Si eso no es versatilidad entonces que es? Bruce has versatility as well. Freddie could hardly sing folksongs or rock'n'roll (listen to him ruining 30 or Prime Jive), he was not versatile AT ALL.
This is such a great example of how Bruces voice goes from clean and loud to just the right amount of edge. It's like rolling the volume on a guitar to dial the right amount of articulation and feeling. It's not about Bruce vs Freddie, just a great singer unjoying singing a great sound. I'm just glad it was shared so aI was able to enjoy it as well, Bravo!

Sorry? He can't even play so down like him, and... Don't get me wrong, I like Bruce, is one of my favourites singers but... technically, Bayley's voice fits better with the album theme (The BB's era, obviously). Depression, anger, madness, fits great with the voice and slow and quiet intros and interludes. His voice has potential, so bad Blaze Bayley work is underrated. But at the end, it's just an opinion.
Well on the other hand Bayley doing Dickinsons songs sounds even worse. They're are just two completely different types of vocalists and having them sing each others songs is just a bad idea. It's the same with Osbourne and Dio in Sabbath.

People are just used to hearing one voice for this song, they cannot separate themselves from the fact that BoRhap was sung by a high voice, and hearing a lower one, they cannot digest it.
When I first heard this cover, I was a mad Freddie fan. But when I heard Bruce singing it... I fell in love with his voice the moment I heard it. And this BoRhap is now the only version I listen to, though I think there's too much of Montserrat.
Bruce has such great control over his vibrato, when the drums come in and he sings "mamaaa" he doesn't use any vibrato because that is what is most appropriate for that part, these pros put thought into every second
Even though Bruce is a very different singer from the late great Freddie, the man totally nailed the feel of the song right IMO. He has the powerful round sound that fits rock, metal and classical crossovers, although he does not sound like an opera singer in any way.
Actually he has great and professional technique along with a powerful voice and wide range so I think he was influenced by opera or trained as an opera singer
