I think Cillian, because he’s normally a VERY shy person, comes alive whenever he’s around someone he knows that he can relax with. It certainly helps that Tom is in general a very extroverted person and he tends to bring out more positive vibes depending on whom he’s with.
I think these two men are actors not for the fame, but for the genuine love of the art. They both appear introverted to me and would rather avoid the press tours etc

Like Scorsese had deniro and pesci, Werner Herzog had Klaus kinski, Kurosawa had that guy u know, Bergman had Max von sydow, Tarantino has Samuel L Jackson and now Leo, and Chris Nolan has these two.. I just hope he keeps using these great actors in his films

Cillian Murphy honestly one of the most underrated, if not the most, of his generation...our generation. The guy can act...from the nicest guy you would ever meet to full o. Psychotic without even blinking. Something about his presence. I remember someone sating what made Mel Gibson so great was that the camera could focus on his eyes...and it was just pure emotion and rare. Cillian has that. And i think I need to point out im straight as an arrow. No guy crush. Just admire talent. Like RDJ...LEDGER...HARDY I HAVE TO SAY CUZ HE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ACTORS.

Cillian seems to get nervous in interviews and I also don’t think he cares about the media circus. His body language in interviews is usually really awkward and even here where it seems like he’s more relaxed he’s angling his body to Tom and sometimes speaking to him directly rather than the interviewer. I’ve also noticed Cillian touches his mouth A LOT during interviews which I think is a nervous tic.
Love them , Nolan and his thought process. I dream lucid dreams every night since I was a kid. After, Inception", I didn't feel strange anymore. Thank you Nolan, still trying to figure out"Tenet".
