- This is a Step-By-Step Guide to installing the Yakima HD Tonneau Set to my Pace Edwards Ultragroove Tonneau Cover on my 2017 GMC Sierra! This Rack is designed to integrate into the T-Slot integrated in this tonneau cover. This rack can also be installed on a Retrax Pro tonneau cover.

Just installed mine after your vid-thanks for the tips! The crossbars were a bugger to get in but that rest was good. Why didn't you go closer to the cab?
Awesome! I’m glad my video was able to assist you! Yeah the cords bars take a lot of back and forth but adjusting them later isn’t that bad.
So I was originally going closer and I started thinking about why I’m using my rack for and this 5 foot latter I have was a big influence. So I went closer together and liked the look of it being more centered front to back and away from the cab
Realistically, the rubber tonneau adapters do nothing other than cleaning up the look. The rubber piece that sits on the bed rail doesn’t have any structure correct? So it’s not supporting any of the weight off of the tonneau track rail. I was hoping they’d be a nice piece of aluminum to help take the weight off the track rails.
What was the make of your tonneau cover? Looks pretty solid.
Sweet work!! Can you raise or lower them without disconnecting the bars? How hard are they to remove?
Thanks so much!! Yes you can adjust them no problem. I recently lowered mine to get into a parking garage with no worries. You have to loosen about 16 bolts to lower it because you need to loosen the side rack bolts(top insided and outside) and you need to loosen the bolts attaching the tower to the bar. Took me maybe 10 minute my first try and could go faster next time

Are the Yakima letters on the uprights white or silver/gray in color? Thanks
They are white in all caps. Looks nice not too overwhelming
The first thing I want to do is take those dang stickers off. I want the least bit of attention drawn to my truck as possible.
What crossbar length did you get??
68 inch HD Bar (Large) They go up to 78 inch for the XL I believe. Thanks for checking out the video!

Would this work with a retract pro?
Yes this should work with the retract pro as well as any other cover that had a T-Slot rail
What length HD bars?
