Max (Kat Dennings) is a brunette and spunky woman who works at a low-rent diner in Brooklyn, N.Y. Her co-workers include Han Lee, the small Asian owner, Oleg (Jonathan Kite), the joke-telling cook, and Earl, the aging cashier, while Caroline (Beth Behrs), the new waitress, is blonde and tall, and doesn't fit in with the class. When the new waitress, Caroline (Beth Behrs), a tall blonde with a celebrity look that doesn't fit in, Max questions Caroline's identity and learns that she used to be a real Miss Manhattan, but after her father's bankruptcy, she was forced to work in the store to survive. Max, a soft-spoken person, takes Caroline in, and the two girls become good friends, despite their different backgrounds and the fact that they are also penniless.

This reminds me of when i worked at a restaraunt. An older blonde haired lady got all huffy because there was a hair on her plate and a fly landed on her enchilada. Well when we took a look at the hair it was long and blonde. 4 guys are back in the kitchen, 2 who are bald and only 1 who has long enough hair it could be his.
