The Pixel 3 has a major audio problem. The V40 had the best audio imo.

plus the new upcoming lg v60 thinq will have 7 cameras 4 on the back and 3 on the front
the 4th is actually a video only but its a 3D video which no phone has it not even iphone can develop that they can only copy their idea which sucks
and it terms of Mega Pixel Lg has the highest of all phones and highest Res quality
it has a Mega Pixel of really expensive digital camera that experts use for book covers
man this just goes to show that phones are gonna dominate normal cameras

It would be nice if LG at least tried in the HDR department. Like as an owner of the LG V30+ i can see they focus heavily on leaving headroom for post production. But 80% of people literally don't care about post production headroom. They just want to point and shoot. LG must excel in that primarily in order to compete and gain market share.

i have a 6t,. and i never get this red tone,.... looks like its damage somehow... Mine looks super colour balanced.
never trust comparisons like this... you never know if a company pays the youtuber. i have a 6t too and its nothing like that in video.

Lg v40 strengths =manual mode... Love the comparison.. Idk why your pictures were super saturated on the v40 ... Pixel is over sharpening all photos..
The v40 has great cameras but not in this video as much as it should be. V40 is better overall than the rest. Especially with manual mode on the cameras. Pixel is so overrated for me.
They're doing something much better with 1 camera than 4 cameras. What do you think?
Deep Dive! The comparison was great, and not many reviewers have done a good job with comparisons. I think pixel peeping and details is an important factor, 200% crops would be amazing for a detailed comparison. Most of the people are watching this on handheld devices, so 4 section when comparing is fine, but we can't see details on smaller device screens, so maybe it can be adjusted or some frame crops. Thanks. Hope a detailed review comes soon.

I really enjoy your side by side comparisons. You seem to do that more than any vlogger. That's a good thing. Especially when it comes to cameras. We get to see it for ourselves.
I just wish to see 1 video just 1 video on youtube for lg v40 with manual mode only, I know auto mode and LG never been good friends lol, really LG made their phones for manual mode, I am a DSLR user and I own v30 now and I can tell you the auto mode suck but the manual mode is something!

People on average use auto modes on their phones.. the average consumer but the V40 and the One Plus 6 camera is complete and utter trash. There are 2017 phones that does better and that's sad. DXO ranked LG phones at an 85. Thsts budget phone territory.

if you want to get the best pics not just from LG but from any manual mode camera
simple but first you need to learn and understand what is shutter speed, light sensitivity (iso), Apreture( although its fixed on smart phones except S9+), white balance and over exposure or under exposure.
U might find it difficult but they r not they r connected to each other ;).. Like I said DSLR users understand what manual can do!
Seems in terms of video, stabilization, sound for both rear and front camera, the 6T makes fun of the rest. And the even more funny thing is that is the cheaper one. Well done OnePlus.

Yeah.. I have a OnePlus and I never gave the red color on my videos too.. he must have had wrong settings or color tone. I also have an iPhone.. I personally think they both are okay, but OnePlus clearly is a winner for the money vs value factor.

I remember the times, when Samsung had the more saturated colours and LG the most natural. ( LG G4, Samsung S5,6) Back then, LG was rated dull and boring and Samsung was the king and special because of the poping colours. Now it is the other way around, but now, the saturation isnt a good thing. Now the best thing is to have a natural balanced colour. It just blows my mind, the bias against LG. Dont know what they need to do, to make reviewers happy.

Hi. I supposed you had updates since doing this video. But Between the 6T and Pixel 3 (&2) which one excels in the audio recording whilst taking a video? Which one takes better portrait shots and stabilization? Takes natural/warm-ish / less overexposed photos? And which one is better with the overall speakers output? And is better in the audio department when you connect a pair of Bluetooth headphones? Cheers.

Lg V40 has manual controls over video so it's the most flexible phone ....point and shoot camera stills is pixel ....best video is iPhone.....OnePlus 6t is average

I think Apple beat Google at its own game this year. HDR is pretty amazing on the iPhone. Videos look insanely good and pictures are gonna be on par with the Pixel which would be even a tougher match if the oversharpening would be dialled down a bit. That said, the iPhone is the most consistent overall, making it the best choice.
PS: I've got a OP6 and I'm ok with how photos and videos turn out, tbh. It's not terrible. In case someone calls me an iSheep or something.
Pixel 3 does the best photos and selfies. iPhone XS is the best at video recording.
I find that the iPhone does best in photos outside, Pixel 3 wins indoors and low light. Smart HDR on the iPhone is too good
I agree. The iPhone is by far the most consistent with its smart HDR. Pixel can do a good still too, but is inconsistent sometimes. I agree that night mode on Pixel is pretty awesome though.

Need new comparison one, after all the Pixel 3 update now!!!! Video goes to iPhone, Photo to Pixel. Stabilization goes to Pixel....Portrait/Selfie mode goes to Pixel. LG V40 wins for having more cameras and OnePlus wins for more rams...lol.

This has nothing to do with color platforms. The only thing is the OnePlus 6t and LG V40 don't autoconvert the color platform to the usual which is why they look so different.

Again. I just love the bokeh, the lens flare and the translucent, the gradient shadow and the cinematic soft film look texture it produced on the v40. The s10, 6t, pixel 3 and iphone xs cannot produced. The V40 produced such professional image.
