I think Heizou is a really well designed 4 star unit and his design is a lot easier swallow for a majority of people because he is specifically designed to deal damage
And he is a little bit of a soft support because he gives EM to the team after using his normal ability, now he's the new Bennet's companion on the OP 4 star gruop

I love him. He's the best 4* on field dps released in the past few updates imo. I have 2 teams currently, one with yanfei, one with ayaka (vaporise and freeze respective) . I'm planning on building team 3 for him now, as heizou dps. Let's see who I'll put on there. Any tips? I'm thinking xiangling, bennet and xingui
He's honestly almost perfect. This saitama with hair is also fun to play.
The only thing I am not too sure about is his charged attack and knock back. It robs DPS but adds challenge so it gives one and takes the other, depending on what you're looking for.

I feel like his burst was made like that so he would feel more like a Fighting game Character similar to Tekken and streetfighters. His skills are fluid and easy to execute a combo.

Thats a downgrade not sidegrade, even kazuha is a downgrade version of sucrose when it comes to national and taser comp

Well outside of the burst, at least heizou wasn't dirtied much like the previous 4 star characters, could've been a diferent story if the burst costed 80 like the other inazuman characters
Probably because heizou is the last inazuma character before 3.0 sumeru drops lmao.
I'm so glad he's at the very least decent and his burst doesn't cost as much as other inazuman 4* characters. Can't wait to try him out later.

@pengtotapenguin still using this build on him. Heizou, rosaria, barbara and either sucrose for more grouping or faruzan for dps. It's shockingly effective and he's been rocking through content
He's without a doubt the most fun catalyst character. I got him and he's instantly 80 8/8/8 now and doing damage at c0.
Heizou is 6/9/6 for me, my priority is his elemental skill. I'm not gonna crown him though, i only use crowns for my favorite 5-stars 🙂
Edit: Plus if i got some constellations for him someday (because i stopped pulling once i got c0 heizou) then it'll surpass the crown level so it'll be like 6/12/6.
how much is he dealing with his E I want know?
@@harsh298 currently it's 22k with full charge. 16k tap solo. Didn't use with Bennet yet. Burst was kinda low around 20k
Mine's 90 with 10/10/10 and that's the best decision I've made! His playstyle is so fun it makes me want to fight everything on the map. I love him.

I just tried his trial and OMG he feels amazing to play
I mostly wanted Heizou because I don't care that much for meta,his animation and style sold me the moment I saw them,he's very fun and a surprisingly powerful DPS,I prefer to run a 2 Piece Atk% and 2 Piece Wanderer(stats around 75% Crit Rate/210% Crit DMG) with the EM substats+A general 1600+ ATK,he hits like a truck,he's a breath of fresh air and I hope more 4 Star DPS come in the future,both Yanfei and Heizou are genuinely 5 Star tier in my opinion.
how'd you get such good stats for him TT I have trouble just hitting 60-120

Since his burst is low cost, I’m farming a 4 Piece Shimenawa for him.
Pairing him with my C6 Yunjin should make him a beast.
Heizou..Yun Jin..Thoma..Healer (?).. I wonder if that'd be a good team comp, especially with C6 Yun Jin/Thoma..
@@Storebror492 I have Kuki Shinobu with a 4 piece tenacity. Her skill gives a buff to my shield, applies Electro for swirling, and benefits from the 80 EM of Heizou’s Passive.

i'm doing that too, mostly because i don't want to that set after jean, xiao, sucrose, venti, and kazuha
Another advantage Heizou has over Sucrose is that he doesn't have to deal with Auto Targeting while Sucrose has to and it often makes her gameplay more awkward than it needs to be

Surcoses e skill auto aim sometimes sux so much that i want to stop playing her if she wasnt that good
I love so much heizou, I have at C1 with a crown on her e and he can deal more than 60k on his full stack skill, plus is suuuuper fun to play, at kazuha level of gameplay I think, so happy that at least one 4 star of inazuma was good enough
I hadn't heard anything about Heizou before pulling him while getting Kazuha. After an evening of experimenting, I'm really glad to have him. His animations/combat flow feels smooth and is fun. I also don't enjoy using Sucrose, so it's nice to have another option.

They finally made a new and exciting 4 star after months
I really like him and his flexibility. I believe with sumeru coming that hopefully they'll be some more unique characters to help make character like heizou and kuki shine. They're just too interesting not to use (same for poor, poor Thoma).

