This makes me so happy to see. To hear Doug…watch him do that Blinky thing he always did lol. And Brian lol….such a character, and someone that I have a million great memories with. I remember Doug telling me that Brent was the most gifted song writers he’d ever met. If you ever read this Brent, I wanted you to know that. Doug and I talked a very long time about you and your brilliance.

Wow thanks so much for posting . Not many interviews with Doug. You can see what a character and fun loving he was.
Definitely seems like the band’s leader here.
So sad I want to believe rest of band had to take the action they did. RIP Doug

Im no expert, but as someone with a smidge of the 'tism, it seems like he may have been on the spectrum, especially with the hard blinking.Its possible the overstimulation may have contributed to his drinking

Have three kids on the spectrum and thought the same thing watching this. Asperger’s isn’t an approved diagnosis anymore, but I suspect he would fit that diagnosis if it was. If you look at the current DSM someone has to have a certain IQ deficiency to meet the new standards. I doubt any of my children would meet these new standards, and all of them were diagnosed under the old standards. But back to your point, I see it as well, and self medicating with any of these conditions is common.

Seeing this just reminds me how much I HATE Robin Wilson. Doug Hopkins is a hero of mine. What they did to him was criminal. And don't give me this BS about how "he did it to himself" ... they still could've treated him with some respect. They didn't. They FUCKED him.
