Narrative against Florida this post season "The top guys have to be your top guys". Florida handcuffed them all. Kuch, Pasta, Panarin, and now McD and Drai. It's not that the top guys aren't showing up, it's that they are getting shut down.

This is the Florida PK that smothered the #1 and #2 power plays from the regular season. They don’t give you a chance to setup on the PP, and are ultra aggressive
I was screaming for the canucks to get more aggressive and active with their sticks on the PK. It’s nice to see a team finally do that.

Florida is a machine. They make great teams look silly. Tampa, Boston, NYR... These are all teams that you wouldn't' have been surprised to win the Cup this year. They all got dusted. Edmonton is just next.

Biz said it all. wrapped up this whole series with one sentence...Game 1, Florida was snoozing and still won. I just dont think, Edmonton can handle the aggressive defense of Florida and the fact that Bob is playing like a mad man. He refuses to let them lose another Stanley Cup final, two years in a row.

Let them keep underestimating. I’m glad the home crowd showed out in comparison to the rangers series but I think they thrive on the road more so than at home. I think they pride themselves on shutting down the crowd. Plus you’ve got an angry team that potentially plays without their captain.

Florida is a much better road team than they are a home team. This doesn't bode well for Edmonton. Florida's going to choke them out early and then the Edmonton crowd will turn against the oilers. I see no hope moving forward if you're an oiler fan this year. Better luck next year

Oilers are done, 1 goal in 2 games and the top 2 guys are getting manhandled.
They need to put in Pickard, it's not that Skinner is playing bad but he's not playing great either. That 3rd goal was kind of weak though. He hasn't made the big save when needed is the problem. Yea the team isn't scoring but at the same time you need your goalie to help you out a little and pick up the team when they aren't doing good. Bob did it in G1 mainly the first half when FL was sluggish.
Whit trying to cope saying 4 shots in the first period was a great period for the Oilers.

Flower was remarkable games three and four, it was Penguins depth scoring that put them through, and Datsyuk was out for games three and four. Crosby and Malkin deserve a lot of credit. But there were contributions up and down the lineup for the Pens.

Florida is a machine. They adjust to every and anything and what youll see now in game 3 is the panthers come out and play fast, smooth and a solid classic style, going to light up the net and put the oilers away. Edmonton cannot go down 3 and face elimination each game the rest of the series
It’s not that the oilers are bad, it’s that Florida will NOT be denied. Scary thing is Florida isn’t even playing their best hockey. If they can fix just 20% of the mistakes they made in the first two games oilers are toast, Florida still has another gear they can kick into. Also for the record, I hate the panthers, but seems like this is their year, and they deserve it if they keep up this level of play

15:00 the hit is a compression, light hit where he moves the pelvis together and probably caused some hip issues and he could be out. When a little hit like that does a lot of damage, its never a good sign.

In response to Army's comment on why cutting from the main game camera to the corner camera there is a jump ahead (or lag behind) in time, it is because there is a delay in the camera signal in one of the cameras. All cameras should be synced in so you can cut from any camera in the broadcast to any other camera without a time shift. Standard broadcasting practice is to avoid cutting to cameras who have a delayed signal during live play.

16:33 nurse played 3 shifts I think it was after the hit and he had shifts in the third so he was in the game, they just didnt want a compromised players, jumping into a tie game, being cold and out of the game flow.