@@cupid2021 got him on the final 10 pull!!! I had spent time and resources for his gear too so now he’s already lvl 90 with 800+ em and 1200+ atk at 20.5k hp. Energy regen is only at 149% but I can still work on improving it. I’m so freakin happy rn omg!

Heizo as a tazer driver with crit build on a thundering fury 4pc set should be sick on paper. His E can reach up to around 1000% dmg modifier. Couple this with the widsith and an anemo dmg goblet and you'd be dealing good dmg with his E on a more manageable cooldown because of TF. His Q is also on a short 12 cooldown with a quick animation, making it viable to be dished out quickly.
Having a thundering fury set helps reduce the cooldown of his E and a tazer comp ensures he has the elements to swirl to get his stacks, extra energy generation from electrocharge, and electro reactions to reduce his E cooldown.
I'd go with the widsith for the crit dmg stat on this setup.
The Anemo dmg cup is self explanatory.
I believe building him with EM would be a waste as he seems to have a smaller aoe for meaning he'd have a harder time commiting mass genocide with swirls alone.
Also bonus of crit set = Easier to farm then EM. My team I think I’ll run at least for pure fun will be Heizou (TF), Xinqui, Raiden (or fish or Beidou) and Kazuha (EM Vv)
I think it's better to just build either VV or 2pcVV and an atk% 2pc, and give him sacrificial fragments instead. I still have to do the mock up artifacts test to confirm this but with a huge modifier he'll probably outdamage other options by just using the skill twice every other rotation while not sacrificing his artifacts for it.
@@ch1dd yeah, but you'd have to charge the second E once the fragments effect does trigger or you'd have to either hold on to it while you swirl or use it without that many stacks.
While on the TF set, you'd naturally get more E uptime while you accumulate stacks proccing swirls all around. Not to mention you'd get crit dmg from the widsith. I'd switch it to the solar pearl but i'm free to play and i think widsith would work with TF heizo better.
I feel it'd be a more fluid experience with TF+widsith than going for pure VV or VV2pc. Granted, you'd be missing out on some damage and that juicy VV utility but i plan on putting him on a team with xingqiu, fischl, tazer with a VV sayu for heals, VV utility and anemo resonance anyway.
@@christopherflores5405 What you said doesn't make a lot of sense, considering getting the stacks back doesn't change anything whether you use sac frags or TF artifacts. You'll lose out on either the vv 4 or 15%anemo+18%atk to get a half decent effect with TF. I don't have problems with using widsith, though in my mind if you just do two skill hits every other rotation, you'll compensate the extra damage widsith would give. all there is left is for me to run the numbers, but on paper it's pretty straight forward better.

I spent a whole month saving up his ascension and talent mats and I pulled for him as soon as I could. I got him C2 before I used up all 120 wishes I had saved up, and I immediately fully ascended him and got his talents up as high as I could. The only thing standing in my way of triple crowning him rn is Raiden. :"D
I don't think my artifacts for him are optimal, but they're the best I've got rn. But, despite that, he still did a whole fricken 25k damage with his fully charged e-skill and I was really ecstatic about that.
I know you people who can consistently get 50k-150k damage don't understand my excitement, but I am a casual player who has gone through the entire game never doing any damage over 20k, and I have actually been making an effort to build my characters better over the last couple months. :"D

Congrats for reaching 25k!! The first time I dealt 20k with my Ningguang's (my main) CA without Bennett buff (after spending a month doing the Archaic Petra domain), I bragged about it to my friends but those 3 crowned Ayaka, Ganyu and Hu Tao havers just couldn't understand what I've been through 😂
@@joyhammer3148 Lol. Now that i've built Heizou more properly and triple crowned him, he regularly hits around 35-40k with no buffs. It's great. I just need to change a couple of his artifacts to better stuff now. ^^

I've had a Skyward Altus sitting in my bag for over a year since it was my first standard five star but not applicable to any catalyst build I made (support sucrose) so it's nice to have a catalyst user to use it on. 💕💕
I think he can make use of Wanderer's Artifact set if you don't have time/energy to farm sets. 80 EM and 35% charged attack is pretty good, perfect hybrid set.
I have put him on 2 wanderer's and 2 gladiators. I think 18% attack buff is better for every attack, than 35% only for charged... Right 🤔

i love how fluid his play style is. i can go from normal attacks to skill to burst and not waste any time. the transitions in his attacks are amazing and he's fun to play so even if i can't get him to deal massive numbers i can't bring myself to care since he's just so fun

The Frostbearer catalyst could also be good on a Blizzard Heizou in a freeze team, especially with a hefty amount of atk stat.

