I have owned it for about 2 months and I am very happy with it. Battery lasts over 10 days, premium build, comfortable to wear, loads of useful options. A fantastic device.
That’s a pretty awesome review and the watch looks really nice! I had the original watch GT and probably still do so where 😅 but I remember the battery being really good as well as the overall user experience. Currently I’m daily driving the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra which is also a pretty awesome watch!
Hi, good review. I wanted to know if you can please help. Can the bluetooth feature be turned off completely if someone does not want to use the bluetooth connectivitiy?
How the display on sunlight?? Visable??
My Galaxy Watch 4 Classic(46mm) seems like a let down now. Been using mine for 2 weeks now, battery life doesn't even last 24 hours
That’s the problem with these smartwatches that have a lot more “smart” features that drain much more power
Huawei still nailing it.
I have the watch the but it is amazing interms of battery life. Only downside is that is it does not support reading full notifications. Please review the watch fit am planning to buy it for my wife as that is too big.
Hi how is the watch measure your dumbell lifting workout, I am currently using gt2 pro and the numbers are quite basic and less details like walking or running. I wondering if gt 3 pro have more details to show as they advertise to have 100+ workout.
I just got one and I will compare it to my Samsung Watch 4 Classic, if the GT 3 Pro had an integrated assistant that worked on Android it would be game over... I just hope that they will make the current assitante compatible with android and not only Huawei devices, one can dream. Just wondering, how easy is it to use the timer option for working out? And how confortable is the titanium strap when your are lifting? Hope you can help. Thanks.
Fantastic review!
Can you make and receive calls on iPhone?
Where to purchase in USA?
the reason why I chose gt3 pro versus fit watch 2 is more accurate and reliable heart rate measurement during the activity itself, the gt3 pro proved to be better than garmin watches in terms of accurate heart rate during activity.
Love your presentation
Is this one better or the watch 3 pro?
Bro is it have esim support
Hi everyone. How has this watch held up? Any long term reviews ?
Can't switch off bluetooth, always interfering with in car bluetooth, headphones. Not allow custom watchfaces to be installed. Excellent battery, very nice design and style 👌 good sensors.
Nice review. I think one major omission was any mention of the limitations of this as a 'Smart' watch - the lack of being able to read full notifications or reply directly from the watch. I know that, you know that, but it's a staple of Apple & Samsung, and I think it should always be clearly pointed out, as many who watch this review will be oblivious to that.
Thank you for your feedback. I should have definitely mentioned this, I’m sorry to miss it. This is an important flaw compared to Samsung and Apple.
@@TechLineHD 👍
Strangely with the Runner there are quick replies with certain "Message" applications.
@@Pauru74 🤣. 5 months later. Even the reviewer thanked me for the feedback. Grow up, you child.
I actually liked that im not able to read notifications fully. Makes it feel like a regular watch and a fitness tracker. Keeps me off the screen. It separates the "smart phone". It's just my personal preference. But yeah definitely one major ommision as other people find that feature useful.
I had gt2pro and upgraded to GT 3Pro. I can say just one thing about it absolutely amazing watch 🔥🔥
Does it have BP measuring option??
@@sadekulkarim5698 no and it doesn't need it. BP sensors on watch are not accurate and is just marketing gimmick
Hey! I'm doing the same. Did you get inaccurate steps and distance measurements on the gt2 pro?
What is your wrist size in inches?
I myself have a garmin fenix 6 Pro and it counts an estimated body calories daily. Why Huawei watches only count burning calories and are they accurate?
what size is your wrist?
I have a GT2 Pro. Good watch.
Great review, keep up the good work l, Linus.
Best Review!!!
Hy Linus
between Realm GT Neo 3 and One plus 10R what îs the Best option?
Hey! Sorry I haven’t tested those phones yet but I’m getting the get neo 3 soon
Does it works well with my Galaxy S23 Ultra?
i am using the leather strap, and yes the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro indeed a very good smartwatch...😊
Any idea when it will be available for purchase in Canada?
Huawei products are banned in Canada
The version that I bought about 2weeks ago has no call for fb messgr and viber unlike the one my son bought much earlier than mine which has messgr and viber call. I brought my watch to service center and tech said I have to wait if my watch version can be upgraded. Frustrated. 😩😖
Compare to Amazfit GTR 4. Which ones would you recommend?
