Got all characters in hu tao banner, C3 DIONA
AR55 and no Diona, pulled a couple of multis in current Hu Tao's banner and still no Diona. Got C0 Thoma and my first Sayu at C1, though. Strangely happy i also didn't get Hu Tao, since i'm considering to instead save my guarantee for Albedo/Ganyu so who knows when i'll have Diona. Hopefully she will be on Ganyu's banner or at least be included in the monthly Paimon's Bargain Starglitter shop.
I was AR55 when I pulled her. It was a while ago so I don't remember the banner but I use her in Co-op, she's C-5.
I pulled her first in Yoimiya's banner. I love her
I got Diona at AR 20+ around version 1.4. I'm really happy about her being my best support unit up to this day. Having shielding + healing + decreased stamina consumption + movement speed + enemy dmg reduction + elemental mastery at c6 all in one character makes me feel luckier than those who pulled four 5 stars in one x10 pull. Hoping to see more of your videos Sevy 😊

id also like to add that for those with C2, use press instead of hold when doing coop for u to provide better shield uptime to your teammates bc the cons effect only lasts for 5s (press CD is 6s, hold CD is 15s).
I hope they would change it. 5 secs is like nothing and even the shield hp is halved. If you look at Zhongli's c2 not only is it the full duration but also the full shield hp. I know Zhongli is 5* but at least make the duration the same.

I admit I been sleeping on Diona...she is so little that I tend to keep her in the house or out in the yard but I don't let her go to the scary abyss with all those tough monsters.
After watching this maybe I should, since she has proven to be so useful. It's just rough watching the kids grow and strike out on their own with all the dangers out there.

i just got her to C6 when i was pulling for Hu Tao. I only used he sparingly before, but i had her at level 70 and high talents so i am teaming her with Hu Tao while I finish building them. Its super nice having a healer and a shielder in one character! I did get a C0 Thoma and will build him later, just dont have any resources for him yet while i build out Hu Tao and Diona.
That EM on C6 is so nice.

I got diona when she was release that was also when I started playing. She has never left my team, has carried me from the start. She honestly one of the best supports. We actually have the similar build :3 but my diona has crowned talent for skill and burst because she deserves it.
thanks for another great video, this is pretty well known and is on the wiki, but if ppl aren't aware, sac bow works fine at low refinement since each of the paws can proc the effect independently, meaning you have 5 chances to get the effect to trigger each time
That point about her cleansing with her shield, giving the cyro element, is actually really useful to know for abyss, using her press-skill to quickly cleanse elemental debuffs (bat hydro as mentioned).

Since the last Zhongli banner I have been using her. She has been a great shielder and alternative. I am mostly a GEO user and her shield has genuinely been a useful utility character. If you have her, I highly recommend her as a great if not excellent shielder, if built properly.

Her C4 is pretty useless for shieldbreaking since Diona is the only archer with a 2.5s ICD on her charge attacks. So even if she charge attacks faster, she isn't applying cryo faster at all. This is as inexplicable as her having that cryo bonus ascension stat.
Also, Sac Bow is a great option for increasing her cryo battery ability, too, since she can double-proc her E for a large burst of particles. Diona's E has one of the largest energy particle generation in the game at ~4 per hold-E, so doing it twice gives an immediate charge of 8 cryo particles - this is enough to battery large parts of even expensive bursts like Ayaka. Fav bow is nice, but since it can't proc off-field it usually just amounts to ~6 colorless energy per 15 seconds, which is good for non-cryos but less optimal if there's an expensive cryo teammate you want her to primarily battery for (like Eula or Ayaka).
Yeah, but like:
*Sacrificial Bow needs R4-R5 to be really good, and unlike Favonius, you start with 0 copies of the thing.
*Double Held E means higher field time.
*Sac Bow has less ER for more Base DMG. That's usually bad for Diona as her DMG is so-so while her Support abilities, including Elemental Burst, are good.
Now, is it even possible to funnel both waves of particles to another character when using Sac bow without swapping Diona in-between?
If not, that adds another 1-1.5 secs of character swapping.

