- In this video, we discuss a common movement compensation during the overhead squat assessment: feet turn out, knees turn in. We demonstrate how to properly perform an overhead squat assessment and what to look for, and then show you a foam rolling exercise you can use for clients who experience this compensation.

Thanks ASSMAN
thank you NASM .
Kathy Zetterberg I would say stabilization phase because the reactive, balance, and core exercises are stabilization exercises. The stretches shown could be used as either static or active-isolated stretching.
Also, this video is focusing on correcting pronation and the stabilization stage focuses on improving such conditions.
Thanks, NASM
Great video
Thanks!
What phase of training is the movement prep feet turn out knees in video program designed for? I would assume strength phase and not stabilization phase.
Do these compensations occur together always?
I have external rotation when i walk and i supinate. Also, knees want to come in and my feet roll out when I squat. Are these exercises for me?
