Ever wanted to make $1,000,000 without doing anything? Well today we are going to play anno 1800 a management, strategy, city builder game without actually building a city!
That's right the spiffing brit is going to show off How To Get $1,000,000 in Anno 1800 with NO CITIES the core mechanic of the game! Now this seems a little perfectly balanced to me and perhaps the developers did not intend for players to avoid the entire game and just win an economic victory by trading shares and becoming a privateer! Some might think that anno 1800 hard mode is just normal gameplay on hard difficulty but today the no city challenge will prove them wrong! This is the true enlightened perfectly balanced way to play anno!
so it's time for me to flex my exploit skills and break the game with infinite money. My power is unstoppable and I will defeat this impossible challenge with all of my anno 1404 experience to discover if this game is broken or if it is perfectly balanced game!

All I could think about while listening to this was the Extra History episodes on the South Sea Bubble and how much the Spiffing Brit reminded me of John Blunt whenever he talked about selling shares to the Queen.

You just use the starting ship you get and search for the AI. Then you sink their ship. Because since you fired first and they try to run and thus don't even shoot back you win.

@@HeinerGunnar It def was unplayable for most when it came out back in 2007. I remember a lot of People with back then having high end setups complaining about having to play at 17-23FPS.
That said, i didnt mean to imply Crysis was or is a bad Game, but def a great example of "German Overengineering" - if you don't know what i mean. CZcams "Kraut Space Magic" and compare the German Gun Manufacturers Focus to that of the Crysis Devs and you see what i mean, it's not a bad thing, but it for sure is funny
There are many stereotyps about us germans. Some we hate, like the whole Oktoberfest thing and how a lot of people think germany just bavaria.
Some we agree with, like how we love beer. And love getting drunk with it. Or just in general.
But, the Stereotyp of germans loving logistics, order, systems and regulations... Is 100% true and we love it. Even we make those jokes about us. Like that you need around 15 years to get the rigths to build a gardening shack in your garden. Even if you own the land you build it on, espacially then. That people think of us so organized that they misstake the DB to be on time. Ever. Wich is still the funniest shit ever.

I would love to see how this works in multiplayer, just against the AI is already insane.
I mean eventually the better AI/ multiplayer opponents build a battleship and sinks your flagship but until then, you're making bank.

Oh how I would love to play this game some day.. I'm still so angry at ubisoft for pulling it off steam on launch day in favor of epshit.
The only reason I have Uplay installed (or whatever it is called now) is for the Anno series. I owned most on steam but having a launcher start another launcher to start a game was so stupid and anno-ying.
Made the swap to Opera GX recently, you can limit resources consumed and it's really great overall!
