so my biggest question is i have a extended warranty on 650 xmr 2022 and if i were to buy a empire and this would the tune leave a footprint on the ecu or when changing it back to stock it doesn’t even show up as it was messed with?

I'm interested in improving fuel to air mixture at the lower rev range of my 2018 Yamaha MT09 (with stock exhaust and filter), since it comes very lean from the factory to pass Euro4 emissions. I've noticed that my bike pics up power after 3k revs and seen some tune maps from dynos that managed to start power a lot sooner which makes for an improved throttle pic up especially in tight hard corners and in low speed traffic. I took a look at your maps but there are so many of them to choose from that it got me a bit confused. Is it a guessing game on which map to choose from? I'm not looking to improve power, there's enough of that for me on this bike, I just want a sweeter, more gradual throttle from the get go. Can you help?

If the vehicle is drive by wire, the PV3 will work.

Once the ECU is flashed with a tune is it required to leave the tuner installed on the vehicle or can you remove the tuner and keep the performance tune?

To know for sure, you'd have to connect the PV3 to the vehicle and send us the PV_Info file. If we do not have support, you'd be able to send in your ECU so we can get the necessary data and we can send it back. You can contact PVtech@dynojet.com for more info.

Any modifications to the vehicle can technically void the warranty.
But once no longer under warranty I wouldn't hesitate. A tuner alone can really improve many things on a stock machine. If you dream of more power from various modifications like exhaust and whatever your going to need a tuner to change the fuel air mixture for those modifications. The only consideration I have when choosing a tuner is what the tuner is capable of doing. Some tuners are only going to help with minor bolt on modifications. On my harley davidson I have done huge modifications and I went with a complete ECM replacement that gave me complete control of my electronics. So choosing what you want is going to need consideration as to how much your going to do to your machine.
Considering this for my '17 Africa Twin. Doesn't seem to be very many 'tunes' available for my bike. I am not an engineer, just a rider. How would PV3 increase my bikes performance, given I'm a novice???

I have just bought a 2021 Honda CB650R. I want to derestrict the engine by changing the air flow by replacing the air trumpets. The pipes are stock. Can the Dynojet PV3 program retune the bike for the extra air? and also will the PV3 stiil leave my ECU with the original flash if the bike needs to be restricted again if I sell it. Thanks Steve
Yes, the Power Vision reflash device updates the tables directly within the ECU to optimize the air/fuel ratio. You can switch between multiple maps in the device. Therefore, if you wanted to return back to stock you would just reflash it with the stock file.

Unfortunately it does not. As far as Can-Am Renegades and Outlanders go, the PV3 only works on 2019+ models that have throttle by wire.

Lowers the tempature at wich the rad fan comes on, making your machine run cooler. Also removes top speed limiter

I have a 2018 Sportsman XP 1000 is necessary to run 91 octane gas to get any real power gains with your Dynojet?
Dynojet tests everything on 91 octane. As long as there is no lock present, power levels on 91 vs. 87 would be the same. To tap into the WHP gains from the Power Vision 3 on your Sportsman though, we strongly recommend going with the manufacturer guidelines and running 91 octane.

Walter, if you just want to AutoTune your bike, we recommend a Power Commander V with the additional AutoTune module. If you want to access more stock-improved tunes and have more control over performance, we recommend the Power Vision 3. The only software you need (for either the Power Vision 3 or Power Commander V) is our Power Core Software, which is free to download to any Windows computer.
Unless you're planning to tune multiple vehicles with the Power Vision 3, you do not need to purchase a tune license.

But when I enter my vehicle and product (power vision) it just gives me a list of “ stock file” do I have to download that power vision to actually see the tunes? Also if I don’t see my exhaust and air filter combo can a tune be provided elsewhere as I don’t want to buy an exhaust then not be able to tune my bike properly.
I’m considering buying this product but I just want to be sure it’s right for me before I do buy.

Peter, we can unlock the Euro restriction but we have not released the firmware to do so. We hope to have something released in a couple weeks.
The 900 does not have a restriction in the U.S., but we can increase the speed and RPM limits if desired.

What is the most power or rpm or what not could I get from just this on a seadoo spark 60hp?
Mason, with the modifications made in the tune, you will have better throttle response and acceleration, as well as a bit more power because of fueling and timing modifications.

I just installed a powervision on my 2017 Iron 883, and immediately after flashing, my bike is clicking constantly when the keys on, and the engine temperature gauge on the PV changes from 68-70 at the exact time its clicking..why's that? It's never done that clicking before, and also now my gas light is on all of a sudden.

It depends on your configuration. If we have a tune already developed for your configuration, it can be as simple as plug - flash - play. If there is not a tune developed you can visit a local dyno tuning center to have your vehicle dialed in correctly.

Is it true that Dynojet restricts customers from using it on mutiple vehicles, forcing one to buy multiple products for their other vehicles?
The Power Vision 3 can be used across multiple platforms with the correct firmware and diagnostic cable. The Power Vision 3 does marry to the ECU, so it will only tune 1 ECU at a time, unless you purchase a license file for the other ECU. So technically you can use 1 Power Vision 3 to tune a Can-Am, Yamaha, Honda etc. with the correct tools.

This video is misleading. The tune files for my 2020 Road Glide are locked. I can’t change a thing about them. I can’t even view them! The best I can do is download one of the three tunes available, stage one, stage two, or stage three, then auto tune the crap out of my bike. I’m a bit disappointed with this tuner. To add insult to injury my bike is now throwing a code for the RDRS and no one from tech support will respond to my emails.
