Hey Kev! I really hope you see this comment but I just wanted to say that since i was little I always bought the little Rc cars that they had in k mart hoping they would be fast.. only to be disappointed when opening them. Then when I was 10 I saw one of your videos. I was AMAZED I watched a bunch of your videos until I realised… I can actually get my hands on one of these things! I went on Google and started looking and eventually I found my first Rc car: the 1/16 brushed black on slyder. I never got bored of that thing then fast forward 4 months I got another Rc car: the blackzon 1/12 smyter. Now here I am and I’m 12 I just bought myself the Arrma Gorgon and it’s so good! I run it on a 3s battery and guess what? I break it and I have taught myself how to remove the gear cover and to fix things! Plus I also have a mini workshop for my cars in our shed. So what I want to say to you is…..thank you. You have allowed me to finally find my hobby and the thing I love to do the most. Thanks again Kev and keep up the good work!

With the erevo 1/16 you can put the brushed version motor plate and mount and put 1/10 scale brushless systems in it even 1/8 scale systems will fit.
With the ravine u need to remove the servo savers as they limit steering whilst crawling and the steering arms (rods) need steel wire inserting into them to stop them flexing .. had mine for years and still going strong

Kev, consider Vitavon parts for the X-Maxx 12S; they make parts to fit a giant motor while still keeping the gears enclosed so nothing gets in there and chews them up. It's all super high quality 7075 Aluminium too, I got some sway bars for my UDR from them, lovely craftwork.
Even the electric company knows when kev gets a new batch of rc’s……the elec cable to his building must be glowing chargeing them all up 👍👍

The Big Rock is growing on me too. I went to an RC swap meet and found and bought a brand new-in-box 1997 Kyosho Mantis 1/10 2wd. I'm so stoked! I love rare finds like that. You have lots of rare finds I want. I may do an unboxing of the Mantis. I think it would be cool. So when are you getting a real dirtbike? lol

I have a team associated rival mt10 and I think the steering servo gears have been stripped. I have a new servo fitted do I need to program it into the controller or to the car? I’m not sure what to do but it doesn’t work.
Any help/advice from anybody would be much appreciated as a 14 year old with no experience with rc cars. 👍👍

If your going to upgrade the Capra here’s what to do, get the Super Shafty front and rear axles amazing, get a rock pirates 3 gear transmission mount and a vanquish 3 gear metal transmissions super smooth and strong, replace the motor with the hobbywing fusion pro, get some vanquish all metal drive shafts, replace all the internal axle and portal gears with vanquish gears, install high clearance links and steering links from in the works rc, replace body panels with custom painted ones they sell them in clear ready to paint, new wheels and tires, new reefs 800lp steering servos amazing lots of torque, you will have a beast axial Capra like mine enjoy.

Just got a traxxas bandit vxl with a 3s lipo capable of 70+ mph!
Hi Kevin, can u help me please with my Traxxas Maxx wide V2? I already replaced almost everything which was mounted in the factory because that car 🚗 is a pain in the ... . I do not bash, just driving on street and field but everything gets broken.anyhow I do have a problem with the motor holder . it's moving after rollover or jump and gear pinion is not in place. Is there an other way to mount the stock motor?
