Summary:
Lying Two-way Stretch - Just lie down on the floor or a mat with your head facing the ceiling. Make sure to hold a straight position from head to toe. Now stretch your arms and your legs simultaneously.
Vertical Bends - This exercise will test your body's flexibility as well how determined you are to increase your height. Stand straight on the floor and try to touch the floor with your palm. Sounds easy? Here is the catch, you cannot bend your knees.
Vertical Stretch - Another one of those simple exercises is the Vertical Stretch. It is especially useful for people who are not comfortable with exercises. Compared to the previous two types of exercises, this is one takes more time. So, please be patient.
The Cobra Pose - Here, you will lie on your chest. The body needs to remain still during this exercise. Once you have done so, try to stretch as much as possible and hold it for 15 seconds. The Cobra Stretch puts pressure on the upper-body and helps you gain those extra inches that you always wanted.
Side Bends - Side bends is similar to vertical bends with one very significant difference. For this you have to bend sideways and do not necessarily have to touch the ground.
Skipping - This exercise has more than just a few benefits. For starters, it is good for people with diabetes and high blood pressure. However, here we are going to talk about how it can help you increase your height. Skipping helps to increase the blood supply of your body and exerts pressure on the long bones of your body.
Hanging - All you need to do is find a bar at a comfortable height. It should not be too high and it should not be too low. Once you have done that just hang from it and pull your legs up and down pretty much like a pendulum.

Hang for 10 mins per day!!! Go ahead and see how 1 min hang feels... Then do that 10 times a day- Not easy and don't know if this would work. You may consider hanging 30 seconds at a time, rest and another 30 seconds until you have accumulated 2 1/2 to 3 mins of total hang time. Do this for a month and let's see your results.

I started stretching in may idk how many months is that I didn’t really like hanging because my spine would feel bad afterwards but it actually does help just make sure to do core exercises so that you don’t loose the height you gain , running also helps because of shin splits I was 5,7 and a half in may 18 now I’m 5,8 and half January and in the morning I’m really close to 5,9 now I am 19 it’s all in the head make sure to eat right also I have gained 20-30 pounds Since starting my journey and my shoe size grew from 8.5 to 9.5

Actually for me, it helps to grow taller but it depends, not all people do it will grow about an inch, If you do it everyday and motivate yourself, you'll grow. Not just that, you need to eat healthy foods (let's say diet) and hydrate yourself before you work out (make sure you're not full, don't eat before you exercise) that's what I know.

I'm 5'8 male 25 years old. I've been boxing for 9 years and almost all of these exercises like stretching, skipping, hanging leg raises are incorporated in my workout routine. Even though my height remained same since 17 my posture improved drastically and I actually look taller. So the answer to your question is no these exercises won't make you taller when you measure yourself up against the scale but it'll improve your posture which will give you the illusion of being few inches taller. Also don't forget to do pull ups.
Maybe if you have not boxing and do this exercises you could be lower than 5'8

I’ve found that cycling with a raised seat is one of the best and most effective methods to gain height. I gained around 2 inches in my legs permanently from this. I was also plenty done growing at 21/22 when I started this. There needs to be more talk and research done about this because it really is one of the only methods I used that actually works. I’m surprised more people don’t talk about this considering leg lengthening surgery not only costs 1,000x more but also leaves you in recovery for a year

hanging and stretching do work im not saying youll grow 6 inches but enough to notice a little bit just need to stay consistent... when you start noticing results just keep going don't settle, alot of people settle and end up losing the little height they achieved during stretching. good luck
Seeing 5,8 5 10 guys complaing about their hight just made me realize that it doesn't matter if i'm 5,6 i still would have been complaining If i was few inches more taller, so what makes the difference. It actually felt better and i think im fine the way i'm.
By Nature , men are thankless ... I can bet a million bucks that almost all men (if not all) who are 5'11'' would still complain about being short and would still continue to dream about breaking that 6 foot barrier for what ever it takes .... Decompressing the spine can make you up to 2.5 inches taller. Don’t expect to go from 5’7 to 6’3 though.

When NASA astronauts go into space where there’s much less gravity, their spines expand making them 2 or 3 inches taller. But when they return to Earth, they slowly return to normal height.

Although the stretches mentioned above are good for overall flexibility and other benefits, they won’t make you taller. Unfortunately, there is no solid evidence that suggests height growth from stretching. Adults have their bones “closed” and that means no more bone growth.
Oddjob from 007, Leprechaun, Tom Cruise(well he average size 5'7 for males), Lil Wayne, Frodo are all not very tall, but still manage to become very successful at what they do best

30sec . Because 30second is the time where the muscle take to stretch. You can do every exercise for 2/3 set and gradually increase the time

I’m 18 and 5’7 for about 2 years now, and I’ve started to take working out more serious as well. You think I will still grow still?
Lil Bristo how tall are your immediate family members? Mom, dad, uncles, aunts, grandparents, siblings, cousins, etc? If they’re above 6’0 then yeah you’ve got a good shot, eat right, exercise, get good sleep, by the end of the day you should feel your legs sore and feel like you just want to hit the bed and knock completely out, that’s when you grow the most, if they’re under 6’0 but above 5’9 you’ve still got a good shot, if they’re below 5’9, I’d say you’d average out logically and genetically at about 5’10ish, but F genetics, F logistics, F what anybody thinks about how tall you’re gonna be, I know dudes who have parents that are like 5’6 but end up being 6’0 through playing basketball and sports from young, your height is a lot of genetics, but a decent chunk of it is your environment: how good you eat, sleep, what sports you do, how much sun you get, all of it boils down to YOU eating all your nutrients, exercising daily mainly basketball and such, getting good quality sleep consistently, do this for 1 year and see how much you’ll grow, if you grow 1 inch at the least you’ve still got room for more, if you grow less than 1 in, you can still grow more but start focusing on other things to make yourself appear taller, slimmer clothes, slim your body down, lose weight, your haircut should be short on the sides and longer on the top, good posture, etc. overall what determines if you get a good female or not isn’t your height, it’s the way you play your cards with the hand you were dealt. Keep your head up King 🤴🏿.

Let me tell you people how this actually works, When you don't stretch your muscles, they tighten up causing pressure on your bones not allowing them to grow to their true potential. If your muscles are well stretched and loose, you will most likely grow taller.

Lol how does this video have such a good like ratio? It's absolute nonsense and bro-science. So many things are poorly explained or straight up wrong. Getting people to do stretching excercises is a good thing, but don't do it by promising them to grow taller and try to actually explain the stretches properly.
Take number 6 for example. You say it's to flex your spine and that you shouldn't bend your knees, but those two statements contradict each other. The exercise you're showing is meant to stretch the hamstrings, not your spine. If you want to flex your spine you should bend your knees because the goal would be to get your chest as close to your knees/legs as possible.
- hamstring stretch: legs and back straight and focusing on keeping an anterior pelvic tilt
- spine mobility: legs slightly bent (unless your mobility is good enough to have them straight anyways) and main focus on getting your chest close to your legs not stretching your hamstrings
and finally, your height is mostly genetic. There is no science based evidence that supports the idea of growing by stretching (at least not long term. You're obviously gonna be a little bit taller after hanging on a bar cause your spine decompresses just like it does when you sleep)
