      In the start of act 2
      I entered an area that was filled with ghost with 1 sole girl she was a summoner. I clear the stage and remove the ghost from her body, She joins my party
      She explains that her father long ago discovered a secret to keep souls on the earth so he reached into the depths of hell and put her mothers spirit into her body, and the dad used her controlled body (INCEST STYLE) for the next 100 years until you showed up and broke her free.
      She encounters said Daddy and he realizes his magic has been broken and has some splainin to do to daughter dearest who was just getting the D two weeks ago, he then explains he loved her mother so much he would of done anything for her AND HE DID!
      Morality choice was to let the Incest dad join our party and have 2 overpowered summoners or kick this evil son of a bitches ass.

      While the A+ bonus ending is pretty memorable because of how it connects to the rest of the series and changes how Let Us Cling Together's story reads, I think carpet lich is definitely the most memorable part of this game.
      (For those who haven't played yet, towards the end, there's a lich who confronts you, then transforms into a carpet and slinks away. He's basically Knight of Lodis' version of Final Fantasy Tactics' hat-throwing thief.)

    Man, The Knight of Lodis was my favorite game on the gba as a kid! I was always bummed that not a lot of people know about it. I'd say the most memorable thing for me was the story and theme of the game. It was the first time in a game I encountered a story tackling topics revolving around god, religion, and loss. Those themes left a profound impression on me as a kid and I owe this game for helping shape some of the ideas, creativity and beliefs I developed as I got older. I feel like not a lot of games touch these subjects head on like KoL did, or at least none that I've played recently. Endings A and B really stick out to me because most of the story elements are payed off and very rewarding. So happy you decided to make a video on this!

  • @Alquirot_94
    @Alquirot_94 Před 3 lety +1

    For me, the most memorable part of Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis was probably the soundtrack.
    It's so unique, easy to recognize, and instrumentation is the most memorable part of all. I've never heard such a charming style in the system, the PCM instruments fit so well with the Game Boy channels, and compositions simply helps in this aspect, songs like "Overture" "Opening Theme" "Battle BGM" "Battle BGM4" "Sudden Change" "Conversation" "Ending A" and "Credits" are perfect examples of this; unique, strange, consistent and awesome. (I know I could've mentioned more songs, but mentioning the vast majority of them would be too much).
    (Story time!): First time I heard the soundtrack, I was pretty young, remember things you'd experienced at that age are like déjà vu-s, and when I heard the OST again some years later, the feeling was so PTSD-af, but in a good way!, it was like a lost memory coming back to you, everything's so familiar but so unknown at the same time, and the sweet forgotten melodies just hit harder, it was impossible to me to not love this style, and even to this date, I still find myself searching for the OST to listen to it again and again.
    I don't truly know what kind of sorcery the OST has on it (or at least the weird attachment it caused to me), but just like the visuals, I find the music as something you would not easily forget, and one of the most memorable aspects in TO:TKoL.

    I think this game might even be a bit better than the original Final Fantasy Tactics. I give it a nudge because of the number of useful endgame classes. I actually don't have a single knight or ninja in my endgame party, I'm curious as to why you think they're so good.
    I only have one healer, Rictor, and he just spams summons on single targets for damage. Heals stop doing anything once you get a party developed enough. Main was a sword master, secondary melee a dragoon (both with snapdragon swords), Rictor ofc, a Siren (Gnome spam), Deneb (for fluid magic support/Salamander spam), a warlock for fluid magic, and two liches for support with time Flux/teleport and some damage while also having 999 physical defense lol. I could definitely change out some things, but this set definitely works. I've also farmed firecrests, warp rings/boots and goblin helms for my two dedicated melees. You can get stupid strong in this game.
