In the fall of 2002 a like-minded group of individuals formed the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. All non-profit incorporation papers were developed, a board was formed, officers elected and two deserving individuals were inducted into the newly formed Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame. Our first inductees were Wayne Newton on December 8, 2002 and Alice Cooper on December 19, 2002.

Mogollon Band Induction Video - Bio tells highlights of the band's history and many accomplishments
^ years of my early working life was spent at several Bobby McGee's Restaurants. I have met great friends while working there and really appreciate the opportunities. THANK YOU!
Seeing this just reminds me how much I HATE Robin Wilson. Doug Hopkins is a hero of mine. What they did to him was criminal. And don't give me this BS about how "he did it to himself" ... they still could've treated him with some respect. They didn't. They FUCKED him.
Lost horizons is one of the best songs ever written it reaches me in a way no other songs do. Robin has an amazing voice and they have written some good songs without Doug. This is coming from someone who’s best friend and ex band mate died in 2020 from alcoholism and suicide. I’ve been through the same stuff as these guys with him. They really do it to themselves and until you are there living in living with the person and trying to help them year after year there is a breaking point. It’s a shame what happened… I’m glad his artistic memory lives on. But I don’t think it’s robins fault what happened.
Never understood he plays 3 hour near 30 songs never same setlist takes requests on songs he not played in years.
Love Nils. Tired of the politics though. Cry tough in November.
One word: brilliant.
Too bad that the organizers failed to get Hans' name or the Rhythm Room's name spelled correctly on their induction plaques!
I worked at Wongs as a prep god. And if you were hired, and you couldn’t handle the lunch crowd or happy hour in those 2 weeks, you were made gone. On another note, used to love drinkin after hours with Scott and Cherie till 4 er 5 in the mornin. Thanks guys! It was a helluva ride.🌵🏜️
Amazing interview so underrated. Cool being from Arizona and all these locations he’s talking about are close by to me!
Amazed to hear him play Roll Out The Barrel
Wow I never knew that!! I thought it was just a seedy strip clup!! How cool!!
“This song is dedicated to Doug Hopkins who couldn’t be here tonight.”
I can't believe how little views some of the Gin Blossoms stuff gets considering how many songs they had on the radio in the 90's. Somehow they've stayed under the radar and still were rockstars
I’m from New Jersey but one of my favorite bands growing up
Cris, God Bless him. He’s a phenomenal bassist. One of a kind. Inspiring.
Wow, what a great interview. Cris is really well spoken and comes across as a lot more intelligent than you might expect from a wild and crazy punk rocker. I was fortunate enough to meet him and his bro before a gig and they were super nice and fun to talk to. Who knew it was Deliverance of all things that got him started, LoL! It was interesting hearing him talk about the early records and explain why they don't play that stuff, though I would LOVE to witness all of In A Car and Meat Puppets 1 live! I once shouted out a request for "dolpin field" and the expression of shock and mock horror on Cris' face was priceless. I hope they tour again and record some more music before too long. Rock on!
I think this may be the only video footage of Doug talking on camera :/
Freakin boring as hell
Nils is a fantastic guitar player
No doubt Nils has improved Bruce 's guitar playing .
Does anyone know what he is up to nowadays? When I met him twice he was always kind. It's too bad that it didn't work out with GB. I hope he is doing well.
I was wondering the same thing. I heard He was kicked out of the band for alcohol issues, but I don't know the full story. Yet he and Robin work together on the gas giants projects shortly after the band broke up the first time. Wish I could find more information on what happened there
Nils has always seemed like such a great guy. And, he’s clearly extremely talented, too. I always enjoy seeing him on stage with Bruce and the E Street Band. He definitely deserves this recognition.
Wow, I’ve only really known about Nils from his work in the E Street band. This is such a cool story. Now I feel like I need to dig deeper into the history of Niles Lofgren. Thanks for sharing!
20 years later? They just put out a fantastic album 35 years after this interview. Saw em live, still onr of the best live bands. Rob sang like an angel and Richie made me feel very inadequate as a guitarist. They played Love Bites. Always good live, the gong and then the guitars coming back in mid song is one of the greatest moments in heavy metal. If that's not gonna make ypu bang your head, you've probably got it buried in sand. Just wiggle your toes in that case.
Wow what a gent! when I was 12 he was like a cool Hagrid character and yet he and Alice are still kicking the stones. I have spent my entire life loving the albums that the Original band played..and yes..Hard Hearted Alice is one of my top 5 songs
Incredible
"Why did you pick Arizona?" Well we read his book now, we know. Unrequited love.
The original KDKB was a moment in time that can't be compared. You had to be there.
Most of the big hits of the Alice Cooper group were Michael Bruce’s songs.
They say "never meet your heroes" here's another one "never watch your heroes act on Curb Your Enthusiasm".
YOU were a very big part of making it ALL happen, Man. Congratulations.
Well I hope they were all fully jabbed up to be able to look at the coward an despicable vile excuse for a man Bruce jabstien
Going to see them again in May I cant wait
I saw em in April, fantastic. Rob was in top form and Richie is a god.
god he really was gay
Still is :)
Nils the R&R HOF is a Joke like Steve Miller says.
So Neil was right after all.
Mike is cool nice guy😊
Legendary😊😊
One of the all time greatest.
Never understood the whole Springsteen thing. He also cancelled a long anticipated show by his fans in NC when he decided to not perform over some political nonsense. Screwed those fans. No respect for him.
So why the fuss when he came out. Makes Freddie Mercury look straighter than a ruler.
Met him at Barney's Beanery in 82. Had the pleasure of meeting most top guitarists over the years. Not only a Great guitarist, and GENUINE guy! Was a pleasure Nils...
Bizarre that I never knew he was a fruit back then.
It's a shame that they didn't get internationally huge. I still blow people's minds when I dust off the cd's ans spend the next four days talking about the scene in those days and how this was the best band of some really great AZ bands.
Hello 1989! This is 2024 calling. See you next Monday live in vienna!
HOW did we not know back then??!!
Yeah right.
Rob looks better in 2024!
The interviewer is such a tool, he has no clue of heavy metal.
It was such a shock when he came out of the closet. I mean, who would've guessed? Halford is one of the greatest front-men of all time.
A musician's musician. Lived and lives to make music.
Love it when musician can break it down musically. So many "music" interviews are nothing more than fluff by star struck interviewers.
