I got her 2pc Blizzard Strayer (she’s my support for my Mona), and 2pc of the energy recharge artifacts I forgot the name. I might be wrong on my build though!

@Agus Baihaqi It only has a 3 second down time, but yeah. She doesnt synergize that well with dps that likes staying on-field for a long time (like Razor). I still use her since I like the cryo resonance with Qiqi, and she's the only viable shielder I have.
@@hiimapop7755 I think she works good with razor cause she can shield and also apply cryo so u can do super conduct and decrease physical resistance aand u can have her with 4 pc noblesse so using her ult increase razors dmg and apples more cryo to trigger more super conduct and also heal razor up if he needs it
Wait excuse me? My friends that were trying to tell me how good her shield was were getting their shields popped in like 2 hits from some strong enemies.
Then my Noelle just tanks an army for about 12 seconds no problem. There is no way Diona has a stronger shield.

You should build her with hp, hp, hp/ healing bonus. She has the second strongest shield in the game besides zhongli and is a good healer. Also if u use her as a shielder and healer in spiral abyss, she rlly good.
At C2 her skill shields the whole team, while her C6 burst is basically the elemental reaction version of Bennett with healing and EM boost. Also, with C4 you can use her to rapidly apply Cryo to take down the Hydro Abyss Herald. mihoyo really just looked at this cat and thought about how they could make one character do everything (short of being an optimal main DPS).
Build her triple hp imo, her shield will be so good that you won’t need the healing bonus

Diona’s shield is the second best in the game actually…. It gets an extra 75% bonus if u hold it, Moga. Also, go full hp pls

my diona is a BEAST at lvl90 with 32k hp, she can tank so many attacks and she's been with me since day 1.. glad to see you giving her the love she deserves!
Which artifacts are you using?
@@765Kati 2piece wanderer's troupe and 2piece tenacity, everything is hp and her weapon is the windblume ode because i dont have any other support bow :D

@@765Kati i reccomend going for 4piece tenacity instead of 2piece 2piece if you manage to get good artifacts!
why not favonius bow for ER to get her Q back faster? I run sacrificial bow right now, 2 piece tenacity, 2 piece maidens with hp time/goblet/hat. will eventually replace maidens with ER set.
Moga building Diona as a cryo sub dps makes my gut feel tightened as heck. Moga if you'll see this just build her

HP% goblet
HP% sands, ER might work too but hey with Sacrificial 160-180% ER is enough already
You can build her uniquely with 4 set Instructor set (a 4 star set you can only get from weekly bosses so that could be a flex)

✔️ If you don't have anyone on your team that's using 4pc Noblesse Oblige, then equip her with it
If you already do, then your options slightly spices up. Because some 4 star sets are actually viable when it comes to a character like Diona, like 4pc Instructor or 4pc Exile set.
✔️ Instructor boosts up your teams Elemental Mastery after triggering a reaction. Very useful for Freeze comps like the famous MORGANA because you can apply wet status using Mona, Diona E to create FREEZE reaction and shield, Venti E→Q, Ganyu Q→E then Ganyu Charged attack spam
✔️ while Exile provides you with tons of Energy for your team so you can Burst Spam more frequently
(that's why lock those Instructor+Exile Artifacts because you might need those).
✔️ 4pc maiden's is also viable.
✖️ Farming blizzard strayer specifically for Diona is a big waste of resin.
✖️ 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith is not very ideal
✔️ although you can mix 2pc Millelith with either 2pc Maiden's or 2pc Emblem, depends if your ER substats are lacking
✖️ 4pc Emblem is not a good option as well so don't bother with that
For weapons either Favonius or Sacrificial.
If you have Favonius, your substat focus must be
ER>HP%>Crit Rate>Any
Achieving at least 180% (200% is safer) ER
and 60% crit rate no need to strive for crit damage since you're just focusing on Proc-ing Favonius effect.
If you have Sacrificial then similarly to the first weapon but without the need to focus on your crits on your substats.

Well noelle shield is similar in terms of resistance, although it has more cooldown
@@stonehead4775 noelle’s shield has way less uptime and i think is only something like 10% stronger, so diona’s is more reliable. it also does cryo dmg which you can use to reverse melt

Diona is just all the support you need for battle or exploration. Healing (✓) shield (✓) buff (✓) cryo element proc (✓) debuff (✓) shield that protect and doesn't obscure archer's vision (✓) , she is the best and a very well thought support.

