After over a year of living in Mexico, we decided to travel back to the US for our 3-year anniversary! What better place to celebrate than Las Vegas, Nevada?! Over the course of 10 days, we put together this random Las Vegas vlog. It includes how we got some jackpots, bikini bull riding at Treasure Island, taking the monorail to pick up things at an Amazon Locker, and other shenanigans that happened on this Las Vegas 2019 trip.
WHERE TO STAY IN LAS VEGAS
We love staying at the Mirage. Our other favorite hotels include Cosmopolitan, Flamingo, Aria, and Treasure Island.
WHERE TO EAT IN LAS VEGAS
I don't think we could eat Vegas buffet food forever, but we do enjoy going to the Cravings buffet at Mirage and also the buffet at Aria. We also like getting Uber Eats with the rotating free delivery deals so we don't have to pay the ridiculously high prices on the Las Vegas strip.

I will be staying at Westgate at the end of August, which I don’t recommend, because it is so hot! Wish me luck, and I hope to meet up with the two of you soon.

Thank you for the tip. I have always gotten the double double with cheese, animal style. I wish I knew about the hidden menu. Animal style is the only secret I know. I've only had in & out about a dozen times. That's not many.

Lol, in fairness, I'm sure we couldn't stand living on the Las Vegas Strip. It's fun for a vacation though!
Good to see you guys feeling refreshed. I actually saw the Las Vegas 400 a few years back. Both of my brothers lived in Henderson and that's where I would stay when I visited from Asia. Ah, good times.
Here's a tip from a casino employee; if you find a chip on the ground it is technically NOT yours to keep...so here's how it goes, if the person who dropped the chip reports a chip missing or felt it was dropped somewhere specific, they can report that to Security. Security would them inform Surveillance who (if they are not busy) can review the camera coverage and possibly (probably) identify the person who picked it up. They can then wind coverage the coverage back and if you had used a players card ANYWHERE) they can get your full identification. (or if you used a credit card at any outlet while on property). Depending on the person who dropped it )and if they want it pursued) the person who picked it up would then get a phone call from Security to bring that chip BACK). If you didn't you could face criminal charges, depending on the situation. Now having said that, there are of course different situations; in this case, since it was only 5.00 AND it wasn't even in the casino that issued it, there should really be no problem.... But if you happen to find a $100 or $500+ chip and decide to just pick it up and cash it out?? That is considered THEFT. It is not "finders keepers" in any casino.. (this goes for money or SLOT tickets as well)... Just be aware and have fun :)

Not being a hater but roulette pays 35to1 on any single number. Including zero and double zero.with that being said you would of hit for 105dollars plus your original 3 dollar bet.but nonetheless its still a nice hit😊👍
that happens to me all the time when I travel with my wife. Yeah, it seems like every time she sends me to find something she's forgotten in our hotel room (which she seems to do a lot when we're in Vegas for some reason) When I finally find what I was sent to find and return to the casino, all I can say is that gambling must be a very strenuous activity for some people because when I find her she always seems to be in bad shape...hair messed up...clothes all disheveled and with some items completely missing sometimes!....and with gooey stuff all over her head and face (which I guess is that lotion they give you when you're throwing dice that she told me about) But she seems to know what she's doing at those tables because every time she's got a purse full of cash when I find her. So, I think I'm gonna just stay in our room and let her gamble her pants off...she has more fun going alone anyway......but, what a gal, eh??

For clarity, I say "dork" in a very friendly way, almost as a compliment. Translators like to translate "dork" as "idiota" which is a terrible translation in my opinion. In Spanish, I usually hear "idiota" used to mean things like: jerk, idiot, asshole...none of which mean anything close to the way I use dork.