I like Heizou a lot! Got him a strong VV set while farming for Kazuha, so I built an Aggravate comp around him (w/ Collei, Beidou, Fischl) which has been my Sumeru exploration team. I'm hoping this can be a team that Kusanali can elevate when she's released this fall.

I’m enjoying just sending Heizou with the Shogun, Xingqiu, and Thoma for the effects on natural attacks. Seeing him punch/kick swirl their elements has been a blast.
I really like characters like him and Tartaglia that have completely unique styles of play so I'm probably gonna build him.

I actually like him and it brings something to the table. I like how anemo units work in this game, none of them teally powercreeps the others, there's a time and a place (or a team comp) por each of them. And since they're always on demand, it's always good to have multiple options. I already have some teams in mind. Like, I have Childe international, Itto geo, freeze Ganyu and I always felt that I needed some way to get Xingqiu/Fischl/Beidou involved somewhere, since I have weapons, artifacts and constellations for them, and I think Heizou would be a great driver for that team.
if you ever wanna mix and match those, i've been using ganyu on the support alongside kaeya and xingqiu with heizou driving, it's insanely fun. Heizou brings kaeya's and xingqiu's ults to enemies. Ganyu is pretty and slaps people with the ulti. Overall super fun and powerful, i've been playing it because i wanted to use my ganyu and was tired of charging shots with her and wasn't dissapointed
Got him C1 with Kazuha ! I'll take my time with building him, since Kazu is eating all my ressources right now, but I will definitely be using him a lot, he's so much fun! I really appreciate his kit, the combos feel fluid and well-timed. I really hope we get more close-ranged catalysts users like him!

enjoying him with kuki, xiangling, + yelan rn for overworld, i love his playstyle and using a catalyst up so close. feels like a character that is easy and effective for newbies but also something new and interesting for those of us thatve been around forever lol
I’m enjoying Heizou quite a bit. I’ve been currently running around with the Shogun, Xingqiu, and Thoma for extra effects on normal attacks for his swirl punching/kicking.
Still amuses me people keep saying Shinobu’s last name as her first name. xD

He's really fun to play with, so far one of my fav 4 stars, I use him on a mono anemo team and he works very well
I wanted him for a while, since leaks bout him and learning he plays close combat like a monk. And I am not disappointed! He is so much fun to play and am super happy with him. Wasted no time getting him at least to lvl 80/90 lol. Also thank you for taking time to make guide. Was helpful learning can make him more physical dmg build than all EM and can save EM for Kazuha or Sucrose.

I've enjoyed Monk characters for a very long time and Heizou is continuing that trend! Since he has the sprint passive, I plan to steer him toward a D&D feel by equipping Lost Prayer for the movement speed bonus and pair him with Venti for both the gliding passive and Anemo Resonance. I'll have to both level and build Venti...
I got him c1 lost all my primos and i love it finally a fun character that I really like . Also got c6 thomas and c2 ningguang i think he and kuki are meant to be together in an emo club because he boosts 80 em and she benefits from that
I was genuinely shocked by how fun Heizou is! His attack animation looks so good making it enjoyable to use them to gain stacks. Anothe rthing I noticed is how different his sound effects are compared to other anemo characters. His has amore heavy sound which i think is because he covers his punches with anemo

@@demoncloud6147 now we almost have the avatar state with heizou + xingqiu + thoma. Only need a geo off field support with rock throw on auto attack and heizou can finally bring balance to the world
I think of Heizou's CC as I do about Xingqiu's healing: it's there, it's mostly not worth focusing on, and it might help you in some cases, but most of the time it won't make a difference during the battle. Heizou's C2 doesn't change that fact, sadly.
I think his q is meant to be like a spammable special skill as oppose to like a high damage one time burst. Which fits his NA playstyle
I think comparing him to Units like Sucrose are a bit unfair though, given that Heizou kind of breaks from the traditional "Swirl support Anemo Character" that most Anemo units are, his intended purpose is different from Sucrose, It'd be like comparing Bennett to Xiangling, they serve two different purposes even though they share the same element.
As a Venti main, I’ve forgotten how much folks are looking for crowd control- I’ve taken it for granted! 😂 I’m so happy to have Heizou and thank you for the stat info! 👍🏾
Funnest combos in the game for me personally his flow between using skill ult and autos is so seamless and cool looking I love it