I have the GTR 3 PRO. Fluid operation, intuitive interface, loud speaker and mic , logs on to a satellite within seconds, pretty accurate GPS tracking.... and I could go on and on of how perfect it was if it weren't for its crappy HR algorithm. I''m a cyclist and on my today's route of 13km my HR readings hardly exceeded 70bpm. Aerobic effect 0.4. The same flaw was inherited by the GTR 4, Falcon and T-Rex 2. Xiaomi watches also suffer from the same flawed algorithm. Amazfit is well aware of the glitches on their algorithms but four generations later and they still haven't fixed it.
In short, nowhere near to the accuracy of Huawei watches.
@@menifo4334 Thanks for the useful information.
Please excuse my confusion, I recently tried the GT3 Pro and in the app it recorded my exercise and calories burned just for the exercise - but not my total calories for the day, i.e. it didn't include my basal rate and non-exercise related calories burned. For example, the Fitbit app shows every calorie burned throughout the day and night, regardless of whether it's exercise related or not? So I just look at my total calories burned, then I can work out weight loss diet requirements re calories.
None calories counters work. My advice? Just do your deficit 10/20% and count the calories you getting in. Its quite imprecise and hard go calculate how much do you burn doing exercises.
can you customsize titanium braclet
yes you can, and it is very easy to do
Do emojis show up in the notifications? My GT 2 Pro couldn't display those
I have the GT 3 and after the latest update, you can view the emojis if you're connected to an android phone. I don't have an iPhone so can't comment on it.
Nope
Great!
Is the ECG feature provide useful information?
Not yet available in Europe.
Now available, and seems to work well
Huawei smartwatch are always elegant looking, unlike others that looks cheap even if much pricey.
it's excellent
Did u say 8 days of heavy usage?! Wow! Is there a google based os watch with anything similar to that battery life?
Yes, I said so :) HUAWEI has always been one of the best when it comes to battery life
@@TechLineHD I walk 10 km every day with the GPS and my autonomy is 4 to 5 days.
@@mariobozzetti6861 Thanks for your valuable feedback. You walk a lot of kms every day! I walk 4-5 on average
@@TechLineHD It's also an average.
Mine is 7 days, all stuff on and heavy usage except gps.
Does it have weight lifting workout mode? I just viewed other review where it was stated that watch doesn't support weight lifting.
Brah, just do ya work out and check the time on ya nice watch lol
The problem for me is the ecg availability in the UK
Now enabled, and seems to work well
I am waiting for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and then I will decide which one to select.
I hope I can get one for review. I still have the Active 2 since 2019. It still works great but the battery doesn’t even come close to HUAWEI offerings
@@TechLineHD Yes,is it true about Samsung battery life .I had many Samsung smartwatches as Galaxy Frontier,Galaxy 46 mm,Active 2,Galaxy Watch 46mm...last one with a terrible battery life.Hopefully this time the battery will be better,as I heard for the Pro variant the battery capacity will be increased.I like Huawei too,I had many Huawei but in few weeks I get bored of Huawei, not too many functions, not so "smart".
I just bought my GT3 Pro 2 weeks ago. Loved it. So elegant with great materials. I always wear it when I’m playing tennis and turn on the tennis mode. They’re so accurate. And the main reason I bought it because it says 14 days of battery life. And it’s true.
Just bought this for ecg but uk doesnt have it. Is it coming? Grewt review..
The time to obtain the certifications, as for the Samsung.
Yes, it's enabled now
can it use whatsapp
Looks ridiculous on smaller wrists.
But too cost
I love the huawei watch ,classic beautiful and powerful. The only downside is that it runs on fucking harmony os. Id rather have android wear on huaweis watch.
Difficult to mention shortcomings! You laugh ? The screen does not turn on by tapping it, impossible to reply to the SMS, no fall detection, etc.
Roasted! Thanks for the feedback! These flaws are not really important to me personally but these are valid shortcomings for some users
Just dont swim with it in the ocean or any salty water, it will die...
Too big- sorry, but doesn’t look classy at all. 40-44mm is sweet spot.
in your opinion !
@@artivideobup8743 If you look at classic watch design - most fall into that range. There is a reason. However, you are correct- it is subjective. As this watch borrows from classic design then I think it would look better to make slightly smaller. Big watches are great for sports- not really as something to wear to the office or out on an evening - personally I think they look cheap, too flash and garish when too big.
@@richgl31 I think it looks great but to be honest i like the "3 pro NEW" (almost save design as 3 pro) but that watch is only for chinese market at the moment.
It only huge if you have kids arms.
That really hurt