3 year anniversary! Awesome. I had assumed that you two were married. Congratulations on your 3 years together. My wife and I will be celebrating 24 years together this year. So you only have 21 more to go to match us :-) I wish you both great happiness together.
For a couple I think redeeming myVegas points for rooms works better than for a single person because with a couple one person redeems for a couple nights then their partner redeems for the next couple of nights, maybe even at a different hotel. Then you still are able to redeem for 2-for-1 meals or shows and get a lot and still be within your redemption limit. I want to spend minimal time in my hotel room so a fancy room seems to me to be a waste. I redeem myVegas points for buffets and shows within the 3 item limit, and then there have been a few things you can redeem for like the monorail that don't count against that 3 item limit. Also a friend of my was given a 4 item limit because he had bought myVegas chips, a thing I never do.
We also have a 4th reward since we've each purchased at least $50 in chips. Something else that happens after you purchase $50 worth of chips is that you get access to better rewards. Like: 2 free nights at any hotel (sometimes 3) and a "2 free aria buffet" shows up which is also an awesome reward. They recently changed their redemption rules, so now, most MGM rewards don't count against your 3 or 4 limit. Now, any reward that's just a discount or a b1g1 is considered a "non-premium" reward and doesn't count against that limit.
@@TangerineTravels Wow that seems like $50 well spent. People on Facebook complain sometimes that the rewards aren't as good as they used to be but the new "non-premium" reward category seems to be a good move on MGM's part. Thanks for the info and video.

Remember, no one has ever died of a carbohydrate deficiency! I was a vegetarian/grain-a-tarian/frequent vegan for 35 years and was never really healthy. I was chemically sensitive to almost everything. After reading the book Wheat Belly three years ago, I switched to Paleo, lost 30 pounds, and have a ton more energy. Chemical sensitivities have gone away. It does put a damper on the restaurant meals though! Thank you, I enjoy your channel!
Stayed in pretty much the same room last summer, was great. We really like the Mirage. That bottom,was drink on the Linq sounds decent, I saw it and wasn’t sure how worth it it would be. Wife and I are on our 3rd trip this weekend, working on our pro level like you guys ha.

New 3-level restaurant/club opening between the strip and Fremont in June which is going to change the dynamics. Off Charleston heading northbound to Fremont. Check it out the next time you come to Vegas to vlog. Still under construction but almost done.

Steve I have often wondered how long it would take to build between Fremont and the strip in a way that would connect the two. My 2nd desire is to see a max line / monorail / train / tram from airport to center strip OR a walking path, but that’s not realistic because it’s just too hot 1/3 of the year. I have walked to the airport though. It’s not that far and a nice walk!

My cat eats paper too! lol. In & Out Burger in Vegas is a must! I like Excalibur for accom. as their pool is one of the few open early season. Back in Mexico a travel bud and I waved across the water to you from an all inclusive resort, a 20 minute ride south of San Miguel on the the island. We stayed the first week of March. Keep on video-ing! Will be reviewing content from some of your past vids to help research becoming annual snowbirds.
@Tangerine Travels, you guys booked off the strip. When we go to Vegas, we stay at The Jockey Club. It's connected to the Cosmopolitan. It's $363 for a TWO bedroom suite, 2 bathroom, livingroom and kitchenette. The catch it's NON-REFUNDABLE. Their parking fee is $5 a night for Valet or free self parking.

Awesome you two. Just wanted to mention that because of your vids my wife and I are planning a 6 month get away to see if we like this lifestyle of not being in our country (Canada). We are planning for a Oct 2020 departure. Should be plenty of time to save and learn. Plans so far look like Belize may be our destination. If the 6 months away seems like something we want to do for longer, we will come back and liquidate.

Can the Prius handle Mexican roads? I have a 2008 and always wanted to explore Mexico with it but afraid that the Prius is too low for Mexico's bumpy and sometimes unpaved roads. I also car camp and wonder if its safe to do this in Mexico. I'm Canadian and would like to join any travel clubs that forms groups or caravans for like minded people. Do you know and can recommend any such clubs or groups to me. You both are such a joy to watch. Stay happy, safe travels and enjoy your youth.