She often gets passed over for characters like Zhongli and Noelle, but she’s definitely carried my team with her shields and healing due to me not having Zhongli.

Well for Eula and ayaka comps she is kinda a necessity due to virtue of being best cyro battery, even Morgana team

Diona was the first 4* that I pulled, I love her sm. She carried me from Ar6 to Ar24 and now I am at Ar45 still using her, and plan to triple crown her too!
I felt so much pain when you were contemplating refining a r2 into the r3 sac bow. But than was met with instant relief when it showed that it all adds up. To be fair no one really refines weapons with already refined stuff so makes sense
Diona's shield is actually the second strongest in the game after Zhongli's
I'm pretty sure Beidou's E shield is actually the highest scaling shield in game
@@noopnoop3080 technically Yanfei takes the cake for that with her c4, but normal c0 shields Noelle's 30% hp one is the strongest by a small margin, but that has low up time so Diona's is the most reliable after Zhongli's.

For copium: Diona gains cryo damage per level. And her charge attack is 60% faster inside her bust wich gives additional Elemental mastery. Yeh DPS Diano is viable
Well no that's exactly why diona is shit cause she's a Support but mihoyo gave her different scalings, if she didn't get cryo damage as ascension stat and more smth like ER, Healing, HP whatever would be better but no one is playing her cryo damage charge attack in her ult cause it's it rly viable which is sad

There are people who have made DPS Diona and do fine damage, sure she's meant to be a support, same as Zhongli. And just like Diona, Zhongli scales up his geo dmg % with ascensions (well Diona is cryo but whatever). You know, that guy who is largely heralded as having the best shield in the entire game? Bruh.
People have also made Zhongli into a DPS, despite that not being his intended "role". These characters are specifically made with the flexibility of choice on the part of the player. But ok, be miserable.
Diona worked her way onto my main party. She compliments Razor perfectly.

Her shield is so strong it’s the second strongest shield in the game after zhongli, you should focus more on hp and give her healing bonus also give her 4 noblesse oblige to boost your dps atk this way she’ll be the perfect support [strong shield+great healing+atk&em boost]^^
I using full maiden on her and she is my main healer since 1.1 update. Now she able to heal 5.6k hp each prog 😄. Does full noblesse works in coop? Your build suggestion kinda interesting if able to support in coop mode.

Is there a certain lvl her talents and diona have to be for her shield to be strong? Bc my diona's shield literally breaks very easily and doesn't last as long as I expected. She's lvl 80 with 20k Hp and lvl 7 shield.
@@ameliab2829 lvl 7 or 8 is great, build more hp on her, around 28k-30k+ will be really nice strong and satisfying👍🏻

I started raising her when I got Ayaka since I dont have rosaria and geo isnt good for freeze comps bc of shattering
That refinement from 3 to 5 is actually a neat fact that I am only discovering now. I always get paranoid while refining weapons, double checking to make sure that I'm refining the right one. Now, if only weapon level would transfer as well... but I doubt that is the case.

I’m gonna build my diona soon but don’t know what artifacts to use for her. She’ll be a cryo support / healer in my team for amber since she’s my main :D what artifacts should i use for her?
Most people use 4 piece Noblesse just to buff your carry, and use HP sands HP goblet HP Circlet or Healing Bonus Circlet (crit rate circlet if you're running favonious bow instead of sacrifical because you want to crit in that case), she's not a good dps tho, that cryo ascension bonus is stupid. Her shield and heal is nice tho, and with noblesse you can buff your team so yeah.
@@iluvcats4597 go for 4 nobless all hp main Stat. That does the work. If you don't have a EG bow or low crit for favonious maybe try an EG sand, but usually try to get that in the substats
@@iluvcats4597 noblesse, all HP, aim for ER and crit rate substats. use favonius unless your main carry is cryo then use sacrifical
@@iluvcats4597 4pc noblesse is the way to go, with all hp% main stats. if youre using fav bow, aim for some crit rate atleast 30% maybe if low refinement (the paws hit and may crit individually, there are 5 of them. with higher refinement, 25% crit rate is enough for me). aim for energy recharge and hp% substats in general. sac bow is also a good choice for a weapon
