📚About Me
I read a lot of fantasy, but I also enjoy sci fi, horror, mystery/thriller, and the occasional nonfiction. On my channel you will find monthly TBR's, High/Low videos, TAGS, and a few original series (Fantasy Genre Blends and Chonky Check Ins).

I love reorganizing my shelves, and watching others do it. It looks really good.
Thank you! It is fun to see others takes on what should go where.
I always love seeing how others organize! I do by genre!
It is fun to see how every ones brain works! Also, how creative people can be with their shelves.
👍
😊
The refresh looks great! So pleased to see the David Grann book waiting for you. It was excellent! His research is excellent and his writing so evocative. I could really feel the seas rolling that small, cramped ship.
Thank you! I am very excited to get to The Wager. I have heard nothing but amazing things. So many people say it doesn't read like a nonfiction and it feels like you are in the story! Can't wait!!
So many great books!! And so many I want to read!
Woohoo! Well let me know which ones you pick up. I would love to chat about what you think.
@@Danni.Dabbles I definitely will!!
Looks great!
Thank you!
Shelves look great Danni💛I have my TBR shelf organized by color and my read books by genre🌻
Thanks Evie! Ooo! I've thought about separating my reads from my TBR but I kinda like them being all together. I love the idea of a color organized shelf but have never tried it myself.
Reorganizing is such a therapeutic experience for me! You are making me want to so a reorganization day myself!
It is! Also, nerve wracking while it is happening, but once it is done it is worth it!
a narnia bind up ^^
That is one of the oldest books on my shelves. I didn't really start collecting books until recent years when I've had the space, but that one I've had since high school.
i air books out from time to time.
Exactly!
I do my shelves alphabetically by author. 😊
Very nice. I wish I could be that organized. 🤣 I find that it bothers me to put short books next to tall, so alphabetical would turn into alphabetical and similar size. Which is probably doable.
@@Danni.Dabbles Oh! I do similar size First and then alphabetical by author. 😅
a popular booktuber of the 2012 era uploaded a shelf tour in 2017 with her 800 plus library. the video is 45 minutes lol
Oh my! That would be overwhelming! Fun to watch though. 😂
It looks really good! I organise similarly to you, with genre-subgenre-author. I have some mass market and 'normal' sized books next to each other, which bugs me, and I've continued series on audio or ebook, which makes some books look a bit lonely. I like the look of organisation by colour but its impracticality would drive me mad.
Thank you! I have found that having differing sizes is something that bothers me if they are right next to each other. That makes sense that some books are going to be a bit lonely if you have chosen not to purchase the physical copies of the continuations of series. That is how The Rook will be for me as I have enjoyed the second book in the series but I don't want to own it. I've never tried to do a color organization. I think it would drive me bonkers splitting up series and genres. 😂
have you reviewed dead train. it sounds bananas
I haven't (I might upon reread). I picked it up on a whim as I have liked Cassandra Khaw in the past. It was wild! I can't wait to continue the series.