What about using her Charged Attacks after your Skill and Burst is cooling down in multiplayer ?
I mean, I think it's better to do Charged Attacks and doing CRIT DMG to gain particules from Fav Bow than doing nothing

That was such a good point about using an hp circlet over a healing bonus one. I have her on a healing bonus circlet, but i noticed that i rely on her more for shielding than healing, so i will definitely switch to an hp circlet for stronger shields. Cheers, thanks!

What you didn't mention is that sac bow procs on every paw hit so you don't necessarily need a higher refinement rate for sac bow making it her best in slot

I got Diona on her first banner with Tartaglia I think? I first slept on her but eventually changed my mind after trying to build her and now she's a must have in my team for spiral abyss!
Got my Diona C4 during Yoimiya's banner, now she's my go-to shielder for when I want to coop with lower-leveled friends when I don't want to just run in with my fully-built Yoi and one-shot everything. Currently have 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith, all HP% main stat artifacts, and Favonius Warbow. It's super fun giving everyone constant shields~

I've been leaning into using my Diona to round out team comps I otherwise was unsure of whom to use (and my friends would tell me needs a Zhongli when he gets a rerun).
i've been playing with diona for months and have her c6. she never leaves my team!
also during that one year anniversary genshin theater (???), it is said i've been playing with diona the most compared to all of my other characters. i have zhongli too but using diona is more convenient to me for some other situations.
Dionna is definitely one of my favorite characters in the game. I've got her c6 and with a r5 sacrificial bow. Though I haven't gotten a chance to grind artifacts for her, she's still does a great job keeping my Yanfei alive lol

Sacrificial Warbow is a better general weapon for Diona imo, mainly due to Favonius heavily relying on having crit rate to trigger its ability (meaning that you want to be pickier about your substats) - also even with an R1 Sacrificial, every single paw has a chance to reset the Icy Paws (92.224% chance to reset just at R1, 99.968% at R5).
I would argue if you have proper artifacts to support either weapon, then you should choose whether to create additional cryo particles vs white particles

diona is awesome! i mostly pulled on hu tao's banner for her c6 (which i did get) and im so happy :D her shield is literally so good its insane literally carried me through the maguu kenki in abyss because of the extra cryo absorption and healing
For me, I only use Diona for, Shiled and healing in my team, but I wanted to make her at least a little bit of dmg, she's only level 70, and planning to make her level 85/90

Diona is one of the first four stars I got. And she has been in my team for all the time since. She is very useful and can be in every situation team comps. Provides Shields, heals, Speed boost, Stamina consumption, applying cryo, and generate particles. She is my second friendship 10 character besides Xingqiu.

I love pairing her with Mona or Barbra for quick swap perma freeze on ruin guards. I play on controller and hitting their weak spots a pain for me 🤣
I didn't use her till ar 45, but when i realized shes my actual first c6 character i decided to build her. Definitely a good choice, at this point her shield barely breaks so for non-hu tao teams i choose her even over Zhongli

one note on the favonious warbow r5 for diona, from the times i've used her with 39% crit rate, holding the E, 9/10, will activate warbows effect. so no need to use a crit rate circlet, use an hp circlet instead. if not using warbow or sac bow, aim for 200 er, if using warbow or sca bow, aim for 170-180 er. Elegy is amazing on her.

Hmm, I've had Diona since Zhongli's banner and she's currently at C5. I have her with 4pc TOM for the buffing of teammates, also have HP, cryo dmg, and Healing bonus for coop.
I didn't built diona until i encountered those pesky 2 giant jumping lizard combo in the abyss. They have so many knock up abilities that always stagger my characters and they burst so much damage. She became a handy support for me ever since. Now she became a handy battery for Eula and an occasional melt damage enhancer when defeating weekly bosses after reaching c6. Also my first 4* c6 character since she always pop up on my standard banner pulls (and occasionally makes an appearance on limited although she isn't featured on the banner).

