- The panthers deliver another 3 goal win to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Things got chippy last night but the power plays are still struggling. The oilers need the home crowd to turn things around in game 3.

The thing about the pulling the goalie and that whole few minutes where then they also got the PowerPlay was that it looked like Knobby had no plan and didn’t know what to do in the situation. They had to call the time out because they didn’t have a second power play line that they trusted. The talk has been they’re only a few players and they’re only one line and they don’t have any depth, but to see it so plainly play out was something to behold.
If you are Paul Maurice you list barky as questionable (even if he 💯 can play) and force the safety committees hand here. Leon should be suspended either way but this way you help insure that happens.

I might have some bias as a Panthers fan, but NHL safety is playing with fire here. I don't want to see McDavid getting headhunted just as much as I didn't want to see that for Barkov. But when a player is allowed to make a very dirty hit against, objectively, the best player on the other team, and NOTHING is done about it? That's sending out a dangerous message.
Such a stupid ass play by Draisaitl. From an Oilers perspective, not only is it putting a target on Draisaitl himself, but every other player especially McDavid as well. It's a horrible way to get into the other teams head and it can easily backfire if the Panthers decide to take matters into their own hands.

Damn for once I actually agree with you Oiler fanboys. The Refs were terrible in this game. Even though my Cats won but even so I have to admit that calls were made where they weren't meant and call were not made where they needed to blow the whistle.
i love when Oilers fans pretend to be panthers fans so the crying about the refs seem better.
