... I have so many games on ps plus extra that I wanna play but don't have time. I have so many games purchased that I haven't finished yet.
I wanted spiderman 2 on day one, but no time. Played it 3 months after release. Ac mirage same story.
I wanna play stellar blade. No time at the moment. By the time I wanna buy lost of these games they're already on discount.
A truly day one or pre order for me will be gta6, next god of war game or spiderman 3.. other than that.
Funny story I was contemplating buying Immortals of Aveum on PS5 , 2 days later was free on ps plus , and need for speed unbound.
We have an abundance of games today. We don't need day one purchases, especially when games are more optimised 2-3 months later after release.
@@dailyhubranx Yes u r right bout that, when u have so many games u wanna play, but don't have time to play them and they get forgotten bout, or u buy it and just don't play it at all, if u have the time. When u have so many games in a subscription service, it's kinda hard, for 1 game to keep ur attention for long, until u lose interest so quickly, u just play another game, without finishing the last one u were playing. I understand people have busy lives, they don't have time to play games. This is why they put microtransactions in games, u don't have the time to grind, u can just pay to get ahead. It sucks but, unfortunately it's effect. EA for example, is notorious for doing this in sports games like NFL and NBA.

You're not very bright are you? Ps hardware isn't abandoned at all. They have so many units sold it doesn't matter that PS sales are going down. Once the new Xbox comes out I would assume it would go a lot higher. The few games that are exclusive on PS5 are some of the greatest games made. Xbox isn't "over" and they're not going to give up.
The stupidest myth going around the web is " PS5 doesn't have exclusives.. it has 100 more than Xbox... And yeah it's coming to PC too, about 2 years later..by that time us PS5 players finished the game 3 times. (We're excluding Helldivers 2 ofc.
