- Welcome back to part 2 of "that was not on my 2023 BINGO card" and our FIRST episode of the new year!!! 🤪
Thank you all so much for the recent love and support and we could NOT be more excited to get back in the studio and start filming.
2023 was a year riddled with MANY firsts for the industry, some good and some bad, but I truly believe 2024 has the potneital to be a year that goes down to define music, movies, and internet culture for the next decade. We thought it would be fun to make a game out of it, and have 2 separate BINGO cards full of predictions. Throughout the rest of the year, any time a prediction comes true, we will mention it in the episode and discuss how we think it is going to come to life.

praying 2024 will be sabrina carpenters BIG year
My predictions
1. Sabrina carpenter will release an album called “tortoise”(like she said in her variety speach) and it will be tropical themed (which is ironic because tortoises don’t live in tropical climate) and she will write the whole album herself (like speak now)
2. I think that tictok will be the new Spotify/CZcams in 2014 era and artists will be able to post music vids on tictok. They will also be able to make ads for their vids.
3. A hunger games muscial full of songs like cant catch me now and safe and sound/phoebe bridgers styled songs. it will also make start a trend in indie musicals!
4. I think that snl will have many skits and performances go viral. like tate mcrae, olivia rodrigo's tiny a$$ bag, and rachel mcadams introducing renee rapp.
5. Award shows are going to be it again and will have tons of drama and viral performances.
I can’t think of anymore but I’ll edit this when I do this about more :)

Fourth prediction y2k fashion is going to fade down and we're speed rushing to 60's and 70's trends
CD's will make a nostalgia comeback since lots of people have them in their cars as an option anyway and its a better way to support artists. We already see this in KPOP
I JUST NOW got the hang of streaming music on my phone, and using an aux Cassette adapter 😅 I guess I just need a new radio in my car. The CD player has been broken since 2010.
Sabrina has some film projects that she hasn’t even started on so I kind of think she’s going to go back a little into her acting. When the ‘emails i can’t send’ era started she would send us emails and use her insta to give us little clues to new singles and eventually the name of the album. She airdropped to some fans an address to the tracklist for Singular Act I and airdropped the Singular Act II cover in different locations too. She’s always been playful with it. It’ll become obvious once she starts hinting at a new album for sure
predicting a boyband or a very young artist will take over completely and just captivate people think early days justin bieber
My prediction is Ariana Grande and SpongeBob are going to announce their engagement this spring followed by a new album
Also a pregnancy announcement at the end of the year
new album already sorta announced just waiting for the title and date
Third prediction is Tik Tok is going to launch a second social media platform, text based, to rival Twitter and Threads that will be incorporated into working with the current app
Prediction: I think Emma Chamberlain is going to do something unrelated to her coffee brand that’s creative. Whether it is to do with film or cameras, or fashion since those are how her current videos stray towards more “cinematic” content! This is just secretly a hope of mine ❤

When talking about influencer bubbles. I agree. I also think we are entering a new realm we’re mainstream media’s standards are dropping, like for example Harry on DWTS. I’m seeing more sponsorships/brand deal for what has been considered “problematic” creators who consistently were not making money from those things because brands viewed them as too risky. That disconnect between human behaviors on a human brand seems to be dissolving a bit which will lead to even more visibility and saturation in big ways
I think the brand trip drama is going to be the 9 month cruise dilemma and we’ll see it in real time and have a documentary about it the following year

The whole film thing you talked about with high quality on TikTok, I think you guys so far were sooo right about this especially because even before this CZcams video was made, we saw granola girls/guys exploring and filming their life on a camera living out of a mini van, or people use their editing skills to film short films that they post!
Regarding the third places for filming, i have been having that idea for about an year and i would love to see it happen irl.

Guys, I’ve actually heard that lauv received backlash for using AI to create a translated version of his song. There’s plenty of artists in Korea that release songs in English, Spanish, Japanese. And those artists actually sing those songs themselves, which is far more impressive. Some of the artists are nmixx, le sserafim, day6, yerin baek.
