  • We live in a world where everyone makes their own rules to fit their own lifestyles and assume that it is correct. Sometimes we are right but also wrong at other times. How do we maintain our modesty in such a modern world where there are so many opinions?

    Alhamdulillah for this video. I’m sixteen and I’ve been looking for videos on CZcams speaking of Haya and I couldn’t find very many. I was disappointed but then I came across this video and it’s simply amazing, Alhamdulillah. It’s getting more and more difficult in this day and age to find such sources I’m very thankful to have a social platform that is actually beneficial. Thank you Allah for bringing me this knowledge. These days CZcams is my biggest source for Islamic knowledge . Jazak’Allah for this video. My new favorite sheikh 💖💖

    Don’t know what to say. Living in such a nasty society that sometimes i feel grateful to the Almighty for the pandemic. At least some people are now staying at home instead of going to clubs, taking alcohol with girlfriends , though they are married and trying to establish their dirty habits as socialization.

    This is a reality for real, we live in a world where we are taught, pushed and encouraged since we arr children to not be shy at school, in society, everywhere...May Allah have mercy on us😭😭😭.
    I remember when i was at school i was sooo shy i couldn't even ask the teacher a question. But the teacher kept pushing me again and again to take away my shyness and it worked.
    But now I'm working really hard to have back my haya 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.
    May Allah forgive us and guide us to the right path ameen.

    I agree here but as a parent I am aware that I also have to teach my children the definition of hayaa. I always was told that having hayaa is to listen and obey the elder without listening to my own mind and standing for my own rights as a child and a women. When men speak I had to listen. When women judged I had to change. If I wanted to do something no neighbor was allowed to receive the news of it. I had to change this way of living by letting go this kind of hayaa to stand up for myself. There has to be a balans of having hayaa for people and standing up for yourself. This is what I teach to my children. I find it very complicated because people don't always appreciate it.

      Lol, people don't want you to fight for yourself because they want to abuse you. Simple. However fight for yourself doesn't mean being unfair with people, it simply means you do your best so that people respect those right God almighty gave you, and speaking your opinion is one of those rights, there so many story about that. Don't let people to walk on your feet simply because you're a woman, don't you know how the women of the time of the Prophet (pbuh) where behaving? They were modest, but they wouldn't hesitate to fight for their rights, for justice, for people, this is Islam.

    • @Justme-vq8rx
      @Justme-vq8rx Před 4 lety

      Islam is here so you can emancipate, and emancipation is not conform with the western value (like for a woman going almost naked in the street, shouting to get attention...), no, it's about you living a full life, like being respected as an individual, speaking to say what you have to in a respectful and a dignified way, the right to choose what you want for yourself as long as you're on the right path of Islam, saying no or asking question when things doesn't seem right (bc God gave you a brain, and it's not to use other's). Study Islam it's the best way not to get manipulated. And last thing if you fight your right do it intelligently, sincerely, with respect, and ask Allah to guide, and I'm saying that to you and me.

      Asalam-o-alaikum,
      Here is the verse from Surah Nur that forbids forcing your slave into sex without their consent.
      " But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful."
