This sushi roll recipe was made by www.makesushi.com/
In this video, you will learn how to make the amazing salmon tuna royal sushi roll.
The salmon tuna Royal roll is my very own creation; I have never seen a sushi roll like this one anywhere before, and to my knowledge, it's never been done before.
Ingredients:
- Sushi-grade tuna
- Sushi-grade salmon
- ½ sheet nori (seaweed paper for sushi)
- 140g cooked sushi rice: • How to make sushi rice...
- 8-10 chives (longest possible)
- Avocado
Utensils:
- Cling film
- Sushi bamboo rolling mat
- Cutting board
- Extremely sharp knife: www.makesushi.com/product-cat...
Simple instructions:
1) Spread out 140g of cooked sushi rice on ½ a sheet of nori
2) Flip over and add sushi-grade salmon and tuna with some avocado slices.
3) Roll the sushi roll.
4) Cut some more tuna and salmon into very thin slices, Tip; freeze the salmon and tuna for 30 to 40 min to make it tough enough to slice into thin strips.
5) Lay down some cling film and arrange the tuna and salmon in a grid, then add some chives and another layer of cling film.
6) Flip over and remove the first layer of cling film.
7) Add a sushi roll in the middle of the fish grid.
8) Press the fish grid onto the sushi roll and then cut with an extremely sharp knife.

Very wise words, but also very true!
That's why I do this, I didn't want to work doing something I didn't enjoy, so I made(am making) my own path to do something I truly enjoy.
Thank you!
Just a hobby that got out of hand :)
have you seen my other videos? this one is pretty old....
All your sessions are perfect! I love them! My guests were amazed!Thank you very much!
I think this is best saved for a special occasion. Alot of work indeed.... and very beautiful.
The background music is the music for the game "Sushi Cat".
Booksarelove Booksarelife OH MY GOD

Salvador, Bahia - Brasil!!!
lhe parabeniza.
Gorgeous! I really love your videos. My entire family has really benefited from the sushi art tutorials. Thanks, and keep up the great work :D
Instead of a weave-pattern like that, could you line up lots of strips parallel to one another, then plait them? There are plenty of braiding patterns that would work with enough strands to create a wide enough layer of fish.
increible
Thank you Ivan!
You should submit your videos to online cooking blogs. A lot of them really need a way to show their readers visually about how to make this sort of thing.
Pink Salmon Sushi Roll! (very good video)
I love your art. It looks amazing.
Thank you very much Sveltlanna :)
will you try making this royal sushi roll yourself?
How To Make Sushi is so cute
How To Make Sushi
I will see them necessarily.
I try to not only look but also feel it.
Be sure to do things for the soul. This is the most important key.
The key to ourselves.
Greetings, Chef David. I have watched many of your videos and find them to be both helpful and inspiring. If I may share, I've also tried various combinations, including some with less than traditional ingredients. My most successful, according to friends' acclaim, is the bacon-shrimp-tomato roll, with the bacon (of course) and shrimp all cooked. This is my "gateway sushi" to those afraid of sushi's raw fishes. Thanks again for your great videos!
wow very artistic :D
Could you please change the word discard to EAT. I cringe when you say discard sushi.
I'll look in to the matter with the upmost urgency ;p
too true. when I'm done making sushi I'm usually not very hungry because I've been "discarding" sushi for the last hour.

Spectacular sushi roll, I would love to try it but I guess I am alittle to lazy for such an elaborate sushi roll, but great job chef ;)
Bravo!! it's really beautiful. You have done a really professional job of decorating. A Professional Artist. 2 thumbs up :)
Nice videos... geetrings from Chile
C'est MAGNIFIQUE !!!!!!!
having watched pretty much all your videos how do you decided when to free roll with your hands or use a matt
I think that if you are going to "knit" with raw fish at home you should do it on top of a metal tray that is on top on another tray filled with ice, so the fish can stay nice and cool while working :)
i like the music 🙂
To me you look and sound just lika a Chef! :D
nice! ^^
very very sweet...I tried to buy a sushi knife from your web, but at the end I was told I could not receive the knife, you can tell me why not????????
can you make a sushi basics series i'm a beginner and i don't know how to make sushi even the basics
He sort of does that with his videos on how to make sushi rice, where to get proper wasabi, how to sharpen your knives, etc.
what is that music I hear when he fast-forwards through the weaving section? It is very catchy.
I usually add the music title towards the end of the description under the video.
I am interested
I am cook. And i whant to say you do this wery good!
You cut a little not cleverly, but the end result is very good!
Are you worked as a cook somewhere, or its just a hobby?
I prefer the Nori wrap on the outside .

Man, that is really fantastic however, the idea of me taking 20 - 30 minutes to make a single roll is akin to the idea of my slitting my own wrists... just ain't gonna happen ha ha ha ha... love the channel though... getting some good ideas! Thank you.
Wooe
Pink salmon ^^
Its not calling knitting its called thatching. Im not sure if many also would have the patience to do this for a several rolls haha but v nice.
That looks so good
I'm such a weeb lmao
Trolls must have got to him. He flips the camera off between 5:03 and 5:05 the hand at the top right of screen. Still a good video :P

Salmon tuna sushi roll video
they flash freeze when it comes off the fishing boat.
gnam! :D
Pink salmon
Thai music or not?
how much would you pay. Looks great but 30 minutes for one roll?
It's more about the art of it
what do u call sushi when its cooked fish?
@Hiccups thanks hun!!
God hope I've never eaten sushi that's had that much contact with a human hand.
well I'm sorry to tell you but 9 out of ten don't wear gloves and it's a very hands on process also professionals only use the mats for shaping it once they've rolled it
NOM NOM NOM :0
Salmon
Are you a chef?
so tasty amazing , send to me fast
ok will ship it through the post :P
lol
personally I would not never freeze fish that is brought to me. it just defeats the whole purpose. I know its a small portion and the roll's other ingredients can mask certain flavors, but yeah, you are lucky you live in the greatest part of the world

Why do you always have chinese background music for japanese sushi?
Not in the newer videos, i think...
Bacon weave anyone? Except with tuna and salmon. Practice makes perfect. And imperfections make the cook fat :-) lol
Hahaha I like that saying!
also bacon weave, I'm drooling at just the thought of it :p *****
Never trust a skinny cook/chef
You are maybe not the fastest or most efficient sushi Chef on this world. But I know many sushi chefs who are not even half as creative as you are.
That's pretty much the point of these videos. Besides... you're sushi just looks too good to eat.
i think he might do it a bit slower on the vids bcuz its easier to follow
:)
Anybody watching in 2018?
yes me😜
PS. Please help me out and share this video, thanks!
ahoj nejsem blbá je to jen socialní experiment
freeze the salmon are you joking ?? i work at a sushi bar i cut salmon thiner then that everyday, if your knife is sharp you should have no problem cutting it thin, as a sushi chef you should not be telling people to freeze there fish and ruin it for nothing,
Thats really bad and took way to long time
Maybe for catering
All great things take time :)
Summer Niko well I mean he is eating it himself so i dont think he really cares how much he touches it since he isnt serving it to someone else...
too slow or too much time to make one,
if u wana make more than $5000a month ,this is bad example
way too much work
Wtf man eat the end prices, that's a waste
He probably does eat them, he just doesn't serve them, since they tend to fall apart, and they look messy. That's the best thing about making sushi: the chef gets to eat all the off-cuts! :P
he does eat them he made this clear in one vid he discards them in his mouth
