I love my XC70 D5, surprisingly frugal for a heavy car (by UK standards). Very comfortable and easy to drive, quite fast enough for an ordinary road car but also more than capable of towing a racecar on a trailer. Turning circle is not great, a function of driveshaft angles and long wheelbase but you don't need to turn around as often as in some other cars...

@@tsvetoslavivanchev4014 not had it for very long, but literally everything works properly. Aside from a few wrinkles in the front seats the interior is like new. So far the experience has been flawless. The car constantly impresses me, little features that show that someone thought about the design and how people use cars. Many of the parts are used in other makes of car, mine has been absolutely faultless.

in uk and Europe ; the p3 Volvo XC70 of this generation had more kit than than the comparable xc90's of a similar period that were on p2 platform. I'd say best car I've ever owned. if you have a slipped disc in your spine and like the outdoors...... this is the car for you!

I have a 2010 sumum D5. 300k km. Live in Sweden so probably best place to own one. Call her Bettan, drives like its 2 years old and just driven in.

There is far too many plastic parts that will fail and require replacing with very high costs before the cost of labor is added along with shipping, taxes which brings me to wonder if all the bells and whistles warrant the cost ?

Yours isn't the T6 XC70. Yours is the 3.2 inline 6cyl which can run and perform just fine on regular 87 octane fuel. The T6 gets much better fuel economy (roughly 27mpg).

Had my XC70 D5 9yrs and there is nothing I would swap it for,after a 475 mile drive to the highlands of Scotland stopped once for a coffee,I filled her up and it said 675 miles to empty eat yea heart out Elon.