I honestly wanted this guy when his gameplay was leaked and once I got to know that Yuuichi Iguchi was going to voice him, I got even more excited, he was the same VA who did Teppei. So I finally got him and I am thinking it's Teppei reincarnated who got his dream fulfilled and my man just did 26k with his E-skill :D
Played his trial and had a blast. Just got him but still need to build. Definitely a fun switch up from the typical somewhat clunky catalyst attack style.
I feel that the true purpose of the burst is more for light grouping purposes and automatically give one declension stack after cast.

Sevy He Ain't Even Out Yet!😂 The Quickness!
A surprisingly enjoyable comp I tried recently is Heizou, Xingqiu, Yun Jin and Zhongli. Yun Jin can super-charges Heizou's normals and in conjunction with geo resonance and Zhongli resistance shred, Heizou can pack a serious punch. Anemo is not the easiest element to buff but geo resonance and zhongli shield is a good way to do it. Xingqiu heals/damage reduction, Zhongli shield and Yun Jin counters offer very good survivability. Xingqiu gets a damage boost from vv shred and Zhongli shield as well. I doubt it's meta but it's fun.
I absolutely love him. Definitely my most fun 4-star to play with. I got him at low AR and I thought he was utter garbage and not fun to play with, but I’m now AR54 and I’ve spent so many resources and time on him haha. His kit is ridiculously fun and satisfying to play with especially hitting his ult the right time, also thank the heavens that you can charge his E withought needing to hold it!

I finally got him on my 12th pull. I was kinda hoping to build him as a DPS/Physical DPS (I know, sounds dumb for Phy DPS but that's how I build ALL my main characters lol) mainly cuz I love his normal attack and charged elemental skill, but learning now from the vid says other wise. I love heizou soo much!!! I just got him today n hes currently lvl50 n his e skill hit 30k without any buff!! I freaking love him 😍😍
My last ten pull on tbr standard banner was faruzan's c1 and this latest ten pull was Heizou, very happy
I luckily got a copy of him. really happy to use him!
His standard normal attack combo is so fun and fluid, up there with raiden and eula on the "clean" scale for me

60 Wishes. 4 Ningguangs, 3 weapons, Kazuha C1 and 1 Thoma. No Heizou for me... I give up on him for this banner. Frustrating...

Edit.: 23 more wishes and he finally came, along with 2 more Nings and a Kazuha C2. Fun thing is My ning already was C6 before all for this, and after almost 90 wishes later I only got Thoma and Heizou C0. Bruh...
Wanted him, got him with 21 wishes, luckily didn't pull Kazuha, 76 Pity !
I have no preparation for Kazuha, so don't want him rn
Update for those that plan to build Heizou DPS next week.
The best artifact set is Desert Pavilion Chronicle. Tulaytullah's Remembrance (5 stars) is the best weapon, or The Widsith / Solar Pearl (4 stars).
I love this character, Definitely recommend. My team doesnt have much AoE potential yet, so his burst and 4 stack punch make it so that i hit multiple enemies with solid damage. If you're F2P like me consider using Amber's bunny, i have lots of fun pulling enemies close to the bunny and watch them explode.
Right now I am trying heiz xin and kookie with yelan and it's working better than I thought

I've tested Heizou with a 4-piece VV set, but I didn't really like the results, you know? I really wanted HIM to do the damage and not only drive, so I'm thinking of using him with Shimenawa! Any thoughts?
I've got C6 Kazuha and C6 Heizou. They literally support eachother in the same team. So OP. Best banner for primo savers
I run heizou in a team with kazuha, xiangling, and yelan and im probably going to post a build, and rotation video. It is fun to play and I think if I had better artifacts on my xiangling, and heizou they would hit a little better but over all this is one of my favorite heizou team comps Ive tried
during the beta, his burst didnt have a suction mechanic at all and his c2 provided that suction. im just glad they changed it
A fun team that I ran for a while was Jean (at least c2 for the attack speed boost with her E) Raiden (with her constant attacking E) yelan (with her burst) and heizou NA was pretty cool to see and the damage isn't bad either especially with how fast he's able to attack because of Jean
