- Wild Things are happening today for Halloween. As I look at Maurice Sendak's Wild Thing from "Where The Wild Things" as a giant balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The thing that was a huge coinsidence was that the wild thing was the only balloon that missed its test flight in 1998. And in 1999, while he was being inflated, a chamber had suddenly burst, so he couldnt fly.
He had a test flight, but his face was completely unpainted
Maybe they could not show his face, like what they did with SkyDancer in 1995?

In 1999, the Wild Thing balloon was removed because of the faulty inflation chambers.

I think before the parade started he was ripped apart first his legs then his arm and finally his head
