Appreciate how genuine you are mate! Keep the videos coming
Thankyou Sean, appreciate it mate 🙂🤙
I appreciate your complete transparency. There are many tubers who won't ever admit a mistake. Killer content bro!
Cheers bro, I really appreciate that, thankyou.
Anyone can go see the journey I've been on along the way, I don't always get it right, tho I'd rather be real 🙂.
Even with drifting, if you go right back to the beginning you can see the pretty well documented progression thus far 🤣😀🙂 🤙🙏
@@JoeYates77 that is the beauty of cars. you won't get everything right but you learn! your skills have come a long way too. you're out there doing it.
Yikes... I might need to fix my slightly dented sump too! Eeeeek! Great video brother! Props to you for doing the gearbox solo - wow.
Thanks Bro, yeah man it was really hard, just cause of space. Would of all gone to plan accordingly if that silly bearing carrier was the right size to begin with 🤪 doing it all over a 2nd time is never fun. Yeah, it would be worth flattening the sump back to normal if it's dinted for sure, pretty easy just a little time consuming. 🙂🤙
Old vid, but the sump and oil pickup is a massive SR weak point. even the slightest dent to the pan can be catastrophic to oil feed in and can starve the engine. A massive reliability upgrade is for any 180,S13,14 to get the S15 oil pickup tube which has better flow, and an enlarged sump.
Car looked the goods at Matsuri man, great to see this coming along
Thankyou Layne, appreciate the encouragement ✌ 🙂
yeah the s15 has stayed relatively intact & looking pretty sharp for a drift car since putting it back together, slowly getting a little better each time it goes out for a drift session 🤙🙂
@@JoeYates77 I was the idiot in the blue S15 giving you thumbs up on track
appreciate ur videos m8 👍
How's it going with the pedal feel? Looking at changing mine at the moment as am running a twin plate and it's an experience in traffic!
It's actually not that bad, feels similar to the Extreme HD organic I had previously. It definitely grips noticeably harder between changes at speed. The difference going from Extreme HD organic to DCS single cushioned ceramic was subtle once I got used to it. Pedal feel is great, similar to stock I'd say. It doesn't slip as much as an organic tho, but will still slip a little on initial take up of the clutch plate. Well that's what it feels like to me anyway 🙂
