IF Jason Statham got the role, i would probably never even watch the trailer of these fantastic series. After Cillian we got to enjoy Tom Hardy as well to, so yea, the director made the right choice here most definitely.
tbf he has an air about him that even in a suit seems menacing or unpredictable, i couldn't imagine him as batman. i prefer him playing villains, he makes them so complicated and charming you're left feeling very confused how you should feel lol