Currently at C3. So that means 3 more Dionas to pull for, and my pyro characters would enjoy her company even more when that time comes. I love playing her especially in coop. She's currently outfitted with a 4-set Millelith focusing on HP. ER is unfortunately on the lower side, however when I do run her I tend to also rely on either Cryo resonance (with Ayaka or Rosaria, in which the latter also happens to be a nifty battery) or I happen to be running Sara and the Raiden Shogun in the team (the other support being Bennett), and most of the time the teams she happens to be in can afford downtimes for her burst.
Zhongli and Diona spoiled me rotten, it's hard for me to go almost anywhere in Teyvat without them shielding my team away from enemies. Sure there's the new Abyss Wolves, but Diona and Bennett outheals their corrosion enough to let the Shogun deal divine punishment without perishing herself. And then there's Kokomi.
Seriously, when you have a character like Diona, it's hard to *not* use them. Her kit might not be as specialized as there are better shielders, better EM buffers, and better healers, but when one character provides for so much it just makes teambuilding so easy.
I main so many characters that use Diona and I run her with sac bow and 2p tenacity 2p maiden. A team I really like is Ayaka, Diona, Mona, Kazuha. I use Diona's hold E first to get the shield, then I swirl with Kazuha to group them and get that sweet cryo dmg bonus and cryo shred. I switch to Mona to freeze and/or omen and it's time for Ayaka to go wild. Another niche use I like is using her in tandem with swirly anemo (i.e, Venti, Kazuha, Sucrose). She can easily infuse the swirls with cryo and if she's c6 she can boost the anemo character's EM for extra carnage.
Just randomly pulled her on the weapon banner. I'm terrible at aiming on mobile but im willing to get better for her. I love how she's so versatile

She is easily the 2nd best shielder in the game behind Zhongli. She just provides so much support and has the ability to fit on every single team comp. I built her around Hu Tao's 1st banner and has been a staple in my abyss rotation (since I didn't pull for Zhongli either time)
Actually need to farm artifacts for her since she's C6. Also have to say that Eula and cryo resonance is kinda a hard one since you want Superconduct to be triggered which cancels the cryo on enemies from what I can tell.
So I tend to use her as Shield/Heal for my Yoimiya team to get more damage out of Vaporizing Xingqius rain Swords
Also something to note, I like to use 4 piece Tenacity because I co-op a lot. However outside of co-op, it's not exactly useless, while the buff only lasts three seconds, that's more than enough tike to snapshot on certain abilities and bursts.
I got my first Diona on Xiao's banner (My first 5-star btw), C1 on weap banner, C2 on the event in Mondstadt and C3-C11 on the char banner. I have her on R3 Sacrificial and even if she steals my 4star pity, she is still super OP in Morgana or in any team. I almost don't need the Zhong. Planning to crown her shield soon

I hope my question can be answered by anyone or by Sevy since I'm currently building my C5 Diona. Does 4-pcs Noblesse Diona still work as a healer/shielder like how efficient the 2 pcs Millelith and Ocean Hue does? I just need some clarification since I want my Diona to buff and at the same time, can still heal and shield effectively. I currently follow your first recommendation of 2 pcs Millelith and 2 pcs Maiden (but I use Ocean Hue instead since I don't have maiden anymore). But I'm also thinking of putting 4 pcs Noblesse with all HP on the main stat. Which of these two sets is best for Diona as buffer, shielder, and healer all in one? Please do enlighten me. Thank you!
I got her at C2 or C3 during Yoimiya's banner and she has 100% been carrying me since. There's so much stuff I'm sure I survive only thanks to Diona. I also love that she's great in coop.
As luck would have it, I just got her to C6 on Hu Tao's banner!
I just got her from ayaka banner . M so sad . I wanted ayaka. And then just after the pull i got diona again . Now m out of primos
