Good luck with the recovery, it’s looking good for where you’re at right now.
So glad I saw this video I’m about the same time and I felt clicking and grinding aswell was worried I was messing it up
Slow and steady mate, good to see recovery is going to plan.
It is unfortunately a slow process but hopefully wont be too long before i can get back into training. 👍
Hope your shoulder is better! Can you please post another update?
Had the same surgery 14 days ago, the pain sucks,,,I started PT today,, I do agree that the sling causes more pain,
Had labrum repair surgery on right arm 5 and a half weeks ago. Just started having arm out of sling for short periods during the day. Pain is bearable for the most part without meds. Very weak, about the same range of motion he describes here. It's a long road to recovery for sure.
Hello Bill! I have got this same injury of labrum tear and lesions in my right shoulder and it pops out frequently, so the doctors have advised me to undergo a surgerical treatment. All of this dislocations and labrum tear started with my basketball training and workouts. My question to you is that if I will be able to play basketball again and go with normal gym workouts post surgery. How much time do you think is good to go for the play and workouts? Also update me about your progress so far. Thank you !
Hello Bill, did you train your good side after the surgery, such as doing one arm curls, unilateral cable rows, tricep pull downs or lateral raises? Or did you just not train at all? And thank you so much for documenting your progress! Im getting the same surgery in 3 days.
Had a laterjet procedure on my left shoulder about two and a half weeks ago and been watching your video for tips and ideas to help with my recovery. It’s a bummer but I have to wear the sling for another 4 weeks till rehab😭. Other than that, will keep watching your videos as they are really helpful 🤘🏾
👍 glad you are enjoying the videos, hope you recover well
Thank you for documenting your progress I am thinking about getting this done
I’m glad you are enjoying the content, only do it if you have no other alternative. Recovery is slow 👍👍
@@trainingwithbill2067 bro I do agree recovery is for real slow 😭😭😭😭I'm 6weeks and suffering from physiotherapy
I wonder how fast one can recover if they would add CJC DAC-1295 in the equation.
Advices for bodybuilders regarding this injury :-
1- warm up warm up warm up enough especially if you want to lift heavy or you live in cold areas
2- db shoulder press is a big no no stay away from it its not worth use the barbell for that much safer cause when you go heavy your shoulders will go back naturally , not only my experience but the experts say it
3- stay away from behind the neck barbell presses !
4- stay away from any behind the neck movements its dangerous and your shoulders will be most vulnerable , imagine yourself getting a muscle cramp like me while lifting in that position !! Your done
Regards
Couldnt agree more on the 3rd and 4th
what kind of slap tear was?? type 2?? what the sympthoms were??
When were you first able to take your sling off? How did you shower
Finally i have done the surgery on Saturday. The first 2 days was painful 😣 but after that it will go away, iam on the sling right now for at least i think 4-5 weeks, the doctor said you can start the rehabilitation on Saturday, very stricted movements, by the way they puted 4 anchors or 5, i had an 70-80% damage on my labrum
العمدة wow! How. Did your recovery go? I'm like 2 years post labral repair and it's still a little iffy and gets sore quickly.
Thank you brother my surgery is on Saturday!! Your videos helped me alot
I’m glad the videos helped. 👍
ألف سلامة ...ياليت لو تعمل فيدوهات تشرح الي حصل معاك للاستفادة.

Lol my Arabic is good when speaking but not too good when it comes to writing.
How is you recovery now. I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago , and can feel a bone from my surgery shoulder stick forward all the time.
Me too is your arm shorter than the other
I had full open labrum surgery 6 weeks ago. Entire labrum was torn off 4 anchors were put in. I started physio yesterday. Whenever I move my shoulder externaly it feels incredibly tight if i push it a little it feels like the bone is gonna move back. The physio told me its cause my arm was in a sling for 6 weeks but it honnestly feels like its foward an inch like a minor disloaction. I have such little range of motion is this something youve experienced.
How are you feeling now? Please provide an update?
My arm shorter than the other is yours?
Did you ever get pain down the side of your arm? I’m 6 weeks and get that pain
Yes I get popping too it’s painful
So you've been put of the sling for a moment a bit now. I had 2 seperate tears in the labrum cleaned one anchored the other and cleaned out my rotator cuff and bunch of bursitis and decompressed a cyst from one of the tears in like 9 weeks out just got out of my sling and curious how its going a month out of the sling and how the process is going. Looks like I have the same range of motion and pain as you do so curious to see how your feeling this far out.
Will have an update in a day or 2 👍
I’m 6 weeks post op from a left arm labrum surgery. Just started moving the arm, very discouraging. Shoulder is clicking just like before.
Update?
Been 2 years. Shoulder is tip top :) No more clicking.
@gatelice3854, was the shoulder super stiff and painful at week 6-7?
@@juanmotes8867im at 6 weeks and pain is probably worse its been so far since ditching the sling and starting driving, is this normal?
@@juanmotes8867im at 7 weeks and it hurts more now than before surgery
İ had slap lesion almost 4 months ago i did not do any exercise for 3 months then had physco teraphy . Doctor said you need to start workouts to get stronger . İm going gym again but my pain is not increasing or decreasing. Should i use deca for treatment. İ heared most of doctors offers deca for treatment or surgery. What is your opinion
Should it even click after surgery he has the point of surgery for a torn labrum is to fix the tear that causes it to be unstable but after the fix shouldn’t the clicking and grinding go away. Idk my self just asking you
My thoughts exactly, Honestly I’m not sure myself I will ask at my next appointment with the surgeon.
trainingwithbill did you find it why
Hi, not yet I have to wait for my next appointment to have them look into it. I’ll update you on the next video 👍
trainingwithbill did you find out why it clicks
Is haven’t seen the surgeon yet, next check up will be in 2 weeks. I have asked the Physio therapist and he said it’s common to still click after surgery ??? I will update on my next video 👍
