- Being a main DPS can be dangerous. There are constant updates releasing new characters that can outclass the old one. Diluc with Hu Tao, Keqing with Raiden Shogun, Tighnari with Alhaitham, etc. One of the victims of this is Ningguang, but I feel that Ningguang is so much more than an outclassed 1.0 DPS. She has one of the most unique playstyles of all characters, and in this challenge I found that out.
Rules:
I can only use Ningguang in battle.
Any puzzles that require another element can be completed with another character.
No Co-op.
All catalysts are allowed.

You say this as a joke, but I remember literally throwing rocks over the school fence and breaking peoples windows once or twice… I think one was a Greenhouse.
It is likely that Ningguang was originally meant to be a 5-star, and her normal attacks would get stronger when passing through her Jade Screen.
They most likely made her a 4-star because they thought that having only one 4-star Geo character (Noelle) available in the beginning when the game first released wouldn't be the best idea.
And also too many 5 stars being released at that time or smth I think
@@coffeebear6292 it was two a patch, so idk why they couldn’t come up with a different 4*, and make ningguang release in 1.6 instead of kazoo, because (i wasnt playing but i imagine this is what it was like) you couldn’t ascend kazoo due to the lack of a magu kenki

There was a lack of geo 4* characters so she became a 4*. If she was a 5* then Noelle (during the time) would be the only 4* geo character.

Ningguang was my first ever main when the game came out and i'm so happy to see someone give her the love and time she deserves, she's an amazing dps with a rewarding gameplay imo
Ninguang absolutely carried me through early game till I got to about ar 35 or so. Then chongyun and ar 59 and going strong.
Ningguang in both lore status and design deserves to be a 5 star but nooooooo. Also she is the only character that trivializes oceanide and the lightning oceanide. I saw ppl complaining about the lightning one is sooo hard when it came out but with Ning it was so easy to farm it

Ikr. But I'm a retired Ningguang Main. I finished building and playing as get ever since she become "the delete button". I only use her in challenges and she destroys everyone.

I honestly wish she was a 5 star. Imagine how cool that burst would be? I'm pretty sure it was because at the time they had more 5 stars than 4 stars and they wanted to balance it out,explaining why barbara has a 5 star ult!
I dunno about that. She's been there since 1.0. To this day there is no standard banner 5 star geo but they already had a 4 star geo in Noelle. They could have put her as a 5 star standard banner character.

I used to main Ningguang from early AR until I became a Nahida main. Ningguang is still one of my favorite characters and I think she's still extremely underrated. This video makes me want to main her again.

same, i used to main noelle early game and someday decided to switch to ning and pull zhongli for her… endless pain because then she was my only decent build character and i couldn’t even use her on gimel

I feel you, I’ve been playing for a little over a year now and still haven’t gotten fischl, on my second account she was my first ever 4 star which really annoyed me since I want her on my main so much (I also got kujou sara on my second account which I don’t have on my main but tbh I don’t really care to have her or not)

A thing I really enjoy about her is just how she utterly trivializes Rhodeia.
love the solo content. The wishing luck go crazy. The jokes are great but the changes in audio volume are practically jump scare levels.
My brother and I both started playing Genshin at about the same time during the first Tartaglia banner. He immediately fell in love with Beidou, but I had my eyes on Ningguang from the beginning. I actually ended up getting Beidou c6 before I even got Ningguang's C1 sinking all of my beginner wishes into that banner, and I didn't even get Tartaglia either (though that was a blessing in disguise, because the next banner 5-star was Zhongli, and I ended up getting c1 from that banner).
Since then, my secondary team has always been headed up by my Zhong-Guang Geo power couple, which has only been getting stronger as I unlock more constellations (currently c6 Ningguang and c3 Zhongli). They both compliment each other really well, and even though the other two members of that team have changed pretty frequently, I don't think I'll ever swap them out. I'm too attached, and I'm so used to playing them both that it'll just feel wrong if I change it up.
So funny: I got a ningguang figure at my local Asian supermarket and this video gets recommended

She was one of the first character that I c6 in early game and my first 5* weapon was skyward atlas. So I saw that a sign from the archons and mained her. I never thought I would simp for a woman and also started this game to do husbando lmpact but Ninguang became an exception. She is the queen of my account and my heart.
Ningguang was my main before HuTao and I absolutely love her. Having her is like a having a claymore user as well.

It's funny how despite being overlooked, Ningguang is still practically the most reliable Geo unit to build if you think about it. Unlike the other Geo DPS units who are all Noelle (yeah, I don't care if Itto is better I still see him as just a 5s Noelle), Ningguang gives something different. She doesn't scale off of defense and is actually built like any usual DPS units. Sadly, because of Gorou, releasing Geo units that doesn't scale on Defense will make Noelle and Itto overshadow them. Since Gorou's buffs are better for units that also scales on defense.
Maybe Navia will change something, hope so

@@liyan00 yeah, the sudden reveal that Navia will be attack scaling too was quite surprising. But considering Geo will also get a new set. It's possible that she may change Geo teams. Sadly, it doesn't seem like she's going to be the Geo unit that'll save Geo entirely. Right now, Geo is still a Niche.

Dude Ningguang was my first 4 star from a banner (ignoring 4 stars we get for free) and she carried my gameplay! I love her so much, she was my first main (my new main being Yelan).
Aside from geo slimes and that 1 geo cube boss, she could solo anything with style.

ningguang carried my game until AR 55 since i got a lot of 5 stars now, but i still use her because she's so convenient to use and so fun to play if you know how to walk cancel and her kit is so easy to understand

I watched a video of Ning soloing Childe and decided that the next time I wanted to build a random character for fun, It'd be her. Ended up building her after I got her C6, she's actually so fun to play.

Lady Qixing is my first character i got as a newbie.. Turn me into GEO Mains/Mono until today~ Currently i used Husk on her..
Still my main, and has been since just before 3.0. Not the best or the fastest, but she's fairly good and constant in being able to damage everything. Or when you don't want to constantly swap characters to deal with various Fatui shields.

When I first started Genshin 2 months ago, I used my free 10 pull and got Beidou, Ninguang, and Razor. I didn’t know anything about Genshin regarding pity so I didn’t realize how lucky that 10-pull was, anyway I’m AR-48 now and I use her in my main team, along with Kaeya, Xianling, and Aether, although I’ll be replacing Kaeya with Wanderer soon. I’m F2P as well
I wish there was a petition to make Ningguang 5 star character.

She is my all time favorite character i was so stocked when i got her . My nianguan is only lvl 70 at ar 50 and world level 5 or 6 and she isnt fully built and does like ten k charged attacks and 5 or 6 k regular attacks ppl say she is bad but she is amazing specially when paired with navia or other geo unit .she beats bosses effortlessly even childe .
Also my nianguan is only c2
