Really enjoying my GT3 Pro! Looks so good and I've gotten so many people ask me about it. Love the build quality and features too, it's pretty much got all I need in a smart watch.
Can you look in the Huawei Health app when the GT3 pro is connected to your smartphone and check what the memory capacity of this watch is ? Much appreciated.
Does it monitor heart rate 24/7?
Did you measure weightlifting session results? in which option of training parameters?
I've been looking for that option and didnt noticed that particular one - only pile of running and cycling nonsense...:)
Although ,that was in the store,so maybe not all of them were shown in that "test" watch.
Now,I believe it has one - if Xiaomi got one Huawei must have it,too.

Is the store on the Huawei gt 3 pro different from the gt 2? Mainly are the watch faces different.
Enjoy the video a lot, but, the GT2 Pro also wireless charges, but I would expect the GT3 Pro to do it even better as the GT2 has to be in the exact position with no dust or anything else in the middle.

Had gt2 for a while, battery life great and built like a brick shithouse. The glass has been banged many a time at work but it had no scratches. Works great with my iPhone and is better than the Apple Watch 6 I had before. Beast of a watch imho 🤜🤜

Watch looks really good with no much features. but I got 3 scratches over my screen within a month. That was disappointing.

Great review and good question! 7:24 GT 2 Pro does not need the puck to charge. I use my S21 Ultra power share or you can use any wireless charger option...
Nope, you're wrong. I have tried several wireless charging pads and it's magnet is reversed so instead of clicking on it hovers above the charge pad.
@@AsmirSut Do you have a Samsung S21 Ultra??? You should get better informed on tech before passing on false info! It works perfectly with the S21 Ultra and other wireless charging options, I have several wireless charges and all work if you understand the tech and how it's done.
I personally own a GT2 Pro, and can confirm it charges with every wireless pod I have, even using the reverse-charging of my smartphone

Hi does it still require phone to setup the watch like GT2 Pro? Privacy concern if the watch with microphone requires the phone connection every couple of days, so can freely send your daily conversation transcripts to some remote countries. Otherwise - hardware beast.
its ok, the phone comes with a tin foil hat. They got you covered.
My GT2 has a metal strap that doesn't undo full. There's a magnet on the charging puck, it's not once been an issue.

Just returned my GT3 Pro. Had it for only four days with limited usage and the edge of the screen was already sort of peeling off. Overall I liked the watch, but the quality let me down unfortunately.

I have the HUAWEI GT 2 pro since it came out I’ve been using it with my Samsung s21 Ultra & now with Samsung s23 ultra, however I’m upgrading to the HUAWEI GT3 Pro cos of the great accuracy it offers with the 4 sensors & the much better ECG, great comparison video cheers 👍

You don't need a screen guard for the sapphire screen ... I've had my GT 2 pro for over a year now. It has been slapped around and hit various surfaces - 0 scratches.
Decent review and pretty entertaining with the jokes sprinkled throughout it. One thing you should really avoid in the future... Glonass, Galileo, Beidou, etc.. are NOT actual satellite names, these are different satelite navigation sistems each containing at least dozens of satellites. Won't go in the details on how it works but what it means is that you're pretty much guaranteed to have accurate GPS wherever you are in the world the more satelite systems your device can connect to.

Each satellite system gives you your position, but when you cross check between at least 3,you have good accuracy. I am pretty happywith the gps of huawei watch 2 (not pro), but is time to change it. Question if watch 3 or gt2
@@lubov5569 guess it comes down to personal preference on design and the extra features of the watch 3 like cellular and wi fi. If you need those features then it's a straight choice but for me personally the battery life of the gt2 of 1week+ versus the watch3 3days made the decision easy

I can tell you from my gt 2 I've have
Wore it 24 7 working on construction jobs etc etc and it doesn't have a single scratch on it find bought 2 3 years ago, it's the best scratch proof material I've ever seen, I wonder why they don't use it on phones, and lol at not on my watch
With a phone there's obviously a bigger screen. Sapphire on a bigger screen would be more likely to crack.
I've noticed that charging the GT2 Pro charges with no problems on a device that can reverse charge. (P30 Pro works fine all the time)
Same here with Oppo Find X5 pro, it charges even with case on.
GT 2 also can charge via Wireless chargher or phone reverse charger
um gt2 pro supports qi wireless charging. Thats the whole reason for the ciramic back.

Thanks for the review. Gt3 is 2 times cheaper then the GT3 pro. Haven't made up my mind which one to get. Waiting for a beter deal on the pro. Maybe I can hold out.
Had the same thought, upgrading from my gt2. I like the more industrial look of the gt3 pro, compared to the classic watch look of the gt3. Side note, gt3 pro had titanium case vs stainless steel. And a higher resistance on the screen. That makes me lean towards the gt3 pro.
There is a lot of confusion and discussion about the memory capacity of the GT3 pro. Huawei Netherlands told me RAM 32 Mb (which is extremely low and about 60 times lower than the 3 pro which is on older model watch of Huawei) and ROM 4 Gb. However many owners of this watch report that they are able to upload 25 Gb of music files to this GT3 pro. Many website report in their specification sheet of this watch 32 Gb memory. So @WhatGear can you once and for all end this confusion and check on YOUR GT3 pro what the real memory capacity of the GT3 pro is ? Maybe you can find it somewehere in the settings of the watch or just upload as many music files as possible. many thanks in advance.
@UnEingespielt With such low RAM of 32 Mb I think an update to harmony OS 3.0 is impossible. Did you check in the settings in the Huawei Health app what the free memory is ?

@UnEingespielt A pity you can not include attachments here because in one of the Russian reviews of the GT3 pro on youtube there was screenshot of the Huawei Health app which showed that the GT3 pro still had 25 Gb free memory left. This makes it so confusing if it is stated in most reviews that the memory is just 4 Gb. Maybe there are more versions of the GT3 pro and it is region dependend how much memory is installed !!!??????

I have the GT pro2 best watch I've ever owned but fails in one very important feature, there is no wireless network support. Of course, that drains the battery but wireless network support means you can leave your phone anywhere in the house and still make and receive phone calls which Apple Watch rates number one unfortunately. I have a Samsung watch5 with wi-Fi but I found very inconsistent.

I own a Huawei gt4 but there are almost no apps for it so I don't recommend a huawei watch they don't even have something as simple as a spotify app.. the integrarion with android is non existing sadly because the watch definitely looks good

I have Gt2 and Gt2 pro. i need to buy extra charger for GT2 for traveling so i won't forget because its not wireless charging. But when i had the GT2 Pro im good to go. either i am using my wireless powerbank or I charge it using my Huawei phone mate Pro with reverse charger 😁
My greatest disappointment in GT3. I CANT use the temporizer at the same time the training is on! Thats ridiculous.

Hi mate, good vid, I've had the Pro 2 for a couple of years now and it's been great. I can get the Pro 3 for a hundred off at the min so I'm tempted, I still like the dark grey of 2 as well though, can you connect 2 watches to the health app so I could swap them around if I wanted without removing one completely and then syncing the other.

Yeah the battery lasts because its not WearOS and no google and other apps, no writing messages, cant receive and watch pictures, cant write mails etc. But still, the build quality and design is ahead of Samsung watches.
